Using a built-in rigid bullnose, we custom make carpet stair treads and landings in custom width/depth options to fit your desired taste and needs. Every set of treads are hand made in Cartersville, Georgia using only high quality carpet. Each stair tread is permanently attached to a rigid plastic bullnose piece so that when the tread is installed it will wrap nicely around your stair tread and stay there! The TRUE Bullnose (TM) Stair Tread is for the discerning DIYer that wants a high-quality alternative to the old school/costly full stair runner, which required professional installation and permanent nail damage to your wood stairs. They also are perfect for tiled stairs, which are not easily carpeted. Adding carpet makes wood and tile steps safer for the young and old as well as pets of all sizes.

Services we don't offer

We do not come to your home and clean your steps for installation. Nor do we install the treads. You clean your stairs and then install the treads in minutes. You set the built-in rigid bullnose against the end of the stair, lower the tread into place and press it down. That’s it! You can center the treads on the stairs, or if you have a wall on one side, just install them flush up against it — either way looks great!

Excellent. Initially I needed to change my order right after I placed it. They responded within an hour of my request in a very friendly way taking care of what I had requested. Also when they went to fulfill our order the fabric company sent them the wrong fabric. So as an apology we received one bullnose stair tread iand a small rug in our fabric again with a very friendly and timely note. Once we received our full set of tread's they were nicely packaged even with a bow! Very nice touch. It worked for me! Everything was timely, neat and excellent quality. The sticky stuff put on the back really works and is not permanent or damaging the wood. And one more plus – we put these on because we wanted the stairs softer and with traction since we had tripped on them and our older dog is having a challenge getting up and down in this new house. I was afraid that the carpet would be slippery on the edges. However with the firm bullnose at the edge, it actually creates a safer stair edge which I am grateful for.
Description of Work: I wanted 100% wool nice quality stair tread's that also cover the front of the stair edge.
