Our plumbing was backing up late yesterday afternoon and I called Tidwell. They were booked through the rest of the day and the next day (which would be today), however Janet in the office said she would keep us on a list and call if they could squeeze us in. Lo and behold a little after 8am today, they were on the way to rescue us. Ronald and his partner got here and it was about as bad as it could be. But these gentlemen didn’t blink an eye and got right to work. And let me add - the weather was horrible! Ronald has been with the company for about 30 years and it shows. He and his partner were so good natured and put me at ease immediately. I am so impressed with Tidwell. They were upfront with pricing which was very reasonable and they were unbelievably efficient. If you’re having issues with your septic tank - this is THE company to call. They’re in a class above the rest and we are so grateful for their wonderful service!

After reading the previous reviews we decided to contact Tidwell Plumbing. My mother has owned her home for approximately 30 years and has never had her septic tank pumped. We called them on a Friday and they were here the following Monday. We had not been having any problems, but it was obvious it needed to be done. It took awhile to even find our septic tank. After searching around the pipe that sticks out in my back yard, they finally found my tank in my front yard partially hidden under our shrubbery. They had told me on Friday that the base rate was $300. Even though they had to search for my tank and even cut out some of our shrubbery before pumping 30 years of sludge, my end price was still $300. The guys that came out were really great and professional. I definitely recommend them. And will be calling on them any time we are in need of their services.

I just purchased my house, which was built in 2003, and the previous owner had no idea when the last time the septic tank had been pumped. Being a firm believer in preventative maintenance I called another plumber on Angie's list but they didn't cover my area. They suggest I call Tidwell, as they have a good reputation. Two gentlemen showed up and proceeded to locate my tank. It took a little while (thanks to the good 'ol Georgia clay and rock, but they located it and said that they couldn't dig up the covers by hand because the tank was about 3 feet under the ground. I fully agreed because my front yard is like concrete. They also suggested that I install risers for the tank covers to make the job easier, and cheaper in the future. NOTE: They did NOT charge me anything for the first visit! I set up a new appointment and they returned with a backhoe, the risers for the tank, and their pumping truck. Once they had dug up the covers and had access to the tank we discovered that the Tee on the inlet pipe had come off. After they had pumped the tank they re-glued the Tee for me. They did a good job backfilling the holes and even left the extra dirt where I asked them to. I am 100% satisfied with the job and definitely recommend Tidwell Plumbing. I WILL be calling them the next time I need my septic tank pumped, or if it should need any repairs!

Job was carried out quickly and professionally for the sum quoted. Tidwell turned up att the agreed time (within 24 hrs of initial contact). The only (minor) issue I had was that some damage (inevitable) was done to the lawn surface and some edging trim pieces. This was not put back at the end of the job. I understand they needed to dig to get access (and any service provider would need to do the same) - but it is worth bearing in mind that if access is below the lawn or flower beds these will not be returned to the same condition as at the start.

Would not flush completely. When Kyle Tidwell came in snaked the toilet and found a bracelet had dropped into. The hoop had filled with tissue paper and this is what was not allowing the water to flow properly therefore it would not flush properly.
