Horace and his team did an amazing job with my projects! The first time I used them to install sod. They were on time, professional and took care with my yard. The second time I used them to install sod at a home I had just purchased and I later had them come back to install green giant arborvitae trees along my fence line for privacy. Their work is always second to none! They show up when they say they will and they don’t stop until they have completed the job! If I have a need for landscaping in the future, I will definitely use Prestige Landscape Group! I have referred many of my friends to them as well! Thanks Horace and Team! I am a customer for life!!

This man will mot stand behind his company’s work. If anything goes wrong, even when the fault of his company, he’ll flat out refuse to fix if. When he first comes to meet you he presents himself as a good ole professional guy, but when issues come up in the job he becomes totally inflexible and unwilling to correct the problems. I paid him over $7000 to sod my backyard in Cartersville, including tilling up the yard and adding several dump truck loads of manure. The did looked great for first 4 weeks and was coming along nicely. 4 weeks later when it was time to mow the lawn, which Horace agreed to do, his employee came and ripped and roared across the newly laid sod as fast as he could, practically doing wheelies every time he turned his mower. He completely tore up the yard!!! Ruts everywhere, sod ripped up, it was horrible. I called Horace to see what had happened and he became indignant. Unwilling to do anything to repair the situation even though his company tore it up!!! Ever since they tore the yard up it took over 5 years for me to get all the bare ruts covered up, but the yard is rough and difficult to walk on. Don’t hire this guy if you want someone who stands behind their work.

This company was hired to lay fescue sod in my backyard. The last step of my job included mowing the new sod, which Mr Jones agreed to do. Sod is very delicate when it’s first mowed, but he sent his stepson/ employee was very young to do the job. This young man proceeded to rip & roar as fast as he could across the yard, totally tearing up the Sod and leaving ruts everywhere. It was a mess. I asked Mr Jones to redo the ruined sod but he became angry and indignant and refused. His own employee destroyed the yard but he was unwilling to correct it!!!! So you don’t want to hire this man if you want someone to stand behind their work. I have written truthful reviews about this situation but Mr Jones has called me a liar online. He has lied by saying that I hired someone in his “Msintenance Division” to mow the lawn, and thus, he’s not responsible for the damage. This is a complete lie! This man doesn’t even have a maintenance division; if you look up his website you’ll see it says they don’t do maintenance or mowing,? And because he didn’t like the review he had an atty threaten me in a letter! All he had to do was do the right thing by replacing the sod his employee tore up, but he chose not to. He didn’t want to go to the trouble or lose his profit, so I was the one to pay the price. The yard never mended in its own and to this day it walks very rough and bumpy due to all the ruts that were created. Very difficult to walk on. If you want a company that will stand by their work and is honest, don’t hire this company.

A few months after contracting with Prestige to install new sod in an average size back yard, it became apparent the whole lawn was uneven. When I called the owner to address the matter, he agreed to come check it out but never did and soon quit taking my calls and texts. After a full summer of trying to level up the low spots on my own, I realized the grading damage was beyond the scope of homeowner repair. After posting a negative but honest review about the results of the job, he finally called me back to discuss. In an angry fit of rage, he outright dismissed my concerns and declared he only stands behind his work for thirty days. All quotes I have received to correct the problems state that re-grading and re-sodding the lawn will be required. The yard had a gentle slope that just needed sod, but now it has large low areas in between high humps that do not drain adequately. This might be an isolated incident, but a blatant lack of attention to detail, quality assurance and customer service is undeniable in this case. He will reply to this review in a helpful and apologetic tone which I can assure you is completely phony. He clearly stated well after the fact that any problem after 30 days is entirely mine. Are you willing to pay top dollar for a sod installation that might need to be re-done in 31 days?
