Very poor communication and coordination. The owner of the company did not show for our initial meeting, and was several hours late for the second appointment. After our walk through, she said that she would get a price proposal to me the next day. I called several times, left messages, and the Owner was completely unresponsive.

Let me say first that Kathy does business the way it should be done by everyone. She did a job for me a couple years ago on an old house with no facia board. There were some problems which she came and corrected. But please read on! This time I looked for a different company on Angie's List. The day before they were scheduled to come I found out that they were subbing the job out to...Kathy. I told the project manager about my problems in the past, and apparently he told her. She came to my door before they even started and wanted to know why I was dissatisfied in the past, how she could make it right, and to make sure that I would refer people to her in the future. They did an outstanding job. There was no trace they were here when they left. She does business by making sure the customer is happy. And she's a nice person. I highly recommend her. Perry Kirk

When I originally contacted (Kathy of) KP Gutters, she did not arrive for an estimate when she told me she would. I am retired so this was not a serious issue but obviously could be for others. I was impressed that she told me she had put the gutters on the front of my house after a porch remodel about 15 years ago. She told me she knew this because she recognized the craftsmanship of how the corners were made. When I questioned her further out of curiosity, she had in fact done the earlier work. She and her ex-husband, now deceased, owned a different company years ago. Her price, for a six inch gutter, compared to other vendors' five inch gutters, was lower. The installation took about an hour for a 50 foot run on the back of the house and a section on the front of my utility building. They arrived just as I was getting up- on a retiree schedule- and were through by the time I was washing dishes after breakfast. I had asked last week for her to call if she could before she came but she did not. It was a little disconcerting with them showing up just as I was getting out of bed. I prefer a little better planning, but in all fairness she had not promised to call but said she would try to and this was her first stop of the day after after the storms we have had recently. A little inconvenient but not like I was waiting for a plumber. She has just gotten this as a new business started and hopefully will get better organized and more punctual. The job looks nice and the price was better than any others.
