Joyce and Gerald are some of the most down to earth and hard working people you will ever meet. They are extremely accommodating to their customer and pay attention to details so that they properly address the customer's needs. They noticed things that need to be done on our house that we didn't even notice but decided should be done once they had been brought to our attention. We are trying to sell our house so getting the work done as fast as possible was a priority for us. That being the case we initially hired a contractor that said he could get in and knock out the job within a few days. Well, by day 5 the place was looking worse than it ever had. Different colored paints with totally different finish types had been applied to the same walls and ceilings, poor coverage, he wouldn't remove hardware and would try to paint around it unless we either removed the hardware ourselves or specifically asked him to. One of the worst things was how he totally ruined the walls while "patching" the holes. What had been a small hole in several cases turned into huge 2 foot wide atrocious looking blotches on the walls. Then after all of that he basically extorted money out of us saying that if we didn't pay him anyway he would file a lien on the house. Don't think for a moment that guys like that can't do it either because in Louisiana it is state law that the parish MUST record a lien for ANYONE who goes to file a lien on another's property. Even if they don't have a license they can file a lien on your house, car, etc. Even if they have technically never done anything for you or even met you, they can file a lien on your property and you will be required to take the case to court to sort it out. Welcome to backwoods law of Louisiana. Buyer beware people. So, after all of that, B&B came in and totally fixed everything that guy did and you can't tell that any of it was ever a problem. Everything they did looks brand new. They were in and out in 2.5 days--well ahead of the schedule they gave us. They gave a realistic finish date of about 7 days finished well earlier. BTW, other contractors, THAT is how you do it: give a worst case deadline and then make your customer happy with a early finish, not the other way around. All in all, I would recommend anyone looking for the kind services that B&B performs contact them first. They are fair, fast and they do a superb job while paying attention to detail. Thanks B&B!
