William showed up promptly to my home to give an estimate based on the specific parameters of my house.  I was very impressed with his knowledge of components and how to optimize my set-up.  I selected him over a number of other estimates.  When he showed up for the job, we determined that the glare in my living room was too severe for the existing plasma TV, so he accompanied me to a local BestBuy to advise on a purchase of a new TV.  When that BestBuy did not have the correct model, he was kind enough to go with me to a location further away to pick up the set that worked best.  After we returned, he installed all of my components and, to the extent he could, used existing wiring and components at my request.  Everything looks great and very professional.  He has also been available to answer a number of questions I had post-set up and came by, gratis, to address a problem that was an issue with my remote and not his set-up.  William was kind, courteous and very hard-working.  I will not hesitate to use him again in the future. 

I was very impressed by initial phone call and subsequent meeting with William Parr.  He was interested, had a "can do" spirit and seemed ready to get things done.  I liked him from the get go.  I reached out to 4 companies on Angie's List for a large job of Home Theatre and Stereo to be done at the home we just bought.William was very responsive in the beginning including a follow up phone call the day of his consultation.  Only one problem he never got back with a quote!  Nothing - Nada.  No so much as I am not interested, or I am too busy, etc..  

I had told him that I would get him the "specific" component information of some of our existing equipment.  I "failed" to do this until 2 days later; however, I have heard nothing back from him since I sent this information. Two of the other companies responded with full quotes within 48 hours of their initial consultation, and they did not need me to send the existing component information. Unfortunately 5 days after William was here we still have no quote and must move on with a decision to execute on the job.

We heard a loud popping noise and the rear projection television stopped working. We ordered a replacement bulb from Amazon and it was still not showing a picture. William came out to take a look and determine what parts needed to be ordered. He ran a diagnostic check and determined that the ballast and the power supply had both gone bad. He called to get a cost on the parts and calculated the labor hours. He was very up front that the cost of the repair was not a good investment for the age of the tv. He recommended a new tv and was very knowledgeable about the different technologies. He explained the pros and cons of each but ultimately provided a recommendation for a plasma vs. an LCD or LED. We purchased a 60" plasma from Costco and we will have him come back to do the wall mounting and installation. The price that he quoted for this service was a very affordable vs what others would charge - and it includes "inside the wall" wiring. This guy really knows his stuff and we would trust him to install any home system, alarm, entertainment systems, etc.

He installed a 46" LED Samsung tv to a wall by placing a new electrical box on the wall to hide all wires.  He also installed the home theatre system and set it all up to a working order.  Very smooth process.

William did a fantastic job.  His quality and professionalism started with his initial visit for the quote.  He looked at the installation location and provided several alternatives for running the cables.  He also made suggestions fixing several issues that I had with speaker placement by using in wall speakers.

Once I made the decision to use William, he ordered the parts and came to the house for the installation within a week.  He did his best to limit the sheetrock damage when installing the cables and ended up making less holes than he had originally indicated.

The installation looks great.  All of the power, speaker and A/V cables are run in the wall so there is nothing but the TV and speakers visible.
I will definitely use William again for any installation help that I need.
