The job went very well! Materials had to be ordered, so that some some time but they arrived sooner than expected. Work was completed in a timely manner, work site was neat. I’m very pleased with their work and professionalism and would definitely recommend them and call on them again.

DO NOT do business with Quality Contracting. Richard King is not a man of his word and doesn’t follow through. The only time he is responsive is when he wants a check. The terms of our agreement with Quality Contracting were not met going on six months and the work is still not complete. At this point I need to find others to complete the work.

I am very disappointed with the integrity of the owner Richard King. I thought he was a man of his word but he will not follow through with his promises. Richard replaced a rotten railroad tie wall and replaced it with stacked concrete wall. During the construction, the irrigation system water line was cut and the outdoor lighting wire was also cut. Richard said he would come back and repair the cut lines after the job was complete. It has been 1-1/2 years and he has not come back to fix the damage. I contacted him after a year and he said he would pay me $1200 to cover the expense to repair the cut lines. It has been 6 months since he said he would pay me and he hasn't paid me. He told me the check was in the mail and it never came. He said I could pick it up and he never gave me an address to come by and pick it up. He told me on numerous occasions he would pay me but he has never did. I would recommend that you do not give Richard your credit card number or he will charge it for the entire amount of the job. He will not follow through on any promises to repair or fix damage caused during the construction. I would not recommend him as he is not a man of his word.

I had a very large job to be done. There were several large trees removed by Zach's Tree service (another great guy to work with BTW) and told him what i was planning to do and asked him if he knew anybody he would recommend. He gave me Richard's name at Quality Contracting & Concrete LLC. And when I say large trees ...I mean large. I was redoing the already existing driveway and sidewalk along with a new half circe drive that connected to the old driveway and a sidewalk along the side of my house to the backyard. I wanted it graded so that any water would drain away from the house. That required some serious grading and some navigation around the gas, water and electrical lines. The rain and freezing temperatures really delayed the project and Richard was really good about explaining the process and why we couldn't pour the concrete. I am sure that most other companies would have tried to pour the concrete so they could move on to the next job. But he didn't ...he made sure the conditions were right. We had a problem with the gas line not being deep enough for him to grade the area we had planned for the new driveway. We had to wait on Atlanta Gas and Light to come out and move it. So rather than have the project delayed, he came up with a solution for a retaining wall in front of the gas line and move the driveway slightly and i have to say i love it! It looks better than the original design! Oh and BTW still haven't heard back from AGL!!! supposed to be 4 days....been 4 weeks now. Good thing Richard came up with a solution. Every curve ball thrown his way he came up with a solution that actually improved the project. It was an absolute pleasure working with him and his team! I am already looking forward to him doing some more work for me in the back yard. I couldn't be happier with work and service i received. He really is about "Quality"....just like the company name.

We hired Richard 3 years ago to do a large retaining wall project. The job was absolutely amazing. We got many complements and it made our yard look better than ever. Three years later, this past October, we hired Quality Contracting to do another retaining wall (on the other side of our home), a patio with a fire pit and a stone bench, a dry creek bed, and putting rip rap in a creek that was eroding. Richard, by far, offered the most reasonable price for all the work we requested. We knew he did wonderful work. Well, he truly outdid himself. Our finished project is better than we could have even imagined. We are so pleased. He redirected all the rain issues we were having with the dry creek bed, making it look beautiful at the same time. He put lights in under the bench and at the entrance to the patio. And he even made a step down patio that is gorgeous. We had an extremely rainy and then freezing cold fall (into winter) and there were days that they could not work, understandably. So, whenever they could work, even on weekends and cold but not freezing (due to the concrete not curing) days, they were out there working until and into dark. When they couldn't work, Richard contacted us to give us updates on a regular basis. Our project was finished (except for putting some sod down once the weather warms up) and I love looking out the window just to see the finished job. We can't say enough wonderful things about Richard and his company. We are already planning a few other projects and there is no doubt, he will be the one we will use. Thank you Richard - you really are Quality!

Rich signed contracts for walls and patios to be built over a year ago. He requested a credit card for initial payment. He immediately charged my credit card with 4 separate charges for more than the initial contract. When confronted he made and excuse saying they were not use to the system and made a mistake - the money was not refunded. I later found out from a neighbor that he did that same thing to them. Once the work was startedThey started he immediately attempting to add extra charges for everything that was already included in the contract. I was very clear with him upon starting the work that it was a fixed bid and he assured me that they could complete the work but that did not stop him from putting invoices in front me every time they anything. This job was started over a year ago and he has not completed the work. He makes excuses for rain, for sick workers, for broken tools, if you are looking for someone that will not complete your work, makes excuses for not showing up then Rich is your man. Otherwise stay clear of this company and it's owner.

Richard built one wall for us and did a good job even tho he was late getting it started. The second wall never was built. He broke his contract and I have been attempting to get my down payment back for a year. Richard King is a thief. Never, under any circumstances give Richard any money until after he has completed the work.

After researching 3 different landscape/hardscape contractors to re-do of our backyard, we settled on Quality Contracting LLC of Canton, GA. We chose Richard (the owner) because his follow-up and thoroughness were leaps and bounds ahead of the other two contractors. Richard is a business man that truly values the client relationship and he demonstrated integrity. He provided several references which were very positive about his work and integrity. He worked around other contractor?s schedules (we had separate contractors for tree removal and irrigation system). Richard was patient and professional the whole time and listened to the few ideas I had and made suggestions and we finally agreed on what should be done and he did a great job. During the planning phase he provided valuable suggestions about the material to use, start dates and the duration. He also suggested putting river rock against the retaining wall instead of having sod all the way to the retaining wall. That was a great idea ? it looks great and reduces the lawn maintenance. His prices were reasonable and Richard helped make some changes to stay within our budget. I recommend him and his crew to anyone who needs a yard make over
