Mom's Helping Hand Maid Service

I do NOT recommend Mom's Helping Hand Maid Service. We had a dishonest transaction with them. My husband scheduled a one time appt to have our house cleaned as a surprise Mother's Day Gift to me. However, when I found out, I panicked as the service was not something we could afford in our budget. When we called to have the appt cancelled, we were quoted $40 for a cancellation fee. I understand and get a cancellation fee. When I checked my credit card, we were actually charged $100. I called to inquire about the charge. I was given a run around. The most infuriating part of my whole ordeal with Mom's Helping Hand is that the appt was made at 7 PM at night and was cancelled 12.5 hours later at 7:30 AM the very next morning. They charged the $100 to my card many hours after the cleaning was supposed to be finished. There was NO reason to charge me.

They provide the best quality service. The customer service of thew owner is incredible. I have other services before and this one is the best.

The service was great. They were very accommodating. They work with my schedule. They did a great job. They were professional and courteous.

I hired Mom's Helping Hand for bi-weekly cleaning because I was working over 70 hours a week and didn't have time to keep up with the house, yard and errands on my one day off a week. At first I was pleased with their work. Then I started noticing things didn't seem to be as clean as they should be after their service. Once my work schedule returned to normal, I let them know I would no longer need their services. Wouldn't you know that two weeks after I informed them they would no longer be needed, I was billed for a cleaning. I called and left a message when I noticed the charge on my credit card. A week later after I did not get a response from the first message I called and left a second message. That call was returned. The owner said I had not given a 24 hour cancellation notice. Since when is two weeks not considered a 24 hour cancellation notice. He also claimed to have not received my first call. He refused to refund my money. All I can say is buyer beware! I will be calling my credit card and disputing the charge. I work too hard for my money to give it away for a service that was not performed.

Everything was great. They showed up on time and completed the work in a timely manner. I was glad they were available on a Saturday, as we were having a party that night. I always recommend them to everyone who needs cleaning.

THEY WERE LATE GETTING TO THE HOUSE AND THE CLEANING SERVICES THAT WERE DOING WAS TOTALLY UNSATISFIED THE BED THEY MADE WAS NOT MADE CORRECTLY AND THE CLOTHES THEY WERE WASHING WAS NOT SEPARATE PROPERLY. INSTEAD OF CLEANING THE ROOMS THE STUFF WAS JUST PUSH IN THE CORNER OF THE ROOM. THEY DID NOT FINISH CLEANING THE HOUSE. IF PICTURES ARE NEEDED PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

This was an amazing job. Everyone responds quickly to questions and the process was seamless. When I saw the carpets after the job I was amazed. It looked even better than when I first moved in. Will definitely use them again.

Scheduling went well, and the cleaners arrived on time. they cleaned well, but they didn't cover a lot of the house.

The ladies were very slow in doing their work. I have had other cleaning services and I have a good idea of what can be done in an allotted time period. The work that they did was unsatisfactory. I had to pay for an extra one half hour over the time I had paid for because at the end of the time they had only done one half of the work that other cleaning services have done. they were also one half hour late in arriving.

Pretty well. The solution they used seemed to clean pretty much anything and leave a shine. Some areas were just dusted and not wiped down, but by the hr. only so much can be done.

Everything seemed to be cleaned real well with the exception of the hardwood floors. I pointed to some areas that didn't appear to be cleaned on the hardwood floors. The cleaner said they couldn't clean the spots. However, after service was done, I easily cleaned the areas with water.

Received a coupon for Mom's Helping Hand in the mail and called for an appointment. LONG STORY MADE VERY VERY SHORT The girls were very nice, but they damaged my painted kitchen cabinets with scratch marks over the clear coat finish. They told the owner they didn't damage the cabinets. The owner did refund the $221 I paid for the cleaning, but it will cost me about $2000 or more to fix the damage. I am reminded daily of this experience seeing the cabinets in the condition they were left in. Not using any "coupons" I get in the mail again.

I had just finished a project remodeling 2 upstairs bathrooms. Bathrooms were gutted down to the studs. Even though I had cleaned after the project, my house was still dirty. Mom's Helping Hands Maid Service cleaned my house "top to bottom". Not a speck of dust when they finished. Excellent; could not have been more pleased.

The girls were great! I haven't been able to keep up with the house since moving my father in with us. And it's important to keep it clean with his breathing condition. Destiny and Jessica were wonderful! They really know what they're doing! I have.also begun biweekly cleaning services with them. The house hasn't been this clean in quite a while. It's been much easier to keep house picked sine they began. I highly recommend Moms Helping Hand cleaning service.

I purchased the deal for $140 for 4 hours of house cleaning (or 2 people for 2 hours as it turned out to be). The deal was for a weekday but I paid extra to have them come out on a weekend. They not only accommodated me quickly, making my appointment within 48 hours, the service was excellent AND they even stayed a little passed the allotted time to ensure the job was completed thoroughly. They are a husband and wife team who were very nice, quiet, and efficient. I would definitely use them again.

The two women who showed up did a great job with the time they were allotted. They focused on baseboards, oven, bathrooms, and dusting. I had bought a 4 hour angles list house cleaning special for $140 which is actually two hours and two people, which makes sense, but it was not enough time to clean our house which is not all too large at 3 beds 2 baths. Overall, I'd use them again if they were running a special, but the hesitancy is that I would need double the time to have everything completed and the price is a little high for 4 hours and 2 people. All in all, I recommend this company for anybody with basic cleaning needing done. For anything particular such as oven or other less daily chores, I would plan for more time. Very friendly and prompt staff, this is what would have me coming back.

It was great. My wife wanted to do it again. There were no additional charges. They really cleaned and it was really nice to have their service. They were very efficient. It took about a couple of hours for them to complete the job. The price was good and fair. It was the first time we used the service. They messed up the schedule and came late or something. They were very professional. I would use them again.

Very well! The staff was very courteous and very timely. They did an excellent job cleaning my condo and I will use them again in the future.

5 Bed - 3 Full Bath house 1875 Square Feet. House is kept pretty clean normally anyway- no kids, 1 dog. And we were always pretty darn neat anyway. First cleaning paid $280.00 for a move out /move in. Showed up on time. As noted awesome work on blinds, baseboards, 4 bedrooms- stripped beds, washed sheets/duvets and folded them all back up and stored in each room correctly as requested. ( I had already cleaned the downstairs master so I asked them to skip that bedding.) Scrubbed all three bathrooms Scrubbed all cabinets Scrubbed Microwave and vent above Did most of the fan blades but had to come back to do the 20 FT ceiling fan blades. Vacuumed carpets and were supposed to scrub tile floors. BUT when I had a professional steam cleaner come in 1 week later to do the tile flooring they told me the floors were in fact -not recently cleaned. Can't be sure they (Steam Cleaners) were accurate about this statement- but frankly I could not tell if the tile floors had been cleaned and stated that in my former review. Second Cleaning: Nov. 4 Paid $90.00. First floor cleaning only. 1 Bed.1 Bath, Kitchen, Living room, Dining Room and Reading Room. They did a good job- but did not launder the linens /bedding on downstairs master. Innocent misunderstanding since I had told them not to bother with the Master bedroom bedding the first time and they thought that meant forever. Melissa actually came back and washed the sheets and remade the bed. Third Cleaning: Nov. 18 Paid $90.00. They did a good job- but AGAIN did not launder the linens /bedding on downstairs master.They did make the bed. With the 2 week old sheets.... sigh. I called Melissa (Owner) on Nov. 18 to let her know but never heard back. So on Nov. 21, called again and spoke with Melissa. Melissa explained that due to insurance issues- they do not launder sheets or bedding as a rule. They did that for me a a special request only. Going forward, I have to strip the bed, wash the sheets and then they will make up the bed. Melissa was very nice about all this- and I guess I now understand. But that pretty much kills it for me. I need service that includes laundering linens and making the 1 Master bed that is in use. And I need a service that secures all locks when they leave and doesn't lose the gas key to my fireplace. Plus I kept getting different crew personnel in my house- each time which creeps me out.

Charlene and Keisha arrived at 8:30 as promised. They were very nice and listened to the special requests I made regarding the artwork ( tons of artwork), need to have every blind cleaned down (on 32 windows) and cleaning ceiling fans ( one of which is on a 20 foot ceiling). Overall the ladies did an awesome job- they cleaned all the blinds super well. I had already stripped the beds but they made sure the linens were washed, and folded neatly away in each guest bedroom. Carpets were vacuumed, and all tables were cleaned/dusted, most of the ceiling fans were dusted- but they could not dust the 20"ft fan because they did not bring the attachment needed. Promised to get this handled on next visit on 11/4/14. Cabinet faces were cleaned down. Ditto with bathroom cabinets. Bathrooms were spotless! It was hard for me to tell if the kitchen and foyer floors had been washed/scrubbed (slate like porcelain tile) and if so -how they were cleaned. But they looked good. The ladies were very nice to my beloved Springer dog - so that was super. The owners sent an email to follow up with me to see how it went- and I called and left message saying overall I was pleased. I would suggest that there should be a leave behind check list that says " We Cleaned The Following For You Today" . I.e. Kitchen: Cleaned Cabinet Fronts Scrubbed Counters Scrubbed Sinks Scrubbed Oven Top/Microwave Washed Floors The team spent 4.5 hours in the house and we estimated 4 hours- but in my world they were on schedule because there was a lot to do.

They were pretty good. I think my house is probably too big to be thoroughly cleaned in 6 hours, so there were a couple areas that looked like they could have used some more attention. But, very pleasant workers, very professional, and hard working.

A team of two ladies arrived on time, and were so polite and friendly. I had originally hired them to clean the house, but asked if I wanted, could they be available to stay and clean the basement as well. I explained to the owner, we are having a wedding for 100 guests in our backyard in a few days and I have so many other things I have to do. He was so nice and arranged for them to be scheduled for the day if needed. They cleaned all day, even made my kitchen cabinets look new! I absolutely got what I paid for and could not be happier that I chose Mom's Helping Hand. The owner was terrific to work with and makes sure his customers are happy with his company and their work. I will use them in the future, no doubt.
