The guys did a wonderful job. They were on time, friendly and very knowledgeable about product. The installation went very smooth and they even made my fireplace look better than it did. I had no idea it could look that good. No mess either. They brought big drop cloths to protect the floor. I will use them again and will suggest to friends and neighbors.

Jimmy and Conny were great! Jimmy showed up on time and did an excellent job in doing the work and cleaning up! Jimmy took found Santa's driver's liscence and a portion of his suit, which he gave to my kids! He cleaned the chimney and found a major fire hazard. The cap and top portion of the pipe were not the proper pipe or cap. There were char marks outside of the pipe where sparks had made it through from the previous home owner. Thank goodness we waited to have an inspection! The rain pan was almost rusted through. He came out on a separate trip to install the new cap and pipe. He came out a third time to install the rain pan. Would recomend Custom Chimney Sweeping to anyone!

This all occurred on the same visit to clean our chimney which is a annual ordeal at my home as well as emptying the 'ash trap. As the cleaning process started on time and extremely clean with all the extensions used to sweep and inspect the lining of he chimney flue. Even with the video equipment used to connect the 360 degree camera to record all that was seen after the chimney was swept. Having discovered the cracks in the chimney flue, clean up started. with the drop cloth previously place around the chimney area no real soot from sweeping the chimney fell on any where noticeable. The educational process started as the report he normally leaves following each sweeping as well as any repairs preformed on loose mortar around fire brick or around the gas starter. All available options were described and his recommended repair manor for the cracked flue tile to make the fireplace safe to enjoy burning wood again in the hearth of the fireplace. There are no silly questions. As home owners we are not informed enough about the safety to have burning wood inside our fireplace either masonry or prefab. He did a great job cleaning the chimney and suggested a few repairs as well. We scheduled the repair work which involved new mortar and a new heat deflector. After Mr. Morson's repair, my firebox looked brand new (this is a 30+ year fireplace). He was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and while it is a dirty job - he took the proper precautions and left my house as he found it.
