All American Landscape and Stone

From start to finish, the experience with All American Landscape and Stone was exceptional. Chad and his team were professional, efficient, and highly skilled. They transformed our outdated patio into a beautiful outdoor space with meticulous attention to detail. The team was always punctual, communicative, and respectful of our property. We're extremely pleased with the results and highly recommend All American Landscape and Stone for any landscaping project.

I regret hiring Chad. We hired him to rebuild a bluestone deck that had leak/water problems. Many months later, many sour moments when he has unresponsive, $40K+ later, and many follow ups because his subcontractors were not doing a good job; he finally "finished" the deck but, 2 months later, we called him with a claim that the new deck still had water/leak problems. He has ignored our claims to repair the deck and we are considering a lawsuit.

They built us a high quality stone fireplace and paver patio within our budget and in a timely manner. I would hire again for sure.

Not well. After the first day, I did not see him again until the final walk through. The workers were unsupervised and not always clear on what had been promised as included in the contract. For instance in the upper part of the back yard where there is no grass and not a drainage problem, it had been agreed that they would spray to kill the existing weeds prior to covering with pine straw. They said they would but when that time came they decided to take care of the weeds by using a shovel to remove the top layer of soil, and they were doing that in a very small area of what needed to be addressed. They went ahead and put down the pine straw. I told them that was not was agreed to and told Chad about it and he said not to worry, if necessary, he would have them rake up the pine straw and spray before I made the final payment. When they were preparing the yard for the drainage system, a wire was cut which I happened to notice but was not told about. When I asked about it, a worker told me he thought it was an old wire and asked me if I had noticed anything not working in the house. As they were getting ready for the sod, I asked abut rolling the ground to make sure it was level and was told that wasn't necessary, but when the sod was laid, there were areas that were not level which caused the pieces of sod not to join correctly and in one low area created a small gully. The sod was delivered a day prior to being installed and sat in driveway in the sun. There were numerous pieces that were brown and falling apart by the time they were put down. Prior to making my final payment he came out for a walk through and several things had to be taken care of before I would do that - take up pine straw in upper yard & spray weeds and put back, remove pine straw which was incorrectly put on top of ground cover on side of house, fill gully and re-lay sod, put down more pine straw as 75 bales were on contract but not what was put down. The workers came back & took care of the items on the list. Chad called me to confirm that they had been done and asked me to ,mail the check, which I did. I asked him about several areas in the yard which remained uneven & where it looked as if pieces of the sod were dead and he said the unevenness would eventually take care of itself and asked me to give the bad areas a few weeks, make sure it got watered and let him know how it looked and he would replace whatever needed replaced. I watered & waited but some areas just did not come back. I sent an e-mail and he said he would come out early the following week to see what needed replaced, he never came or called or emailed. I have since left at least 4 voice mail messages and 4 or 5 emails and no response. I had received several quotes prior to contracting them and they were priced in the middle and after meeting him, I didn't have any real concerns. However, I will never recommend them!

Chad left workers unsupervised most of the time. He constantly had problems getting the sod and getting to my home to do the work as planned. He left the yards with only dirt for almost a week with no work being done. He left equipment that his workers probably needed laying in my front yard for days. I had to constantly try to contact him to find out when he was going to have someone there to do the work. When I complained about having to wait so long for sod he told me I should not complain at all because he was doing the job so cheep that I should be grateful. When he put in the drain pipe on the side of my yard his men broke through a pipe of my neighbors but never said anything to me. I found it out from my neighbor instead. When I contacted him about it, he said oh, I was gonna tell you. After putting in the drain, he had not put dirt around it so it stuck up from the ground. And there was no sod put along the end of the pipe that he told me he would do. I constantly tried to contact him about completing that section of the yard so that the job would be completed, however he refused to answer my calls or texts and never returned to complete the job. I had to finish that section myself and get dirt and sod myself to finish it. I sent him a certified letter with my concerns and complaints but he never responded ever. I would not trust the company for any job whatsoever. We asked him before he left the job to roll the new sod so it would take root easier however he told us that that was not needed. A year later and the sod it lumpy and hard to mow because of the dips in the yard. When we asked our provider that treats the yard about it, we were told that it should have been rolled when it was installed that that would have taken care of it.
