 + 0 moreWe are very happy with the complete experience. ASR was very professional and thorough at every stage of this job, from initial visit and bid to final inspection on completion. The crews were competent, efficient and easy to have around. They kept the job site very neat, and cleaned up after themselves every day. Every single employee we interacted with was professional and pleasant. This is a large job on a stucco home, and not an inexpensive job for sure, but Advanced Stucco Repair's excellent reputation and Angie's rating is well deserved. After a bit over a week, our 33-year old house looks beautiful and well cared for again. Technically and truly, better than new when considering all the sealing, etc. While I believe we won't need more stucco repairs any time soon, if we need any of the services they provide I would not to hesitate to call them again.
Description of Work: ASR replaced areas of damaged and deteriorated stucco, including underlying rusted lath and water-rotted framing/ sheathing as necessary, in a number of areas around our house. They applied a new coat of stucco to the masonry walls of a terrace, matching the stucco texture on the rest of the house. They replaced some rotted trim on the soffits with new PVC material. They performed a complete sealing/ caulking of all joints and seams with high quality sealants to prevent further water intrusion and subsequent damage to the house. Lastly, their painting crew repainted the entire house with two coats of elastomeric paint (carefully sprayed with a roller pushing first coat into the surface) and then new trim paint on all trim and gutters/ downspouts.

Description of Work: This is an excellent company, and Darin Straub really knows the building and remodeling business. They repaired my rotted windows, removed rot and water damage from the sides of my chimney and built it up again, installed a double door in the basement, repaired and replaced fascia, and repaired cracks in my stucco. Their carpentry work, stucco repair, and customer service is superb. I have asked them to quote me on building stucco arches under my deck. They do both residential and commercial jobs. I had found them through my termite company. I am very impressed with their work. It was all performed in a timely manner.

Description of Work: I have used Advanced Stucco Repair several times over the years to correct some original poor installation done by my builder, patch bird holes, etc. My house is about 30 years old and needed some major work. ASR came out and gave me an estimate to literally put my house back in shape and in top condition. Boy did they ever. They did everything: replaced soffit and fascia boards, repaired rotted wood trim, pressure washed the house top to bottom, including the roof, patched and repaired loosened stucco sections, repaired cracks near the foundation, patched bird holes and separations. They then painted the house with a special water repellant paint, painted all the trim and gutters and downspouts, and caulked very window and light fixture and gutter, etc. I thought I would have to get several companies to do all this work but ASR did it all. I had worked with Darren before, but this time Jeff handled everything. The head painter, Obidio, was so careful to make sure I was happy with my color choices and painted sections of the house using sample colors. Everything was done so well. Even though it was an expensive job, the fact that I didn't have to worry about anything was tremendous. My house literally looks brand new! I am so happy with the work.

 + -1 moreWe had a roof redone last year and when they did this, they had damaged some of our stucco. Advanced stucco was recommended to us from the roofing company, who paid to have it done. They did good work and I was impressed with them. The president of the company came out and he was a fantastic person. He was very nice. He also mentioned that they do windows. I was pleased with everything they had done.

 + 0 moreI hired Darrin Straub and Advanced Stucco Repair to paint the entire exterior of my house as well as the inside of my garage. This also included repairing and refinishing holes in some stucco areas as well as carpentry work to remove and replace multiple places of rotted wood before priming and painting. I have to say that this is one of those extremely pleasant experiences where the people and quality of work far exceeded my expectations, and the pricing was very competitive as well. Darrin, the carpenters, and Obidio and his paiting team were all extremely professional and dedicated to doing the job right. They took the time to make sure everything was perfect instead of the usual sloppy work and rushing to get the job done as fast as possible. They were also a very nice group of people to work with and you can be comfortable having them around your house. I HIGHLY recommend Advanced Stucco Repair for painting, stucco and carpentry work at your home. They are OUTSTANDING.
Description of Work: Primed, sealed and painted entire otside of house and inside of garage. Removed all gutters from house. Removed and replaced all rotted wood on outside of house. Repaired and refinished all holes and dents in stucco areas of house. Used high quality Sherwin Williams paint products.

 + -1 moreMy call was returned in a timely manner by Darren who informed us he had a salesman in the area who would notify us to set up an appointment. Jeff, a project manager, called and set up an appointment. Jeff was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He examined the damage and assured us he would email us an estimate for the repair the next day. That was approximately 12/14/12. We are still waiting. I can't comment on the quality of their work but question their reliability.

 + 0 moreOutstanding results and very professional in every aspect during the consturction and painting work done. Excellent follow-up by the President to ensure satisfaction during and after the job was completed.
Description of Work: ASR resurfaced stucco trim bands over the double garage and the front elevation trim bands around all windows on the front. They also repaired and replaced fascia board pieces and repaired some siding. They also painted newly installed French doors and the interior and exterior of new windows installed by another contractor. The ASR personnel were very professional and courteous. Some paint was spilled on a rock entry and they worked on it until I was completely satisfied with the results. Darrin Straub, the President contacted me numerous times to ensure his people were on time and that I was satisfied with the final results. I was extremely pleased with ASR's performance in all respects and would recommend them to anyone. As to price I compared with two other bids and they were very competitive.

Description of Work: Resurface a stucco wall, punch a hole and investigate large crack for potential water intrusion (there was none), caulk all stucco penetrations (pipes, vents, light fixtures, electrical receptacles, etc.), fill in cracks with elastomeric and paint.

Stucco Repair and Restoration: Working with homeowners, real estate agents, and commercial entities Advanced Stucco Repair, Inc. performs repairs of all sizes. Small repairs / patches and total system replacement due to water, termite, and mold damage.
EIFs and Hard Coat Stucco Installation: Licensed applicators for all major stucco manufacturers. ASR installs modern drainable EIFs/ Synthetic and Hard Coat stucco systems.
Stucco Caulking / Dow Corning series: Caulking is a critical part of a properly functioning stucco system. We install backer rod and stucco sealants such as Dow Corning 790 series, Tremco-Dynomic, and Pecora.
Kick Out Flashing: Embedded flashing is the number one cause of significant damage to structural framing, substrate, and stucco. Installation of kick out flashing is inexpensive and a critical piece of the overall system.
Stucco Cutting / Termite Wrap: Stucco that extends below grade level is considered a conducive condition to termite activity. We cut and remove stucco 4-6 inches above grade level, seal with high bonding base coat cement, and apply matching stucco finish coat for an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
Window / Door repairs, Minor Exterior Carpentry: All homes with wood windows experience occasional wood rot. ASR’s carpentry team can simply remove and replace the deteriorated wood with matching PVC replacement trim that will never rot again. ASR also offers window replacement services on fogged glass, single pane to double pane sash kits, and picture window replacement.
Stucco Paint and Elastomeric Stucco Coating: There are many types of stucco systems and different types of paint are recommended for the various types of stucco. We have multiple paint teams that have been employed by ASR for over 5 years.
