3rd Generation Drywall

Luke's drywall man, Hymie, did an excellent patch job ( about a 4 X 6 foot area) on our basement ceiling! He matched the popcorn texture with the rest of the ceiling perfectly! I would highly recommend 3rd Generation Drywall.

Never responded to request for quote. For all I know, their work might be impeccable. Guess I will never know since they obviously don't need the work I offered.

Quality was great. They were able to match the stippling such that to you cannot tell where a repair has been made. They were very fast in finishing the work. Scheduling was pretty quick, too. Owner was able to provide a rough estimate of cost over cellphone (with provided pictures and measurement estimates).

We've had to use a dozen or so contractors in the last couple of years for a remodel of our previous home and we recently just purchased a brand new house so we have dealt with building contractors in that time as well. We had come to think that most all contractors were all about the money and very disorganized with questionable work, until we met Luke. He's like a throwback to the old days when tradesmen took pride in their work. We hired him to frame out our unfinished basement and then put up the drywall. Besides being a really nice guy with good ideas, he was always on time (which had always been an issue with the other contractors we've had do work for us). His pricing was reasonable and I guess most importantly, the quality of his work is incredible. We primed our basement last week and only found one screw head that wasn't mudded/sanded good. The basement is 1600 square feet so there are a bunch of screws and now that it's primed you can't even see where the studs are. We can touch up the one little spot easily enough. Wish he and his crew were the ones that did our house drywall. They were able to build us speaker boxes and a component cutout in the theater room as well as brace up certain places where we were going to hang things from the ceiling. Every time they left, our area was cleaner than when they first arrived and I'm pretty sure they might've taken away some trash from an electrical contractor that wasn't even their responsibility. I've recommended these guys to our friends and I can't recommend them highly enough to anyone looking to frame or drywall an area. So glad that I found them.

Luke and his team did an outstanding job on the dry wall repairs and reframing needed in my house. I had a list of small cracks and holes, plus ceiling damage due to a leaking roof. There was also a bathroom with a mix of old drywall and new to frame up. They arrived on time, did the work, cleaned up and came out the next day to do the final sand. They also took an old mirror off the wall and carried it to the curb for pickup. I would not call anyone else for future projects. I now have my drywall proffessionals. As an added bonus they are incredibly nice and I was very comfortable having them in the house.

Luke and his team came out after providing me estimates and agreeing to do the work. The team show up promptly on the stated date to hang the drywall in my garage as it was severely damaged from an overflowing toilet. They did the mud work and the sanding shortly afterwards. They did the drywall repairs in my basements as well, the door casings, baseboards in my mudroom, baseboards in my upstairs and, all the necessary painting. They cleaned the areas each day and Luke(the owner) showed up everyday to work and help as well. He even mopped my garage floor!! Luke and his team were very professional guys and I was very comfortable with having them in my home...Luke did everything that he said he would do, there was no "back peddling." After, I thought the job was complete, I discovered that they had missed a few items. I texted Luke that eve/night and he responded back saying that his guys would be there the next morning(Saturday) to fix it. Sure enough his guys showed up and took care of the issue! Luke was/is a man of word. I was very please with his work and his level of responsiveness. I absolutely would use him and his team again if need. Good job!

Called them and left voice mail to get a quote. Received call back within a few hours. Luke came by that evening and gave us a quote. We decided to go with them the following week. Gave him a call, the materials were delivered two days later. Luke placed the order and we were given the contact info for the supplier. We then called in to pay for the materials and arrange delivery. They were flexible with the time we needed and arrived within the hour of what was agreed upon. The crew came the following morning and installed all of the drywall. This was on a Friday. The following Monday Luke and crew came in to tape and apply the first coat of mud. The job was completed on Friday. Basement was left broom clean and all trash was hauled away. At this point we have primed all walls and ceilings and the quality of the drywall work is excellent. The whole process was painless and we are happy with the price we paid. We would highly recommend 3rd Generation for drywall.

It was good. It was great. They were fine. They did what I hired them to do and there were no problems.

Fair price, awesome quality, and they do everything they say they will do. They cleaned up everything very well and want to know of any problems so they can fix them. They made sure everything was good when all work was done and offered to fix any issues that come up related to drywall/paint.

Work was done as quoted on time. Luke and his crew were a pleasure to work with. Would use them in the future.

Luke gave me a excellent compeititve price; was great in explaining everything he and his crew would do; and started and ended the project on time. He's a very nice person, my wife and I felt very comfortable with him being in our home. We would recommend him to anyone needing work done on their home or business.
