+ 0 moreResolution: A Home Depot sub-contractor was hired to repair and re-do the door. The contractor stated that it was the worst 'botch-job' he had seen in his 20-years of work as a home builder. The sub-contractor removed the entire door frame, removed the dis-repair, and within 3 hours, the door and frame were installed perfectly. Resolution: Reliable Home Repair/Michael Spaziano was taken to court. Spaziano had nearly a dozen suits filed against him in the Gwinnett Court system alone. The judge heard the case, reviewed the photographs of the workmanship, and told Spaziano that it was one of the worst jobs he had ever seen. The judge awarded full refund of a money paid, removal and replacement costs of the deck, and filing fees. Resolution: A complaint was filed with the Better Business Bureau in 09/12. The complaint is currently being processed.
Description of Work: Reliable Home Repair/Michael Spaziano was hired to replace a back door and build a back-yard deck. Spaziano used pre-used, low-quality materials for the deck and the construction included unsupported deck boards, irregular spacing between boards, 1-inch gaps between some boards; warped boards, a combination of nails and deck screws that were drilled incorrectly; the end of the deck pulled out when stepped on. Spaziano took a brand new door ordered from Home Depot and proceeded to take three days to replace the door and frame. The final product: Gaps between the door frame and building structure; door would not close; leaked; draft.

+ 0 moreThey got paint all over my windows and made a mess. The shingles are now falling off. He’s lazy and doesn’t follow through. They didn’t thoroughly paint my house, they just spot painted. I am in the process of taking him to court.
