From the moment I spoke to the owner of the company about our ideas for a backyard fence (he answered my initial phone call) it was a great experience. We really appreciated Eric's help in designing our fence project, and helping us through all of the necessary details. When questions came up and changes were made, Eric and the office staff were professional and very knowledgeable about every aspect of the job. They were also prompt and on time with everything!

One week after visit and measurements, I had still not received an estimate and had to contact them to obtain it. Was the most expensive estimate I received (although not by much) and required the biggest deposit.

Everything went perfectly. They finished the job in one day and charged less than all the local Athens fence companies. They will be the company I call for my future fencing needs.

We had no complaints. They were reasonable. We got several estimates and they were the most reasonable. They were very efficient and did a good job. They did what we hired them to do.

The original call was answered the same day with an estimate the following day.. The job was set for 8 days later with a crew showing up and completed both jobs in 6 hours. No fuss, no problems...

They were very professional. the quotation was far more appealing than from another well-known local fence company. they scheduled the work quickly, completed it quickly. there was one area that we requested them to come back and do some additional work and they did, also quickly, and did not accept payment in full until we were satisfied. Overall, it was a good experience and we'll use them for future fence needs.

Fast, efficient, and accurate. We walked the perimeter in the morning and confirmed all the details. They went at it while I was at work. It was exactly as we discussed and completed within two days.

We recently moved into a new house we had built in Gainesville, Georgia. We wanted to have a fence installed around our back yard so our dog could use the yard to play , etc. The community where we moved had strict requirements for fence installations and we had to have our request approved by the ARC before we could proceed. I initially was given a price to install the fence by the landscape contractor for the community. The amount of the estimate was ridiculously high so i solicited estimates from 3 other fence installers who i selected from Angies List....all were A rated. Pennington Fence was one of those installers. Actually all of the Angies List installers were prompt in responding and gave me a well prepared and timely estimate. We were trying to get the fence estimate put together and the decision made before the house was actually finished so that i could apply to our ARC and get approval before we actually closed on the house, thereby being able to move forward with the project as soon as possible after we moved in. We lived about 125 miles from the location of the new house. Pennington fence people were all great to deal with, especially Katie and Eric. Their estimate included all of the detail i needed and their estimate was the lowest one i received! They went out of their way to accommodate our various requests to obtain the estimate without the benefit of their being able to visit the house. Finally we went to the house to check on progress and their estimator met us there and thoroughly explained the basis for their estimate, how the job would be done etc. I finally decided that they were the company i wanted to handle the job. They said they could proceed to order the fence as soon as i made a 50% deposit . Since i didnt have ARC approval i was hesitant to take that step. They told me that it would be about 2 1/2 weeks after i made the deposit to get the fence installed. I immediately used their estimate as the basis for our request to our ARC . As it turned out our request got bogged down in red tape until i followed up with a status request. The process was then accelerated and we were assured it would be approved. Based on that i made the deposit expecting the fence to be installed about 2-3 weeks later. I told Katie how much my wife was pressing me to get the fence installed and lo and behold, Katie emailed me the next day and said they would find a way to install the fence the following Friday! The installation team arrived on schedule and did a great job of installing the fence in all respects. My wife and i...and hopefully our dog...couldnt be happier with the job Pennington Fence did for us. They will be our go to fence company from now on!

The estimator from Pennington fence was very prompt and professional during the inspection. The quote wasn?t the lowest I received, but it was close and I felt comfortable with my interactions, so I selected them. Scheduling was fairly easy, and while the job did have to be rescheduled due to materials delays; they were able to accomplish the job within the time period I was originally told to expect, so I was happy. The new fence looks great and the team hauled away all of the junk from the old one.

The 2 man crew did an excellent job the fence looks great. A couple of minor issues, they did not arrive when promised and we were not informed of the issues. A lower A grade, an overall great experience. Thank you everyone

Installers arrived on Friday Dec. 20th, at 7:30 and commenced installation. Everything went smoothly, and they completed the fence by 6:30 the same day. They did a terrific job, and cleaned up after themselves. The fence matches our neighbor's in height and style. We feel very secure and the gates can be locked from either side. We highly recommend Pennington Fence for any addition to landscaping or security projects. Very professional.

They bid promptly on the job, gave us good notice of their arrival to do the work, and built a flawless fence. Workmanship was efficient and excellent. Cleanup was perfect. We were very pleased with the job.

They showed up on time for the estimate. Gave me the estimate before they left. The installation took place the following week. The crew arrived on time and completed the work in one day. They were very neat and cleaned up everything when they were through. I was quite happy with the installation.

Our experience with Pennington was excellent from the beginning to the end. Bruce was excellent providing a free estimate as promised. All employees were punctual and the front office was very polite and competent. The fence was installed in one day and is absolutely beautiful and perfect. The installers really know what they are doing and worked non-stop all day. I highly recommend Pennington for fencing. They are efficient, trustworthy and best of all, reasonably priced.

I worked with Eric to install an aluminum fence in the back yard. I wanted to keep my pups in, but not seclude myself from the beautiful scenery around my house. I had an excellent experience with Eric and the workmanship that Pennington Fence provided me with. Thanks!

The office staff was very courteous and professional. Processed my $320.00 deposit quickly -- emailed receipt. The office staff scheduled the work for 6/19 w/o issue. On Monday 6/17, I received a call that the work at my house had to be delayed due to rain, and could we reschedule for noon on 6/20 instead. I noted that the man who called me to reschedule seemed confused about the work that had agreed to be performed. I referred him to the gentleman that executed the estimate, and agreed to the reschedule. On Thursday, June 20, the workmen did not arrive to perform the work, as previously agreed. And, I received no call from Pennington Fence informing me of any change in plans. So, I called the office and spoke with the office staff there. The young woman at the office informed me that the workmen's previous engagement was running over, so they would not make it to my house until 4pm or later. The workmen did finally arrive about 4pm, but had no idea of what work was to be performed, despite the fact that a Pennington Fence employee had been on-site and documented what was to be done, so it could be quoted. I referred the Pennington Fence employee who had no idea what to do to his supervisor for an answer. Instead, the workmen simply left, without any further communication. I both called to leave a message at Pennington Fence, and followed through with a detailed email, neither of which got a response. Instead, I got an email receipt that my deposit had been refunded. This is unacceptable for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the total lack of communication back to me. Also, there was no attempt to make this right. In the end, I wasted two to three weeks working with a company that was too disorganized to simply execute on a detailed estimate of work upon which I signed off. While the price of the engagement was no particular bargain, the lost time is lost money for me. I would not recommend doing business with Pennington Fence based on my experience as described above.

, They came on a Friday morning, By noon they had all the posts installed, removed the posts from the previous owners and part of the 2X4s. By 3:00 the had finished everything, cleaned up and ready to go. Raul and Francisco were absolutely wonderful! I would recommend them to anyone.

An estimate of services was obtained & the work was performed very quickly. No complaints-start to finish.

I'm very pleased with the finished product: it's attractive and feels sturdy. The two installers worked quickly and completed the work in one day. The work site was very clean when they left.

I could not be more happy with my new fence! Daniel came out and explained everything in detail so that I was not taken by surprise when they came out. I explained that my husband was out of town and I was hoping to have it completed before he came home and they were very accommodating. I got 171ft of privacy fence to have a safe back yard for my kids but also because I had someone look into my windows one night. They were very understanding and came out in a timely fashion. I also got two gates, one 6ft and the other 8ft, and I am so glad I chose the 6x6 posts! It is beautiful and now I have a safe place for my kids to play. I was very impressed with the professionalism of everyone involved and when I called the lady on the phone was very sweet! The price I paid was very fair considering the work involved. The actual job took a full day but I wasn't worried about that. It was actually pushed off a day because of rain but I was told that the schedule just shifts back when that happens. I cannot rave enough about this company! From start to finish everything was great! If I ever needed something like this done again they would be my first call.
