They were able to fit me in during their busy day. Since it's a heating issue and it's cold outside, they made sure they could get someone out right away. He explained what went wrong with the part and was able to get everything working great.

A JT Bolton technician came to our house, spent about 40 minutes, replace a capacitor and charged us $304. It is too much.

Contacted JR Bolton by email-had to send several requests. Finally dealt with Scott who is a really great guy. He removed the old fireplace surround and prepped the area to have new faux stone applied. He contracted a stone company who appllied the faux stone which took most of the day. The stone looked really good. Neither worker spoke very good English which was frustrating when I had questions. Then we waited 5 days later than we were told for the surround to be installed. The paint job was silly and a professional painter had to come out a week later and repaint it. Now, we are very happy with it. In summary, there were several hiccups but it finished good.

The service tech was very professional, kept the area clean, thoroughly cleaned out both fireplaces, explained how to work both of them, since we moved here from out of state I did not know who to call , Angies List helped me a lot.

worked with them 4 years ago, and the experience was very good. I worked with them again this year and this time everything was very bad. I went to the store and chose an electrical fire place at the internet together with one of the employees because they didn't have the model I wanted at the showroom. After several phone calls, they finally come to my house and did a very very bad instillation (they don't even used a level) and the fireplace they installed was a different model that the one I payed for. I didn't accept the fireplace, they removed it and left a big hole in my wall.

Excellent. Charles, the technician, was there on time, performed the work and was really a delight to deal with. I would definitely use them again.

They were prompt, repaired the air conditioner quickly, and did not charge for the part in warranty or the service call itself. I had no idea the part was in warranty and truly assumed I would be paying for everything. J R Bolton proved their value to me on many levels. Their reputation and reliability is most trustworthy and I confidently recommend them.

I used Angie's List to seek out a good HVAC Service provider and found JR Bolton. They had a teaser coupon that was not going to be applicable to my engagement, so I asked for a similiar coupon discount and they worked with me. They did an outstanding job and provided the most professional advice. I look forward to using them again both at my rental home and my personal residence.

Their price was fair, especially given the excellent service. The system was installed in one day and they called a week late to follow up on how it was working. Would definitely use them again if needed. My husband is thrilled that we finally have A/C in the basement and believe me...it is COOL down there!

I did not utilize them for further work even though I had a maintenance contract in place with them on the two units. It is just that their pricing, to me, was exorbitantly high. I just moved to the area, so I didn’t know anybody else at the time. They were very professional, and cleaned up wonderfully. It is just that they were expensive. They have done great work when they were in here and I cannot knock down the quality of their work. They have done a great job on what they have done. They were very professional, very punctual, and the work they did was good quality work. I actually found them on Angie's List, but I am no longer using them. I am using others. As a matter of fact, I have replaced one of the units for a significantly lesser amount of money. On the quote, what they put together was that I needed several things. I had other quotes coming in and all of them said that I didn’t have to replace all of it. I got what I had to have replaced completed, so they were taking advantage of me. I won’t use them again because I got to trust who I am working with.

We were very happy with the selection, advice, and installation. JR Bolton is a little expensive but we feel like we got value for what we paid.

Spent over $200 to diagnose and "service" gas lights. They still do not work. They will charge me $300 plus parts to actually do the repairs. Of course they don't have the parts with them. $200+ in and nothing to show for it. Disappointed.

Professionalism was evident throughout the process. They were very focused on their work and checked and re-checked and tested and retested until the duct work joints/connections were secure and distributing the air evenly throughout the upstairs rooms. The unit now cools effectively. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome or a more professional competent organization.

They came out and did a complete work up on everything. I have been very satisfied with the results of the heating and air-conditioning. I have not compared their price with anyone else but their price is fair. They would be coming in the spring for the service.

I continue to use them to service my fireplace and for routine maintenance. I felt they were very good. The sales staff were great, gave me several options and the price was reasonable. I've had no problems. I thought there was a problem once, but ended up not being one, but they came out, showed me what is was and didn't charge me for the visit which I thought was generous.

We had a similar problem last year with our gas logs turning off a few minutes after lighting and JR Bolton came out, cleaned the unit and it worked fine through the winter. We called them again when we experienced the same problem this year. The technician came out at the appointed time, cleaned the logs and they appeared to be working, although he suggested that a part (thermistor) might need replacing. A few minutes after he left the fire shut off and continued to malfunction. When I called, there didn't seem to be any urgency in resolving the problem, and in fact despite the fact that this was a cold winter, I didn't hear anything from them until almost a month later, to say that they were still trying to locate the part and then a couple of weeks later to let me know it was no longer available. At this point I brought another company in, who recommended replacing the unit which I did.

He has some really great ideas but they weren?t in our price range right now. He recommended things like a tankless water heater which I would love. He did a good job with the fireplace but it was really basic. I think he was very knowledgeable but the price points were too high for things that I would like. My husband dealt with him and he liked him. He showed up on time and did what he said he was going to do.

It was a good experience. They did a real good job. They are always professional and timely when they come out. We used them in 2009 to do the upstairs. They have always done a real good job with the clean up.

Bolton was easy to work with on getting an estimate. Most AC contractors didn't seem to know what a ductless system is and had little or no experience with them. Eventually we found 6 companies who seemed qualified. Bolton seemed very familiar with the product and said they install many of them. They all proved to be the the cheapest (one company was actually twice the price of Bolton), so we gave them the work. They showed up on time and completed the job satisfactorily in one day. The sales rep also showed up during the day to check up on progress and be sure things were going OK. After the installation she checked with us again and made sure we had all the documents needed for tax credits and rebates. The only slight problem I have is that I thought Bolton was going to install a conduit on the outside of the house to hide the piping, but I guess I misunderstood that. It would look much neater if that had been done, but that's my only complaint.

We were very impressed with Jeff Bolton's attention to detail and quality of work. He was thorough in explaining everything before work began so there were no surprises. The project was expensive, but after a year, we are still amazed at the comfort of our home. We are very happy with the result.

Work was done really good and the service guy explained the steps and options I had in detail. Although maybe a little expensive the result was very good and especially with gas it is more important to have a real professional than to save a dime.

Our gas logs had basically stopped working - we would light the pilot light and get the logs to light, then in minutes the whole thing would turn off. The person scheduling the technician visit worked with me to find a convenient time, then called the night before to confirm. Turned out the technician was ahead of schedule and called to make sure arriving early would not be an inconvenience. He was very professional, efficient and knowledgeable; completed the service promptly and left the gas logs working better than they had in the years we have been in the house. We plan to get this company to come back yearly to service the gas logs. The cost seemed a little high but is worth it for peace of mind - and a warm room!

After checking with the Better Business Bureau and Angie's List, we called J. R. Bolton Services for a quote on a heating and air conditioning system. Jeff Bolton came out, measured the total square footage of the house, the size and type of glass in the windows and doors, amount and type of insulation in walls and attic. He then determined the optimum heating and air conditioning system and e-mailed information on the proposed system along with the proposed prices the next day. He also made recommendations on changes we could do ourselves to make the house more energy efficient. We gave them the job. The installation crew came out the day promised, was on time and the installers were very professional, neat and courteous. They hauled off the old system and cleaned up all debris. It was a flawless installation. It was installed on schedule and is performing better than expected. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone interested in heating and air conditioning services.

THIS COMPANY IS AMAZING. FOR OVER A YEAR, THEY HELPED US GET THE LAST GASP OUT OF OUR FAILING HVAC SYSTEM; ALWAYS ARRIVING SOON AFTER OUR REQUESTS FOR SERVICE. WHEN THE UNIT FINALLY DIED, SOMEONE CAME OUT WITHIN A DAY TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE ON A NEW SYSTEM. JEFF WAS VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. WITHIN A DAY, WE HAD FINANCING IN PLACE, AND THE WORK WAS SCHEDULED TO START THE NEXT DAY. THE 2-MAN TECH CREW ARRIVED ON TIME, WORKED HARD ON A SWELTERING, HUMID DAY AND FINISHED ALL THE WORK IN ONE DAY. THEY, TOO, WERE POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY CLEANED UP ALL THE RESULTING DEBRIS, AND TOOK AWAY THE OLD UNIT FOR US. THEY EXPLAINED ALL THE FEATURES OF THE NEW SYSTEM, AND SHOWED US HOW TO PERFORM THE ROUTINE MAINTENANCE ON IT. WE COULD NOT BE MORE SATISFIED WITH THE QUALITY AND PROMPTNESS OF THEIR SERVICE.
