The attention to detail was unbelievable. Before the contract, a representative (Edwin) came to the house. I could tell that he was just as particular as I am. We discussed symmetry, where the tiles would start, and other details that I had not considered. He gave his opinion on options, and ensured it would look as I wanted. And it did. The installer was very detailed and if he didn't like the way a tile was set, he would reset until it was perfect. The job did take a little longer than originally anticipated, but I believe that was because they wanted it to be perfect. They did not increase the labor rates. The installers were courteous, clean and respectful. I would absolutely use Hillman again without hesitation.
Description of Work: Fireplace surround. Tiled from floor to ceiling the entire surround including the wrap-around side walls. The tiles were heavy 12x24 and placed vertical with a brick joint pattern.
