Big Frog Electric

I called them and made an appointment. They apologized for making me wait a week but frankly I'd be concerned about companies that weren't busy. The installed called before he came over - a little earlier than the appointment but that was ok with me. He was very professional and explained everything. He installed an electrical surge protector which came with a cable TV protector and a telephone line protector too - 3 separate but attached units. They came with a lifetime guarantee on all attached equipment (some surge protectors only guarantee items with motors - dishwasher, fridge, a/c). He explained all of this and even changed some screws at the electric box which were code violations. I couldn't be happier. THANKS!

Two people from Big Frog Electric came. I was charged more than the price of the Big Deal. When they got here, there was a little bit of confusion as to what was covered. They needed to go to Home Depot to get parts, in order to tie in the new exhaust from the new exhaust fan into an existing exhaust fan vent. That was $20.00, that I had to come up with, cash, to reimburse them for the parts. That was a surprise. What I purchased with my Big Deal was the installation of an exhaust fan with light. So I told them where I wanted it. I said that I wanted it inside our shower in our master bath. They had to go up into the ladder a little bit. They had to be in my master bathroom. They cut a square hole. What they realized, very early on, was, "Well, you don't have an existing vent there". I thought that was a little bit silly, because I was like, "If there was an existing vent there, I wouldn't need you." There was a little bit of confusion, but I felt like they were being somewhat fair. All they really wanted was reimbursing for the parts that they had to buy from Home Depot. It still was not a welcome $20.00 to spend. This was my first time using them. They were very polite and I think they were polite because, obviously, people live and die on reviews, in Angie's List. But it was an uncomfortable beginning to the process, but they finished well. I actually think that the pull on that fan is diminished. It's not a very powerful suction. I think that's directly related to the fact that they had to tie into a second vent. They put it on the same circuit, so when you turn on the one fan, another fan comes on and they're both pulling at the same time.

The guy was thorough and knew what he was doing. He advised on whether or not original fixture was adequate support. Decided one was and one was not. He did the work and cleaned up afterwards. I plan to use him again for other work.

Problems getting correct parts delivered created delays.

He was punctual, he did an excellent job. He was very courteous. Very nice young man, very helpful.

The technician arrived on time, was very professional and friendly. He did an excellent job, neat and orderly and was careful to clean up after he was done. The new panel was properly installed and completed for the advertised price. I would use Big Frog again for electrical work.

Big Frog Electric were excellent. They were on time, quick in terms of the work and everything was clean. I had something extra done and he accommodated that also.

What I like about them is the fact that the personnel was able to get it on schedule unbelievably. Probably after a week when I purchased the deal. It was a pretty quick turn around after i purchased the voucher. I made a call and they scheduled the work I believe the following week. I was pretty impressed with that. They also showed up on the appointed time and date. It was a good experience and I would definitely use them again.

It turned out. That was wonderful. I had him replace my old ceiling fan with a different one. I will be using him for another job, I was very happy with him.

Big Frog Electric was absolutely great. He was so responsive. In fact, any time I call him, he answers the phone or two minutes later, he calls right back when he's on the phone. He's a really quick guy and very polite. He is kind of both professional and friendly. He was very accurate. He explained everything. They checked everything out inside and outside. They explained how they would do it with all the kinds of details. They sent me a written estimate. And also, there were some questions with some damage outside the house. The siding was a little bit melted to one place and there happened to be an outlet on the inside. He totally took that apart and checked that and made sure it wasn't electrical-related. He was here on the dot.

A very chatty, neatly attired serviceman arrived at the scheduled time and after reviewing the task and answering my questions quickly replaced the non-working fan in the den. He explained that a part required to replace the ceiling light with a ceiling fan in my bedroom could not be completed because he did not have a required part and we scheduled his return to complete the work for Friday, June 26, 2013; he did not remove the useless fan from my den. A different serviceman; neat, friendly, but all business, arrived on Friday. He quickly assessed the situation; replaced the light with fan, replaced the dimmer switch which could not work with the ceiling fan;. He was very thorough in his response to my questions; he worked neatly, disposed of his replaced items as well as the items left in my den by the previous serviceman. I am pleased with the work and I highly recommend Big Frog Electric. I will use them again.

The electrician Vadeem showed up on time, called about 30 minutes before coming, brought all the supplies. Was very courteous and a thorough professional and did a great job. He laid down tarps to catch any dirt and debris from the installation process and cleaned up after finishing the job. Completed the work on time, I would definitely use this electrician again.

I purchased a "Big Deal" from Angie's list for installation of lighting fixtures or ceiling fans by Big Frog Electric for $99.00. The electrican was punctual, very professional and did an excellent job replacing my old lighting fixture with our new more modern one. I am really happy with the installation and with the service that we recieved. I would definitely use Big Frog Electric again and can recommend them without hesitation for excellent work and professionalism.

From start to finish, I was extremely impressed with this company. I thought by having an Angie's List coupon that they wouldn't be responsive or that I would be put on the bottom of the list to get work done. That was ABSOLUTELY NOT the case! James made it easy to schedule an appointment that worked with my schedule, was easily accessible and extremely communicative. I am very pleased with their professionalism and work and would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

He called when he was 30 minutes away. He was on time for my scheduled appointment. He arrived and took the time to understand my needs. He counseled me and gave some consultation regarding my choice. He then purchased the necessary materials based on the options i selected. He completed the work with quality and continued timing. He also advised me on additional items i may need to address in the near future.

The worker, who said his name was V, was polite, punctual, friendly, and good at his work! He explained what he was doing and why, and answered all my questions. The lights look and work great. I will definitely use this company again.

I found Big Frog Electric through its Angie's list deal for ceiling fan installation. James came out and installed the fans. We also had him perform some additional preventative maintenance items based upon his recommendation. I have found James helpful and skillful in his trade. He is direct and his candor is appreciated. He arrived on time and ready to install the lights. There was a little bit of a problem working around the beams in the kitchen. He was able to install them to my satisfaction and they work great.

Big Frog Electric did great. They were punctual and got there early. They found couple of old issues and resolved all of those.

They came out, and did a great job. They cleaned up everything. The price they quoted me was the price I was actually charged. They did an outstanding job. I got a quote from another company for the same job, and their quote was $1700.

Fantastic job. They came prepared, listened to what we wanted, came up with solutions that fit our situation. Very knowledgeable, very professional, very easy to work with.
