Big Frog Electric

We purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for installation of 6 recessed lights at $119 per pair. After several months' procrastination on our part, we called Big Frog in mid-September. The individual I talked with was very friendly, and indicated almost immediate availability to come to do the job. A team of three came punctually on the appointed day and time. The team leader (whose name I don't recall) helped us in figuring out where to install the lights as well as what to do about the large traditional overhead light currently in the kitchen area. His advice was excellent and much appreciated. He then turned the installation job over to another member of the team, who removed the old ceiling light, patched the area where the light had been, and installed the six new recessed lights. He did a great job, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. We had actually them to leave the old light for us to have someone else remove, so its removal was a bonus for us. The area will need to be repainted, but he did such a good job that we don't feel any urgency. Overall, we received an excellent product at a bargain price accompanied by high-quality customer service. We see now why Big Frog has received such good reviews. We won't hesitate to use them when we next have a need they might address.

Excellent. Vadym was so professional and polite and helpful. He did a fantastic, immaculate job. I love how the lights add to my living room. I'd use Big Electric . again, and would highly recommend them.

It went great they swapped out the panel, then identified what each breaker supplies what and filled out the new panel's label. Then said thank you and were on there way. I plan to hire them next year for a feed run and panel, in a garage, I want to have built in my backyard!

When you see all but one "A," it's redundant to provide "all the details." The only "B" I gave him was because he got caught in Atlanta's morning traffic. We live close to downtown, and when it RAINS as it did this morning, all bets on transit times are off. I've been in Atlanta since 1960, and this is just a fact of life over which no person has control!

This is a GREAT company. This was our first purchase on Angie's List, one of the Big Deals, for can lighting installation. The price Big Frog charged for the job beat two other quotes by several hundred dollars and Big Frog got to the job sooner than the other two quotes were available to start. The electricians who showed up were highly professional, friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They were able to answer all of our general electrical questions and performed the work quickly. The work itself was excellent and has completely transformed the two rooms where we had the lights installed. The crew left the job without a hint of a mess. After we saw the excellent work they did with my can lighting, we asked them to install a large chandelier that has been sitting in our dining room for over a month. The very next morning it was installed way up in the two-story foyer tray ceiling. Once again, Big Frog's price was about half of what we had been quoted by several others. Finally, we asked about another lighting project outside and they gave us tips on how we could accomplish the same thing inexpensively without paying to have it done. This is the way business /should/ be, but is (in my experience) so rare in the contracting world. Thank you Big Frog and thank you also Angie's List. I highly recommend this company to anyone in need of electrical and lighting work and definitely plan to use them again myself the next time a need arises.

Big Frog Electric send a young man to install the fan .".Big Deal Said Fan with Light .".. but the technician said they only exchange a new fan for what is already there ... so my fan has no light ....But that's OK I have a light fixture right over the tub. The Technician did a fine job , left no mess and it all works well !!

The representative arrived on time and went to work immediately. I had already purchased the fans with lights, and he opened the boxes and determined he had everything he needed. My home is relatively new so the wiring for the ceiling fans and the light switches had been installed by the builder, so he told me it would be an easy install as there was no additional work to do. It took him about 1.5 hours to install both fans; he then had me come upstairs to see how they were operating and I was very pleased with the results. The technician was also very neat and put all the garbage back in the empty fan boxes.

The Tech was prompt and professional and he did a Great Job! He also took the time to clean up after his self. I'm very pleased with the Service and the deal! Well worth the money!!

Very pleased all around. Did a fantastic and complete job for both projects. Took pride in their work and all members and owner were friendly and knowledgeable. I will employ them for all my work when we are ready for new projects.

He is wonderful, I had a lot of questions. He explained every question, was very knowledgeable. Came out twice and did not charge me extra! Went 10 times beyond what I had expected.

Discussed a couple of options where to place the lights. The best layout was not feasible because 1 light had an obstruction; however, the final placement was workable. The only negative I have, visually I think the light bulb fits too far up from the ceiling. There is too much white metal showing from the bulb to ceiling. I should have done research as to what the various recessed lighting looked like. These may be the only ones, they do serve in giving me the light I need in the kitchen.

Though he showed up an hour late, he quickly got to work and finished by the time we needed him to. I've never seen a contractor work so efficiently and neatly. He covered everything and drilled into the ceiling in a way that wouldn't dirty the house. In and out and we have two working lights. Even better, his attitude and professionalism were impeccable. He was such a nice guy we were happy to have him around. We'll definitely use him again.

The electric work was done very quick and the electric recess lightning looks good.. I would call Big Frog again .

He was great, very honest, and could have charged me more but gave me solid advice instead. I am planning to contact him for installation of total house smoke alarms

Not well Fan not placed where I really wanted it. Had to put where he wanted it. Because he did not want to install where I chose. Has not called up for follow through he is still suppsed to install one fan that he said was missing parts so he could not install.

Great work for a wonderful price. Very professional. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

They were on time,fast, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. It looks great! I'm very pleased.

The electrician was suppose to arrive between 8 and 9 AM, but he called at 8:45 AM saying he was stuck in traffic and would be at my house around 9:30 AM and he was. After reviewing the situation he started turning off the existing breakers and the sparks started flying. He said that it was just a matter of time before the panel would start a fire. He finished up around 2:30 PM. Several weeks later I noticed that the main breaker was a 200 AMP breaker but the wire coming in from the meter to the panel was rated for 150 AMP. I called the owner of the company questioning if this was correct and up to the standards on the National Code. He told that it was and I asked for the section in the National Code that covered this. I'm still waiting on an answer.

Good work, done promptly. The previous workmen had accidentally 'fried' the remote control on the fan and they replaced it without having to purchase a new motor.

I purchased this service as a pre-packaged Angie's Big Deal, which included a "standard" bathroom vent fan/light unit and the labor to install it. When I called to schedule an appointment, the phone rep was courteous, professional, and thorough. She provided flexible options for day and time, which worked very well for my schedule. The service tech, Vadym, was equally courteous and professional. He called about 1/2 hour before arriving, just as the phone rep said he would. He also arrived at the start of the 2 hour window that I agreed to with the phone rep. He installed the product within a reasonable amount of time, thoroughly cleaned up when he was done, demonstrated the operation of the fan and light, and explained the small differences between the installed product and the one that he replaced. The only issue that caught me by surprise was that the vent fan's visible housing was slightly smaller than the original fan, which required Vadym to spackle the ceiling to cover small spaces near the corners of the fan housing. After it dries, I will also have to add another thin layer of spackle, sand, and paint, which was not anticipated when I ordered this Big Deal. If Vadym had volunteered to return to do this himself to accommodate for installing a smaller unit, this experience would have been 100% perfect. However, considering the relatively low total price paid for parts and labor, it wasn't a big concern for me. I have had a lot of contractors come through my home and none before now have impressed me with a clear commitment to customer satisfaction from the initial phone call through the post work clean up. Big Frog Electric clearly cares about he impressions that they leave at every contact point throughout the customer experience. I recommend them and would certainly be willing to do business with them again.

Installer was very nice. I felt comfortable with him. He was prompt and when I'm ready to have another TV mounted later this fall I will call this company.
