Big Frog Electric

It turned out very well. They came out and did a good job. I would use them again. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. I'm very pleased with them. We swapped out things because there were some unique parts to the situation. We both kept our part of the deal. We ran into some challenges. In other words, they added on some extra things that would've cost me more. They also had to damage the ceiling in order to get it done because of the way the house was constructed. There was no way anyone could've done better. They swapped out the extra expense against what it would cost me to repair it. Overall, they did as good of a job as anybody could do. Sometimes you're going to have to do some drywall repair. In my case, because of the way my house is constructed, it was unavoidable. They did a good job. This was the first time that I'd used them and I would use them again. Everything was excellent all the way down the line. Scheduling was excellent. They showed up, did the job, and was very nice about it. They were flexible and reasonable. I couldn't ask for anything more. It was a very good experience.

Called to confirm appointment. Called when in route. Arrived on time. Very good communication. Both men were very professional and courteous. Work was done to my satisfaction in a very efficient manner. They made sure that they cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely use again.

Very punctual- arrived on time, efficient work. The installers were communicative and helpful. The ceiling fans work well after 2+ months. The reason for the B in the cost was that the additional cost for the 18 ft. ceiling install was more than the overall cost of the two fan install purchase. While all installers seem to add for high ceilings the additional cost still was high.

The electrician, Tim , called ahead to confirm he was on the way for our appointment. He arrived on time and was very polite and knowledgeable; we had an older TV and very old cable box. The TV looks great; I'm very happy with the job. I've had numerous electricians do work for me over the years and I would definitely call Big Frog for future work. If there was an A+ rating available I'd give them that.

I used an Angie's list $99 coupon to have Big Frog install 3 under-cabinet kitchen light panels. Even though the coupon was technically for the installation of ceiling fans, the electrician had no issue whatsoever. Vladimir showed up (early) and was done within 45 minutes. Job was done quickly and professionally. I have since used Big Frog again for another job (installation of outside trip lights). Different electrician this time (Alan) but equally professional and personable.

They were very easy to work with and did an excellent job. We will definitely call them for any future electrical needs.

Alan Aboshamaa was the electrician. He finished his previous job early and was able to come out to my house earlier than scheduled (he called first to ask if that was okay). That was great, as it was New Year's Eve and I had plans later in the day. What really concerned me is that Alan made a series of inappropriate sexual comments to me while at my home performing the electricial inspection. Specifically: He referenced my weight and used the words "heavier girls." He asked me how old I was, how much I paid for my house, and if I would be living there alone. He said I was "very attractive." He made a hand gesture demonstrating a woman's breasts and said that most men noticed those, but that he noticed a woman's smile. He said that I had pretty eyes. Noticing the windows and French doors in my home, he commented how easy it would be for a peeping Tom to see inside. When he was inside my large master bathroom checking the outlets, he made a comment that he didn't like to be naked in such a large space. He repeatedly mentioned that other female clients had made passes at him or had disrobed for him. I should have asked him to leave my home immediately, but I was so shocked and taken aback that I didn't say anything to him. I have never had anyone (much less a service provider) make such repeated inappropriate comments to me. I did call Big Frog Electric and speak to the owner, James Crofutt. He was instantly apologetic and said that such behavior would not be tolerated. I said that while Alan had done a good job on the inspection itself, the comments and innuendo were absolutely unacceptable. I understand it's not fair to label a company as bad due to the actions of one employee, and that is not my intention. I told James that I was willing for another electrician from the company to come out and make the needed repairs, and James offered to come out himself on a date of my choosing. We made an appointment for later this month, and I'll post a review of James' work at that time.

This young man hands down has to be one of the best I have ever hired. His knowlege and experience and perfection of his work showed me that he knew what he was doing in the first few seconds. I will have him back again.for sure. It is a good feeling when you know the job is being done the right way and you will not be ripped off. I would give them 5 stars all the way.

We haven’t had any trouble with the work they did and they came out quickly and they seemed very professional. The scheduling was pretty easy and they were very flexible and accommodating. They got the job done very quickly. They cleanup was great and you couldn’t even tell they were there.

Arrived a little late. Technician told me I would have to pay $99 additional to install a switch. He claimed the Angies List deal specifically excluded the switch but I showed him the fine print of the deal and it said nothing about extra charges for a switch. He called the owner who approved the switch for no additional charge. Not sure how we would have added canned lights without a switch. All went well and the techician was very professional and kept everything clean. We are very happy with Big Frog.

The crew experience a couple of little glitches, but handled everything in a very professional manner. We are thrilled with the final product and will use this company again!!

We are very happy with the service. We called and received a prompt response. He offered us the Angie's List Special Price although technically the offer had already expired. We were able to send photos of the old electrical box so that he knew what he needed to bring. The house is almost 100 years old, so the photograph didn't tell all; and there were some extra things needed. He and a partner were working together. One gentleman was sent for the supplies while James continued to work. (I appreciate my time being valued.) He arrived promptly, worked quickly and cleaned up thoroughly. In addition to the panel switch, he told us where the wiring should be upgraded (without attempting to sell us more service) for optimum safety. His honest work is appreciated.

We purchased the tv mount deal from Angie's List on 12/06/13. I contacted the provider on the 12/09/13 and he answered the call and told me he would call me right back in a few minutes. About an hour or so later a gentleman named Mike called and left a message with my wife. She relayed the message to me and I called him right back. It went to voice mail so I provided my cell number. I didn't hear back from him so I called several more times over the next several days but still I haven't received a call back.

We had purchased a coupon for a Big Deal. I called and spoke with Michael who was very nice and it was easy to schedule an appointment with him. Alan, the ex- military guy who came out, out was very friendly and did a great job! There were some problems with the equipment and they had to come back. It was at no fault of theirs and they still came back out with no additional cost. I have no complaints with the company or service.

It turned out that the new ones couldn't go where I wanted them, because of pipes in the ceiling. Tim worked hard at finding where they could go, trying to not only give the darkest spot a light but also making sure the pattern of the lights on the ceiling wasn't totally asymmetrical. I was very pleased with his concern and am happy with the result.

He came right on time, put down a drop cloth, installed lights quickly and then checked my circuit breakers. "V." was my person and he was professional and quick. I now have a new kitchen which I'm loving!

Replaced electrical Curcuit Breaker Panel. "V" arrived promptly as arranged, was very courteous and knowledgeable and did an excellent job.

I purchased $99 special to install an outdoor weather protected AC outlet. |Electrician from Big Frog was open to my preference of location of the outlet and advised as to why certain locations would be suitable. He was careful, knowledgeable and conscientious. I am very satisfied.

It worked out very good. They worked quickly and they left absolutely no mess. We already have the right electrical connections, in fact, the guy said that sometimes people buy the deal and they don't have the light fixture and they want to replace it with a fan that takes more electrical. Since we already have the fan, switches, and everything in both rooms, they came in and assembled the fan. They installed them and took the old fan down.

Big Frog Electric is my first choice for anything electrical. I am a repeat customer. James takes the time to ensure his company meets your needs and is flexible enough to accommodate jobs both big and small. For this case, I needed some general minor repairs and installation. His team came, quickly assessed the need, provided a reasonable rate, and performed the work quickly and efficiently. It is nice to have found somebody we trust. Great job Big Frog Electric.

They broke my fan glass shade while working and gave me a 20.00 credit but the shade is going to cost us 39.00. Not happy about that but the rest was fine.
