Big Frog Electric

We've spoken through email a few times and when I asked how much it would cost overall, there were going to be additional charges. I contacted Angie's List to get a refund for the Big Deal. I didn't think it was a good deal if there were additional charges but if I need to in the future, I may think of using this company for other projects.

There were no troubles with scheduling and no additional costs. Two technicians came out for the job. One was more experienced and the other was more of an assistant and newer to the business. They were both good and everything went well.

Arrived on time as scheduled, did a good job, exactly as advertised.

I decided that I don't need the deal.

They came out and gave me a quote of a job that included offer and extra work. Great advice and very affordable. Very happy about this service and the Angies List deal.

Everything went well. This is the second time we used them.

there was no electricity in our rental apartaments. Tenant tried to fix it by resettting the breaker but the problem did not get fixed. We made an appointment with James to check this out. He was on time for the appoinment. It turns out that our tenant did not reset the breaker properly. James did that for us for free, He did not even bill the tranvel charges. very satisfied with the whole experience.

Scheduling was a snap. James showed up exactly on time. Extremely professional. Performed the job perfectly. Why use anyone else?

Big Frog came out and removed my old fluorescent light in the kitchen pantry and installed 2 recessed lights. Every thing went well. They were very professional and efficient. I would use them again in the future!

Guys showed up on time and did the entire job significantly quicker than expected. No complaints. I will call Big Frog first the next time I need electrical work done. Guys were very knowledgable and professional.

The Frogs ferreted out the problem with the unlit exterior can lights. Original to the house, the can lights were uncovered thus exposed to the elements. Some were rusted in place making replacement of bulbs impossible and one was not working at all. The Frogs replaced the lights which involved enlarging the opening, re-wiring the cans and then installing the new can lights, with covers. The area was cleaned up well before they left taking all debris with them. All in all, the replacement took less than an hour and cost $75 per light, which included the cost of the light. I thought it was a great price. Frog has done other jobs for us,including inspecting our electrical panel. When other companies quoted thousands with gloom and doom possibilities, Big Frog gave a more tempered evaluation that didn't cost nearly as much and accomplished the job. I trust their opinion and the quality of their work and have recommended the to others and would definitely call upon them again.

Scheduling was easy; they just sent me a message with the time and were pretty responsive. They installed the panel and everything looks good.

He was originally a no show for his appointment after a family emergency on his side. When we were able to reschedule, however, he was on time, the work was outstanding, the price was excellent, and I would definitely use them again.

They were great. After a horribly failed attempt to get this work done by another provider and a bunch of my time wasted (see my review of "Ideal Electric") I found Big Frog Electric on Angie's List and gave them a call. They came out exactly when scheduled, immediately understood a rather complicated set of projects, and were ready to do the work that very same day. They were very professional - explaining everything they were doing before they did it - and they never complained about the fact that the project involved a crawl space and some other assorted twists and turns. The price was very fair for the labor and some of the non-standard parts that were involved. I have been looking for a "go to" electrician since my former electrician retired. I have found one in Big Frog.

Scheduling was a bit hairy, but otherwise the service was great! Once we finally made contact to schedule, the work was completed in a very timely manner. We are very pleased with the outcome of the mounting. Looks great, very clean, and quickly done. Would definitely use Big Frog Electric in the future.

Installed a mount for a flat screen TV. Took approximately 10 minutes to complete. Left some debris from job behind. Felt the price was a little high for 10 minutes of work.

They did a good job! They did the work quickly and did exactly what we discussed.

It turned out very well. I am very happy with the way they mounted my TV. There were additional fees because I needed a longer cord than what came in the Big Deal to hook the TV into the wall. They had to drill a hole in the wall to put an outlet in and mount the TV. I may have used a slightly upgraded mount for the job too. They put the TV in once and I thought it was too high so they moved it for me. They were eager and willing to make adjustments for me.

Fantastic, they arrived on time brought sufficient help and did a bang up job.

These guys were great! The electrician arrived promptly and proceeded to make the complicated task look easy. I was concerned initially that the job wouldn't be done before I went to work, but it was finished in perfect timing. It has been several weeks since the installation and we have had no problems. I will definitely use them again!
