I shopped around some electrical work I am having done and called several highly rated names from Kudzu and Angie's list. The variation in pricing was almost double. I was skeptical of Big Frog at first because they seemed to inexpensive which made me wonder where they cut corners. Remember you get what you pay for. Well, I did a new panel with them and they listened to what I want and even though it was not their recommended panel they did it because it fit my needs. They showed up on time, did a fantastic job and cleaned up after they were done. These guys were personable and were like your friends. I got more than what I paid for and how they do it is by not having fancy trucks with big logos on them and running a lean tight operation. They followed up and were awesome. I would use them again in a second and would highly recommend them!

It went according to plan. My electricity was off for 2-3 hrs but they had prepared me for that in advance. I'm thrilled to have the new updated box at such a good deal. Super nice guys and very professional. I will definitely call them when I have a need for future electrical work. We discussed my electrical wishlist and their quotes were very reasonable.

I can't be any happier with the service. I had many questions before the service and they were very nice answering everything i asked with plenty of detail and simple enough for me to understad. They were accomodating of our time limitations to find the perfect appointment time. They came on time and did a very profesional and clean work.

The provider advertised an electrical panel swap-out. Instread, they offered to install a subpanel for the same promotion instead. The quality was good, but the installer didn't label the circuit breakers in the sub-panel. Also, the provider never contacted me after the service was performed to ask me about my experience. I felt that the installer was a "little short" with me at times when I had questions. Maybe he was having a bad day. Overall, I was happy with the job performed.

Big Frog electric provided excellent service from the first time I called, through the installation process of my new electrical panel. I've needed to replace my old fuse box for some time now. When I saw this deal offered I jumped on it. But not after first calling to confirm that there were no hidden fees or other surprises, there were not. They first sent out a tech to make sure they were getting the right equipment, shortly after that the owner of the company himself showed up to do the install. He quickly installed the new panel and switches and get our power back on quickly. We had a family emergency (sick baby), so he agreed to come back later in the week to do the final labeling of the circuits. A tech back out at the agreed time and clearly labeled all of our switches. Now our house is safer, and more up-to-date on electrical. I would highly recommend Big Frog Electric for any electrical work you may need. They are professional, prompt and offer extremely competitive rates. A+++

Purchased deal via Angie's List. They were prompt in scheduling. They were also clear about the upcharge given my high ceilings. Workers arrived 45 minutes early and did not call beforehand to let me know about the extremely early arrival. I was on a work conference call when they arrived. They did not bring drop cloths to cover my furniture, flat screen TV or rug from debris falling during installation. I had to move my oriental rug and cover my furniture and TV with sheets. They accessed my attic without letting me know before going into it. I have a switch near the attic entrance that is often mistaken for a light switch but it is the furnace switch - that's why I needed to know before they went upstairs into my attic. The worker accessing my attic stepped off the wooden board and damaged my ceiling. Vendor hired a third party contractor to repair my ceiling - which was a 2-day process. What initially looked like a good deal on Angie's List ended up costing more money and time.

The technician, did an excellent job. He went above and beyond to make sure that the job was done well, including having to improvise a wooden piece to hold the get the new lighting fixtures to stay in place properly.

I had been keeping an eye out on the deals for Electric Panel replacement on Angie's List for a couple of months. Snagged this awesome deal for $699 from this awesomely rated provider and couldn't be happier! It went great, took about 4 hours. Power was out for about 2.5 I think, not bad at all. Cleaned up before he left. informed me also that "Found power flowing through ground wire that needs to be resolved"

James & Alan were prompted, professional and very efficient. The both knew what they were doing and finished the job in a short amount of time. I will definitely use Big Frog Electric again because you can't beat their prices!

Big Frog Electric... where can you start singing the praises on this experience? First: Out of the three "electrician" companies I called, Big Frog was the only one willing to even give you a FREE estimate. Thank you for doing that -- it's part of what made us decide to hire Big Frog and makes me feel like you're truly trying to earn our business through competitive pricing and great customer service. Second: Derek arrived at our free estimate, listened to what we wanted, and provided insight as to things we hadn't considered. He shared some past experiences dealing with rooms of similar size and layout, which helped us nail down what to be quoted. Third: While there was some mix-up on the original scheduling (partly our fault as we tried to sneak this work in before Thanksgiving), Derek and Shane arrived roughly an hour earlier than we were told by the office staff. Let me say, out of any/all of the folks i've hired from AngiesList or elsewhere, this is the FIRST and ONLY time i've had someone arrive early! KUDOS for consideration of our time as paying customers!! That completely set the tone for what ended up being a GREAT installation experience. Derek and Shane walked through the plan in each room, measured out locations and punched through to check for clearances. They were able to do the install of all the recessed lights with no access from above, and with minimal damage to the celings. These guys were also the fastest folks I've ever hired - the whole thing done in less than a day. They also did the entire installation with minimal mess. I'm serious... Big Frog is my go-to for electrical services going forward. Thanks guys!

They did what they said they were going to do. They were on time and did a good job.

James came out on Wednesday to inspect my 26 year old panel and talk about replacing it using the $699 panel deal. We looked at the panel, talked about the replacement, but as James was putting the panel back on the wall, sparks shot out the top and all the power shut off. Turns out a screw that was too long was touch a wire and caused the outage. James fixed everything and left. The next day (Thursday) I turned off a breaker to do some work in a room, and more sparks shot out the top of the electrical panel and smoke filled the garage. The problem was back and my whole house was in the dark. I called James and discussed the problem. He said it was probably time to replace the panel. After finishing another job, James showed up 90 minutes later with a new panel and spent the next three hours installing it with the help of an assistant. That's great customer service when the president of the company is willing to come out the same day within hours to take care of an emergency and keep my family safe. The work was professional, and things are working great. I'm already planning on using James and Big Frog for a couple of other projects.

Great service quickly installed the exterior flood lights as requested and installation price was very fair.

The service was okay, but they were not real friendly.

Panel box upgrade was pointless without doing the whole house, line from street and so on. They were very nice though, and seemed quite willing to help though the cost was too much at this time.

Tim was respectful and responsive. I appreciated his professionalism, and his tidiness! He and Rob did a great job and I appreciated it very much!!! It is so hard to move into an area not knowing anyone and to find a professional like this was great!!!! Thank you Big Frog and Angie's List!!!

Company decided that the work agreed upon was too difficult/labor intensive, so did not complete the work.

The installer arrived on time and was both pleasant and professional. My plan had been to have him replace track lighting in my condo bedroom hallway with canister fixtures. When he began the job, he found the existing HVAC ductwork was in the way and canisters wouldn't work! No worries though! Big Frog went over and above finding different style fixtures that would fit and returning the next day to finish the installation! He did a great job of cleaning up and I'm very pleased with the results.

It went really well. They were very professional and did the work quickly. They did the job just how I wanted it.

All work as completed as described and the two electricians worked quickly so that we were only without power for a few hours. We moved into an older house with a panel that was out dated and not labeled. The new panel looks great and we feel safer knowing that all breakers, etc are new and in good working order.

They did a great job. They spaced them very well considering the fixtures already there. I waited to post this to make sure there were no shorts or anything and it's looking great 7 months after the job. Thanks guys!
