Big Frog Electric

These folks are the greatest. From the moment I first called to get an estimate to the end of the installation. I called to get a ceiling fan installed in a bedroom in a newly build house. The ceiling was 10ft tall and I wasn't about to attempt it. I wanted a professional. I tried to get the fan installed prior to us moving in by another handy man (not on Angie's list) and he was a complete disaster. He first said he could do the job and then fluffed me off because my job wasn't big enough. I got on Angie's list and saw a deal out there for Big Frog Electric. I called them up and the coordinator on the phone was very professional and very friendly. She gave me a great deal. We arranged for the installation on a Friday from 3-5p. She even helped me get in touch with another handy man to install a shower curtain rod since they didn't do that kind of work. Well, the two guys from Big Frog Electric showed up on Friday at a couple minutes to 5p. I'm thinking they are not going to do a good job because they will be wanting to get home. But, they were very friendly and fresh like it was the first job of the day. It wasn't a simple installation as they had to put a brace in the ceiling as the builders only put in electrical work for just a light. It didn't seem to phase them. We all chit chatted while they were working. They diligently worked along and didn't dilly dally. They were done in almost an hour. Cleaned everything up showed me how the fan worked, as it was a fancy kind of fan. Well, at least to me, it was fancy. :o) They charged a reasonable fee and even gave me a discount for first time with them. They handled the payment over their phones and I had an email receipt in minutes. I would definitely recommend these folks to everyone. It is SO hard to get good reliable customer service.

Tyler and Chantz did a great job. They were very professional with great attitudes. When I told them that I loved my fan in my office but it had stopped working they checked it out and discovered that it needed a new remote kit. They replaced the kit and the fan works and so does the light. Then they installed a beautiful new fan in my bedroom that I love. Tyler even gave me a follow up call the same day. That's what I call excellent service! Will definitely refer this company to others.

Excellent job...Tyler and Chantz did a great job, replaced fixtures, sealed fixtures, cleaned up and got rid of a wasp nest. They were very professional and courteous. We will definately use them again. Thanks

I would definitely use Big Frog Electric again! Tyler, the electrician was in contact with me, showed up promptly and in my opinion, went beyond my expectations. Very polite, got the job done, took the fan boxes to the curb and vacuumed up the debris from the installation. Thank you Tyler and Big Frog Electric for an excellent job!

The electrician, Tyler, arrived on time and worked quickly and professionally. He also quoted some additional work for a fair price. I was very impressed. I think I have found a new electrician!

Big Frog's technician, Robert, called a half hour out, on schedule, and showed up on time. I explained what I wanted done. He gave me the cost, emailed me a proposal (from his phone). I OK'd it, and he went to work. There was one "bump in the road" due to the vagaries of working in a 65 year old house, but Robert handled it with care and professionalism. Later in the day an associate, Josh/Justin (sorry I can't remember his name), came to help run wires under the house. Before work began and throughout the day as need or my curiosity was piquedd, they discussed and explained all possible options that would accomplish my goals. Robert and Josh were polite, well-spoken, capable, amiable, and conscientious of our cats not going outside. They were great. The job was completed - on time, - at cost, - with professionalism beyond what one would expect from so young a tech, - with care to my home (he was cutting holes in my walls for the new sockets), priorities, and pets I would absolutely use Big Frog Electric again.

There was a bit of confusion when the first technician came to my home and told me that I would need to pay extra to have my 46" flat screen TV hung (which was clearly outlined as being included in the TV mounting deal) and that he did not have a mount big enough for my TV. Rachel from Big Frog called me for a follow up to see how everything had went and was unaware of what had happened. She was very apologetic and said should would speak with the technician and owner. I hadn't heard anything for a few weeks, so I called Rachel back to see if there would be a follow up appointment to have the TV hung. There was again a bit of confusion, as the technician had told her that I was waiting to see if I could find the pieces to the wall mount that I had (packed away in boxes from moving). This was not the actual conversation I had with the technician, however Rachel was very quick to correct the situation and get a new technician out to my house very quickly. My only other complaint is that after the TV was mounted on the wall, no effort was made by the technician to clean up the drywall/sheetrock drilling remnants that were scattered across the floor and baseboard. Ending on a brighter note... Rachel is very responsive and wonderful to work with... she saved the day and because of her I would recommend their service.

I can't say enough about how great they were. They were priced very competitively and they were pros all around. Robert worked on our house and everything went very well. The lights (LED dimmable) that they installed in the living room were causing some weird things to happen with the circuit in that room.Robert came out a couple of days later and he and his colleague figured out what was going on and got us all fixed up. It was just the type of bulb. We are very pleased with the work!

Estimate and scheduling went smoothly. Robert, who did the work, was courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. He also took time to answer our questions, which was very much appreciated. Overall, we were very pleased with the work and professionalism of Big Frog Electric, and will not hesitate to call them again for future electrical projects.

Called to get info and set an install time for three ceiling fans. Was happy when I was told they could handle the next day with a window of time for the appointment and would call with a 30 minute notice. Called at 11:25am and showed up at 11:55am, right on time. Robbie was courteous and professional and finished the job in about 90 minutes. Very happy with the service and value. Thanks Big Frog Electric.

I have used them three times. They frequently have deals on Angie's List and I have taken advantage of their deals. I am pleased with their work and they are very responsive.

They showed up when they said they would and did an excellent job. They did a professional job in an orderly manner. The job was done neatly and no mess was left behind. I would recommend them and will use Big Frog again.

Big Frog continues to deliver. I am happy with the quality of the work. There was a bit of confusion of the work window. I thought I was given an actual work window but instead it was an arrival window. A misunderstanding that created a glitch in my schedule. But I share the blame on that I guess. Mr Aboshamaa is easy to work with and knows what he is doing. He fufilled his commitment even though I discovered he had a personal emergency that he really needed to attend to. None the less he focused on the work, Helped solve some potential dilemnas with the install and the end result is wonderful. I appreciate the going above and beyond. thank you.

It went well, I felt the job was done nicely except for the cleanup after the job. They should have done a thorough clean up after completing the job, my wife had to spend another hour to clean up all the dust on the counters and cooktop. I also I felt they should have been more upfront about the additional charge on wiring for electrical connection to the lighting. I had to pay additional $115 for it. Also dry wall fix is not included in the deal which I was told upfront but it's an additional cost of $300 to $500 hence that is something that needs to be factored when purchasing the deal.

I had a small electrical emergency today and Big Frog helped me out! My father nailed a hole in my bedroom wall to try and hang a mirror and ended up hitting the electric panel, knocking out the power to the bedroom and bathroom. I called Big Frog Electric and they were here within two hours. My electrician was extremely professional and tried many ways to avoid punching a hole in my bedroom wall. He ended up removing the front of the electric panel and resetting the entire condo..and it worked! He even hung up the mirror that my father had tried to hang previously that day! I was charged the standard service fee and the job was done within 20 minutes. I would definitely recommend Big Frog to anyone who needs an electrician.

This company has been extremely responsive. Within 24 hours, I had two awesome and friendly technicians show up to change out my ceiling fan. They called to let me know that they were on their way, got to work right away, and even provided me with some entertaining conversation. This was a great experience.

The technician was supposed to check with the office to see if we could use their deal, or what the cost would be, and no one ever got back to us.

Big Frog was very responsive to my initial inquiry, gave me a quote and a time for coming out to my smaller job. Pricing was very competitive, showed up when stated (called ahead with a specific time of arrival), resolved the issue professionally and within the quoted price and time. I will definitely use Big Frog again and refer them to others.
