The Mower Shop

I took my lawn mower in Two weeks ago to have the blades changed as they had used a tork wrench to replace the blades the last time and we could not change the blades ourselves due to tightness. I also took in the new blades myself. The belt for the blade drive had also come off and needed to be put back on. I called the Mower shop on July 13th to ask about the mower and was told by the desk clerk that she was too busy with other customers in the store, to give her my phone number and she would call me right back. An hour later, I called back and was told that she still had my number and when she could she would call me back. Later that afternoon I called again {5 hours later) but was told that they had been swamped and would again, call me back with some information. I did not receive a call that day. I left a message on the machine and told them that that was not a very good way to run a business. The morning of the 14th I received a phone call from the desk clerk. She was blunt and straight to the point. "We wanted to call you before we did the work on your lawn mower, it needs both belts changed, your asked for an oil job and for the blades to be changed. The blades you brought were the wrong blades, also. It will cost $325.00 for the service, do you want us to go ahead and fix it? I told her yes, and she hung up. I have done business with this company for years and they were always super people to work with. I am very disappointed with this service now and will never use them again.
