Very good - good quality - clean site. Excellent.

Not too good. PAID for repair and roof leaks even worse! Refuses to fix unless I agree to another $3000 procedure.

Called Fiveash Renovations2/4/16 ...and left a msg explaining our needs/request for a quote on repairs for our rental property. Called Fiveash Renovation again 2/8/16 after not receiving a call back, spoke with Derek,who answered the phone, said he could make it out Wednesday 2/10/16 - Sent him the property address and request via text message, as requested in our phone conversation. Called Fiveash Renovations 2/11/16 Thursday, after not hearing back again and LM to see if they went out/get their thoughts/estimate. We never heard from Derek again and our renters said he never showed up. Taking Derek's word he was coming, we waited an entire week for him to follow through, which delayed the repairs needed. (Water was coming in through the roof and damaging interior walls.) We ended up going with a wonderful company out of Jacksonville. I have never given a negative review, but felt this was very unprofessional.

Finished in one day, job well constructed, water and elect working correctly, no leaks at roof or window.

Hired to retile bathroom. Way above skill level. Had him take some tile out and redo but still looks very unprofessional. The work site was also a disaster. His crew had grout all over cabins and way up on walls. I had him come back and fix some things but just gave up and moved on. I would not recommend. He acted like he could not wait to get done to move on the job he had on St. Simons.

Fiveash did a good job but a few days after they left a pressure washer and two bicycles were stolen off my front porch. I don't have any proof it was one or more of their workers but, I have my suspicions. I have lived in this house six years and my house sits about 100 ft back from the road you can't see what's on my porch from the street, the workers were on my porch using the electric outlet. That is the reason I won't ever call them for work. Like I said I don't have proof but I have never had any trouble at my place until they were here

I contacted them by E-mail, Phone, Text message and Facebook Messenger and asked for an estimate on a roof repair although they did contact me back they never showed up for the estimate as planned and they never called me back to reschedule or say they are sorry for NOT showing up

The owner of this business is one of the most professional young men I have ever met. He is punctual, very polite and his prices are always reasonable. He and his workers tore out an old door, installed a doggy door in the new door and then installed the new door. Derrick didnt know about the dog door but he didnt flinch and he also wasnt going to charge extra for it although it was quite a job. Fiveash also cleaned up everything and carted off the old door! outstanding service, I would recommend this small local company to anyone who wants a job done right and quickly!

They were very professional and patient when I had questions about the details of the leak. They performed good work, and it has not leaked thus far (about 1 year ago).

Let me start off by saying I did not use Fiveash Renovations, but wish I would have. I recently had a new roof put on. My husband wanted to go with someone else. I think Fiveash would have done a better job and a cleaner job. I will use them for my next project.

Frank was very professional, took pictures of the deck that needed to have repairs and the steps that needed to be replaced. Frank said that Derrick would e-mail me an estimate for the job within two days. After four days, I called and talked to Derrick Fiveash and he told me that he would e-mail me the estimate in a day or two. It is February 3, 2014 and I have not heard back from him. Also my neighbor, Keith Hodges, came over and told Frank he would like to get an estimate on work he wanted done to his deck and my neighbor told me that he never heard back from Derrick Fiveash. Both I and my neighbor agreed that we would never call Fiveash Renovations again.. I have since hired another contractor to do the repairs.

Built a deck and installed french doors. |This company was professional, prompt and the job was exactly as we wanted it done. I highly recommend . We will definitely use them in the future.

Had to leave several messages to get a call back and then he didn't call back when he promised.

They replaced a significant amount of rotted wood, built a cricket for our chimney, installed new flashing and baseboards, etc. They met our expectations for the quality of work they performed and were faithful to the schedule they projected for the work to be completed.

This is a messy job! It went very well and my ceilings are now smooth. They cleaned up and did what they said they would. I would use them again- dependable and the quality of work is good.

Did a great job. Very reasonable. Frank was the man who gave me the quote and did the job. Got it done in a day. Cleaned up and hauled away trash. I will use them again in the future.

Was prompt to give bid. Once installation date set, arrived on time with all materials needed. Kept work area neat and clean throughout project. Took pictures during project of work completed. Regularly inquired home owner of their desires and made sure work was done to satisfaction of owner. Very professional, no loud talking, or profanity, no loud music.

Because I am out of town, Derrick and I exchanged a few emails about my request for quotes. As time passed without hearing back from him. I would send an email to check the status. . He would apologize about being very busy and promised he would get me the quotes requested, but they never came. Based on his ratings here, he obviously does great work, and it's extremely difficult to find good, reliable contractors in the Brunswick area. However, he may be a victim of his own success as he is in such high demand, he can't get to everyone (a good problem to have). I think if you're in the area, it's easier to communicate. Just couldn't get it done remotely. Based on all his reviews, I would have definitely hired him, but ended up having to hire other contractors based on lack of response.

Initial contact was to give an estimate. Derrick called 1 hour prior to appointment just to confirm. Arrived promptly, walked around property taking notes, pictures and measurements. We then discussed what was needed, his recommendations and how the job would proceed. The next day I received an email outlining the job and pricing breakdown. We agreed to the work product and a date to begin was scheduled. On the first day, Derrick and his team arrived promptly at 8 AM and immediately began the job. They cleared the work areas of anything that might get damaged (i.e. furniture, decorative items, plants) and began the work. I was on site during the entire job and was impressed how well they all worked together. There was no "horseplay". The only break taken was for lunch. At the end of each day, they would pack up their work trailer and clean up any trash (soda cans, paper). On the second day, Derrick advised me that during the power wash & prep, he noticed some additional damage that would need replacing. He explained what it was, where it was and what it required. We agreed to include it. During the painting phase, the guys placed cloths on plants, driveway and porch to avoid paint splatters. The rest of the work went very smoothly. I will definitely hire Fiveash Renovations for all of my future projects because of their: professionalism, work ethics, respect, communication skills, attention to details, friendliness, affordability, and pride in their work product. WELL DONE!!!

I had date requirements that were met by the contractor and the project was started as agreed. The contractor had more than adequate equipment that stayed on site and anywhere from 5 workers to 8 workers were busy when on site. Everyone was pleasant and worked hard during this project. The site was cleaned after each day of work. I do a lot of work myself and am very particular with results. I was extremely satisfied with the final product. Do get an agreement to the scope of work and amount to protect you and the contractor like we did. If you are changing casement style windows for double hung, be sure to get exact measurements, the casement windows left a bigger opening than a double hung window but the contractor made it work. Be sure if you provide the windows, each window is clearly labeled for the room it fits in large labels. We had small setbacks on the replacement windows provided by homeowner that were quickly resolved. The contractor and I agreed that the scope of work was much larger than first identified because of rotten siding, porch flooring and trim that was covered with paint and putty. We agreed on additional funds that were reasonable to do the job right and proceeded. I picked Fiveash Renovations because they are equipped to do the complete job and had good reviews on Angie's List. I was pleased beyond expectations and will definitely use Fiveash Renovations again for future projects.

Derrick was great to work with.He was very responsive when we called him to look at the problems we were having.We received a bid for the work needed to be done quickly.Being a rental property,he worked around our schedule to get the work done.I would highly recommend his company and plan on using him for future projects.

Everything went well. The quality was good, and the price was extremely reasonable. Recommended.
