Description of Work: We reviewed local services on Angie's List, and based on good reviews, contacted for several minor plumbing projects. He contacted the next day and we made arrangements for him to come out and give us an estimate. He called the next day to reschedule, and came out the day after to look at the work needed. We asked for an estimate and he agreed to get us a detailed breakout within a few days. We have contacted him several times since and he is always "about to stop by". To date, we haven't received an estimate and he is no longer returning calls. I would never recommend. Overall experience was extremely unprofessional.

Description of Work: We needed carpet removed and bamboo flooring installed in the living, dining and master bedroom. They removed "popcorn" ceilings in these rooms. Then added a new texture to ceilings and painted all rooms. Also, replaced all fans and light fixtures. In addition, they repaired French doors off our dining room. Since we supplied all flooring and fixtures, there were a few headaches, sometimes the communication was not the best. But since it takes two to communicate, we take 50% of the blame. Bottom line, our new rooms are awesome. Very happy !!!!! Thanks Bob !!!!

Description of Work: We hired this contractor to remodel two bathrooms and were told by him that it would take 3 - 4 weeks to complete both bathrooms. By the end of the fifth week the project was not half done. He always had an excuse why he could not come to work on the bathrooms. He gave priority to working other jobs when he should have been focusing on completing ours. During the last two weeks he worked only two partial days so we had to let him go and had to find another contractor to finish the project.

+ 9 moreEverything went superbly!! Bob returned my call same day & came next day to inspect and estimate charges. He offered good advise about most that he was going to do. Cost was very reasonably and probably lower that what others would charge. He explained all that he was doing along the way. Work was completed on time and work much better than I have ever seen with others. He cleared the jungle that my yard had become to a nice clean and neat yard. I can see the street and mailbox again!! He is very personable and listened to all the stuff I wanted and offered good advise. I am amazed at his work ethic, he sees everything that needs to be done and completes within "schedule". Looking into my pool leaks that I have been struggling for over 3 years to get checked and fixed with the pool company, and so far to no avail. I can't say enough about Bob! He has solved multiple problems that I might have had to hire several people to complete.
Description of Work: Pressure washed decks tabby & fence & painted. Fixed damaged trim. Painted front door and some siding. Found & repaired irrigation leak. Haul off misc. debris. Cut back multi trees & brush. Secured fencing and replaced multi bad boards. Fixed bad roofing and chimney. Repaired pool fixtures. Lots & lots of small odd jobs that were not charged. Much much more!!

+ 5 moreAll went to according to plan, and was very helpful with things that was not part of the project at no extra expense. He came in under estimate. I had to go out of town for a few days, and gave him the keys to the house, and felt very comfortable doing so. He is an honest, hard working, Christian man.
Description of Work: Completely renovated master bathroom, gutting it down to the studs. Redesigned shower stall, new tile on walls, floors, nesurgery rock on ceiling and walls, new molding round window, recessed medicine cabinet in wall, completely painted all surfaces, removed and disposed of all waste. Please note, this included the price of all material, and I choose glass tile on walls, marble on floors, and glass panel on shower.new toilet and sink.

When we first met, I told him several things I wanted done in layman's terms, and he was able to accomplish exactly what I wanted. His patience is remarkable! As he worked on the various projects, I would mention other things that I was considering doing around the house, and he gave his professional opinion which was helpful in my making the decisions. His pricing is extremely reasonable. Other quotes were nowhere near his price. He realizes that simply because a person lives on an island doesn't mean that the person is made of money. He is an honest worker who believes in doing the best work possible at a fair price. it is refreshing to know that there are still those types of workers in the area. I have recommended him to friends who have also been extremely satisfied with his performance, workmanship, professionalism, integrity, and pricing. As a matter of fact, I am considering having an irrigation system installed and guess who'll be doing it? The Whole House Doctor.
Description of Work: The Whole House Doctor enlarged my patio, added a paver patio, poured a concrete drive and walkway, moved a privacy fence, installed a storm door, and installed a french door after removing a sliding glass door. He also made an emergency call on Sunday morning when I realized that I had a leaking toilet upstairs that was sending water into my downstairs utility room.
