Joe from Carson Restoration came to my house with his crew and looked over the water damage done due to a bad washer installation. My entire laundry, kitchen, bathroom were flooded. They ended up having to remove the cabinets and cut out a portion of drywall that had mold growing. They left the dryers for a few days and then returned for them. Joe was very knowledgeable about the process and did just what he said he would. He and his crew showed up on time when they said they would and were very personable. I hope that I never have to go through this again but would definitely call them again. This was covered by insurance thankfully, so I did not pay out of pocket.

Chris Carson and Brandi were prompt for the appointment. I cannot find Carsons rated on Angie's List to date. I only work with Angie's list rated contractors or contractors that I have known for a long time. Therefore, I declined to get a quote from Chris. I will consider him in the future when he has an A rating from Angie's List. However, he helped me think through some possible issues with my water damage, and I really appreciate that.

They were professional, honest, and responsive. They came out right away and I was very pleased with our experience with them, but found we needed a carpet cleaner so went with a different company to take care of the job

They were courteous, respectful and very prompt. I give them A's across the board and will use them again in the future.

Came home from Christmas to a small patch of mold that had grown below our furnace exhaust. Had Carson's come to clean it up, and while there, they discovered visible mold growing on our crawl-space sub-floor. They provided a quote to come fix it, and the name of another company that could install ventilation in the crawlspace (the suspected cause of mold was that the 1940 home was built without any vents. After spending the money--both for the vent system, the extra mold cleanup, AND duct cleaning--my air quality results were actually worse than they were at the outset of the whole issue. In fairness, I was given an option to decide whether or not to run air scrubbers (for an extra fee) while they were cleaning the mold...but was not told that their containment wouldn't actually contain the spores from the mold they were kicking up. After seeing the second set of air quality results, taken a few days after the work was completed, I phoned a few other mold remediation companies to have them come provide a second opinion. A few issues were uncovered, and I ended up paying another contractor to come over to finish the work, run air scrubbers, and spray an anti-microbial solution in all the air vents. In all, they were nice guys, but failed at the task of actually performing the work to a sufficient level. I'd also point that they NEVER explained any of the air quality samples--I was left to fend for myself on Google to figure out what was happening.
