Ammons Fence Awnings

Fabulous work for a very reasonable price! After obtaining estimates from several local companies, I had Ammons install gates in an existing chain link fence. Not only did Ammons install nice looking and quite sturdy gates, they also did a small fence repair near their work – a job for which I was not billed and which they were not asked or required to do. AMAZING! A neighbor recommended Ammons and I can’t wait to thank him for such excellent advice.

Using Ammons for our fence replacement was an overall wonderful experience. Compared to several other contractors we have either gotten estimates from or actually used for work at our home Ammons was top notch (which is rare in this area for some reason). Mr. Daniel Ammons came out for out initial meeting, was on time, and had great suggestions for our objectives, raising the fence about a foot and maintaining good ground contact to keep our curious dogs from wanting to dig out. The estimate was fair in my opinion, though we only compared it to one other, I though Mr Ammons was the guy to go with due to his professionalism. The crew was there to do the job as was scheduled and they completed the job while we were away on vacation and the dogs were kenneled which was a huge convenience for us all. They cleaned up after themselves well, and the quality of the materials used is outstanding. The fence is straight as an arrow also. We had a complication that required the crew to return and add a larger board (kickboard) to the bottom of the fence due to a gap along much of the bottom, and although I was a little surprised by an upcharge on our final bill for the added materials, Mr. Ammons was more than happy to come to an agreeable and fair compromise. He is great to work with, and I recommend anyone wanting to install or replace fence, they use Ammons Fence and Awnings.

I believe they are on Angie's List. It was pretty high. He missed the appointment and he never returned my phone calls either.

I would not recommend Ammons to anyone. While installing my fence, they broke the irrigation system for our sprinklers, and did not tell us. They dug the holes for the posts by hand with post hole diggers. There were pieces of the pipes in the dirt, but they did not say anything. When we turned on our sprinkler system and discovered the water bubbling and spouting out at the post where it had been broken, I called Ammons to make them aware. After a week of trying to get some answers, they absolutely refused to fix my sprinkler system.

Ammons came out immediately to give us a quote for our fencing needs. They did outstanding work for a very competitive price! They were very professional, easy to deal with, and we couldn't be happier with our fence!

They gave me very good prices. They are very good, price-wise and appointment-wise. They charge $85 when they come out to check the gate, and the circuit board that I needed was like $200. They are excellent people.
