We had a 1 pm appointment scheduled with Steve. I had rescheduled a business trip so I could be at home for the work. By 1 pm, we had heard from no one. Shortly afterwards, someone called identifying himself as Brandon and saying he was in Woodstock and would arrive ~1:30. We assumed Steve was with him, since he seemed to speak in the plural. 1:30 came and went, but a bit later there was a knock at the door. I answered the door and greeted two men. I introduced myself. Still nothing. I said "Are you Steve?" He said no, he was Brandon. I then turned to the other man and said "Are you Steve?" He wasn't. By then my wife had joined, and asked about the appointment with Steve, not knowing who these men were or what had happened. She questioned whether we needed to reschedule with Steve. Brandon said no, that Steve was his boss, and that he has worked all over the neighborhood, and would begin unloading tarps and equipment for the job. While this was underway, my wife went upstairs to call Steve to try to find out what was going on. Steve answered her call, and was tied up with a family situation. My wife expressed her concern about the guys not introducing themselves and whether they were ok to continue the job. When she told Steve that I had cancelled a trip so that I could be home for the repair, he assured her that they were ok, that Brandon was a good technician and we should go ahead and have him do the work. My wife wished him well with the family situation and said we would work this out. While she was still upstairs, Brandon's phone rang. He went outside to answer the call. When he walked back inside, he never spoke, never made eye contact with me in the same room, but packed up all his things, walked out the door, loaded up the truck and left. No explanation, not a word of any kind. I have never seen anything like this in my life. It is very reasonable that we would have a question when two men we don't know show up at the door, do not introduce themselves, and there is no explanation for the absence of the person with whom we have a scheduled appointment. What changed from when my wife's phone conversation with Steve ended after he suggested they go ahead and do the work, that they were ok, until they walked out the door without speaking, we will never know. To say it was unprofessional would be an understatement. I tried to call Steve to find out what happened, why they walked out so strangely, but made no progress. He seemed to suggest that my wife was somehow responsible, even though his last contact with her was an assurance that they could do the work and were ok; she was still upstairs when they did their disappearing act. Regardless of what kind of plumbing skills these guys may have, something is very very broken, to say the least. There was no apology, no taking of responsibility, and no offer to reschedule the service or to complete the scheduled work, even with my telling him I had rescheduled my trip and scheduled our entire day around this work. I have now missed work, rescheduled a trip, and we are left with the same plumbing issues we had when we scheduled the appointment with Steve, for which I stayed in town, which we believed he was going to perform as promised. We are very disappointed, and thought at least they would try to make it right when I called Steve, but there was nothing.

I called, they came (the very next day) and they fixed it. Water was leaking from a little pipe outside my house. We had been burned a couple of times by other so called professionals that we were worried about calling Greenlee. But after reading all the reviews and also because we wanted to give a local small business the job, we went for it. When I called, the phone was promptly answered and when I explained my situation, he already knew what the problem was. An appointment was made for the next day. Brandon showed up on time (we were actually late to meet him at the house). He was very professional and friendly and so very helpful. He fixed the problem and made sure all our questions were answered. The price was lower than quoted on the phone. Everything worked out great and yes, we'll definitely hire them again. Greg was very patient while I tried to decide what size water heater I needed. He scheduled my installation within my work schedule. The installation was quick, clean and professional. I would certainly use Greenlee Plumbing again and will recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

We had a tree root split our waterline and needed repairs. Greenlee was very responsive and presented a few options depending on what we wanted to do with existing tree. We chose to remove tree and have Greenlee patch the hole. Greg showed up on time, was very professional, and did fantastic work. The end quote turned out to be a little less than what we were originally told over the phone after explaining the job. Very satisfied and would recommend to others.

I used Greenlee Plumbing and they are quite good, I used them twice.

Excellent in every way. 3 story house of pipes were replaced. The entire job was completed in 2 days. All sheetrock repaired perfectly and even tile in tub wall cut out and replaced without being able to tell they were even there. I would recommend them to anyone. I will definitely use them again for my plumbing needs.

Our recirculating system in the master wasn't working as sometimes we weren't getting hot water in the shower. The first plumber we called recommended replacing our two hot water heaters and doing some re-plumbing at a cost of $2,500. We thought a second opinion was in order so we called this local plumber. He was scheduled for a later day but called to say he had some open time and could come that afternoon. He did. He diagnosed the problem and installed the check valve in under an hour. Charged only $100 as he didn't charge for the service call since he picked it up on the way home. Second opinions are pretty important sometimes.

Greg was here within 15 minutes as promised. Work was done quickly and efficiently.

I can not say enough good things about this company. Greg Greenlee and his team - Mike - were professional, thorough, friendly, knowledgable, honest and all around awesome. They came on time and honored their price even when the job turned out to be more labor intensive than they thought. They cleaned up their mess and answered all of our questions. If you are looking for a plumbing company that is very fair in their prices, knows what they are doing and conduct themselves with integrity and professionalism then Greenlee Plumbing is a must!

My experience with them was great and awesome. I would highly recommend them. They were outstanding. They did an excellent job and it was fabulous value. We would use them again. They were more than $100 cheaper than anybody else. They were fast and very capable people.

Greg called me immediately after the below review was published, apologized, explained the reason for the miscommunication, and offered to do the work as originally quoted. He is a standup guy and no doubt Greenlee is a good company that just made a mistake like all of us do at one time or another. Although I cannot attest to their work quality, I am adjusting their rating accordingly. Original Review: I called Greenlee to get a quote to replace approximately 125' of polybutylene pipe from my well. I received an immediate quote for $850. I thought that was low and proceeded to describe how I needed 1-1/4 or 1-1/2 pipe installed since I had a open loop geothermal system. I also said there were quite a few obstacles to dodge including trees, utilities, sprinklers etc. I then asked him if he would like to visit my site and give me another quote. He informed me, in a matter of fact tone, that he had already quoted me a firm price and he didn't need to see the site. When the plumbers arrived, they were skeptical they could do the work for $850. They also indicated that the price was for 3/4" pipe only. After a phone call to the office (sound familiar?), I was told the "new" price was $1600, almost double the original quote. I don't know if this is how they normally do business or just lousy communication within their company. Either way, they wasted my and their time.

The guy was on time and installed a new garbage disposal than the rusting 25 year-old piece of crap that blew a hole and drained into the area under the kitchen sink. I don't know if the price was competitive but after cleaning the mess the night before I wanted it fixed pronto. He showed me a quick tip on fixing a backed up drain and to use allen wrench on the unit that the previous owner on the house didn't leave us. He said the unit was rusted on there and had to hit it to get it loose so I didn't feel like such a wimp for calling him.

Their price was too high so I did not use them. It wasn't a little high; it was very high. They were responsive and answered my call.

We called Greenlee on Monday and received a verbal quote to replace our 14 years leaking gas water heater, called another company that came out on Tue and provided detailed estimate, and went back to Greenlee to schedule the install for Thu, they called back with earlier appointment and installed the gas water heater on Wed. The guy that came out was professional, did the complete job in less than 2 hours despite complication with heater water shutoff valve. The cost was exactly the same as the verbal quote. All good and I only have 2 minor complaints. 1- The new heater sets on the concrete floor instead of the stand, and they didn?t explain or ask about removing the stand, the new heater is 3 inches taller than the old, but with enough clearance to have been installed on top of the stand. The other company emphasis that they would try to keep the stand 2- We very much appreciate that Greenlee didn?t try to upsell, but it would have been good to know the option for energy star heater. We didn?t know that the new heater is not energy star, we would have paid more for more efficient heater. Our recommendation for others is to ask. We would hire them again, but certainly ask more questions.

Well. Answered other plumbing questions I had. Had to call back on one toilet as water continued to leak but came back promptly. A little disappointed with the reset on toilet - did not shorten the bolts that held the toilet in place not allowing cosmetic covers to fit.

A pipe burst in my ceiling on Thursday night and flooded my whole home. On Friday morning, I picked Greenlee Plumbing off of Angie's list and called Greg. I had to have a plumber assess the damage and repair it before my home insurance company could continue with my claim. Greg said he would be there between noon and four on Friday. Around 3:30pm, he called and said he was still in Stockbridge. He was too far away from Statham (even though I am right in the middle of their service area) to make it to my home while there was still daylight. He asked if it would be all right to come on Saturday. I told him I could do any time after 10:30 am on Saturday. He agreed to that and said he would call. By 2:00pm on Saturday, I still hadn't heard from him, so I called and told him I would not need his services.

Expert work and really fast repair. First rate!

Called them after our attic water lines burst. Came out the same day after 15 other plumbers were too busy to see us until the next day. They were AMAZING. Went way above and beyond the call of duty. They repiped our entire attic. He thought out how to make sure they wouldn't freeze again, and ran the pipes to prevent future freezing. Then he insulated it all thoroughly so it wouldn't freeze again. SUPER professional and helpful. AMAZING price for all the work. If we ever need a plumber in the future this will be the only people I call.

These guys were great...very professional, competent, and really nice to work with..We would definitely call them again...They came out, promptly located the problem and fixed it!

Greg suggested installing a tank and ejector pump in the closet next to the bathroom. We decided that was an acceptable solution and agreed upon a price. It took a lot of digging and working in very tight quarters. They managed to do all the jack hammering and plumbing work without damaging the new tile floor just 6" through the wall. The guys completed the job in two days. They thoroughly cleaned up the job site before leaving. We are very happy with the outcome and highly recommend Greenlee Plumbing.

I think that they did a real good job. They got it done in one day. It took a little bit for them to find the leak and then they did the hard labor to dig it up and put in new pipe.

They are on Angie's List. I was very pleased. I felt that they were honest, very fair and knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again.
