Description of Work: I recently moved to Athens and bought a home from the 1950's that had some unsightly patches and cracks in the ceiling that we wanted to get fixed before painting the house. I never considered having a drywall company come in to do the work until one of the painters who was giving me an estimate suggested that I contact one for a permanent fix (as he put it, the painters could smooth over the cracks, but they would likely reappear in a few years). He mentioned Wesley's Drywall as a name he had seen at some sites (although he had never worked directly with him). I contacted Wesley and he came the next day to see the house and give me an estimate. His professionalism, friendliness, and expertise impressed me. He was very attentive to how much work we wanted to have done (as he noted, he could find find all sorts of minor imperfections that needed to be fixed, but he didn't want to push us to do anything more than what we wanted). He took the time to explain what he saw as the true problem areas, and what were merely aesthetic issues that the painters could easily fix. In the end his quote seemed reasonable for the amount of work he would have to do, however we chose not to have it done since we were facing all sorts of additional costs in renovations and were expecting to only stay in this house 3-5 years. I'm now kicking myself that we didn't have him do the work since the repairs that the painters made have not held up (just 3 months ago) and the cracks are coming through. If we decide to stay in this house for longer than 3 years then I will definitely contact him again to do the more permanent repairs.
