Mike was personable and Listened to our request. He removed the vinyl from the armrest quickly. He let us choose the replacement color. The new upholstery is much better quality than from the factory. He invited us to wait and watch while he heated and stretched the new vinyl to fit the armrest perfectly. No wrinkles or fold overs around the corners. The work Mike did is excellent craftsmanship.. He also recovers furniture. In his workshop he had a chair he had finished. It was beautifully reupholstered, clean and covered with plastic. I have never been in an upholstery workshop, so I have nothing to compare with this one. The organized chaos of rolls upon rolls of upholstery was amusing to me. Without diminishing the quality of work I would state only one concern. The workshop, including his sewing machine, was covered in dust and dog hair. The dust may be common in this type of shop, the dog hair, not so much. As I stated the finished chair was perfectly clean and covered to protect it. I will definitely have my sofa and love seat recovered by Mike.
