Description of Work: We came abc from a vacation and found that our heater had died. We had called Blount for repairs. They attempted to fixit but it gave out again a few days later. The technician came out as well as the owner and explained we needed a new system, which we were not surprised about. He gave us all of the options and explained what was wrong as well on the original install. We chose the new heat and a/c that worked best for our budget and they had it installed the next day.

Description of Work: Technician determined that problem with AC was a bad circuit board, in early March. They did not have the part. A week later we had to follow up since we heard nothing from Blount. Service rep said that tech was not in so she didn't know status and would call us back. A week later we called again, same response. A week later we called for a service tech. he came on a Saturday, confirmed what we already knew. He wired the blower fan direct so we would have cooling, said he would assure the board was ordered. A week later, no response, we called back and finally they said they would drive to ATL to get the board., after 4-5 weeks the board was replaced, and on that visit we also asked to have the spring service on the system done. When the tech came he said he didn' t have time to do the service. We insisted and it was done. The lack of internal communication is poor with this provider, or, we just fell into the crack somehow. Nevertheless we will not have this issue with this provider again.

When I shared with him the equipment Blount was using and the price they were estimating he agreed it was a very good and fair estimate. That makes us continue to feel comfortable using Blount and we have always been satisfied with their work.
Description of Work: When our house was built they installed all the HVAC equiptment. We recently had the exchange unit replaced.

+ -1 moreI've never had trouble with them, they do what they say they're going to do. I don't know what the problem was, but they fixed it and that's all that matters to me. They were great. I've been using them for 20-25 years. I have no complaints whatsoever.
Description of Work: I use Blount Heating & Cooling. I last used them when my heat went out.
