(ASG) is a relatively new firm that has a foundation of more than 20 years of SURVEYING and GEOMATIC DESIGN experience, along with an enriched knowledge of REAL ESTATE SALES, PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT, BUILDING and GRADING CONSTRUCTION . ASG’s founders, H. Samuel Walker, PLS, Jed Larkin, and Jason Person saw there was a need for surveying and geomatic design in the community. A collaboration, was started with a simple mission of: “Providing a quality service to the professionals who make their livelihood in the real estate market. “ Whether you’re a developer, real estate agent, lending agent or a contractor you have a need to keep a project moving forward. And because of this ASG’s philosophy came about when we realized that the difference between our product and that of others is that we cater to the commercial entities that understand the purpose and the need for a firm that is versatile and provides a quality service. A firm that can take a project from concept to completion while meeting the demand of today’s market place, with the age old saying of, time… is money. *EXPERIENCE 1. ASG’s staff has a combined experience of over 48 years and an average of 8 years per staff member. 2. ASG’s staff has performed surveying and geomatic design on projects that range from individual plats of a subdivision lot to multi-million dollar projects that involved clients like the Georgia Department of Transportation, Roy Quintrell Commercial Developments, Zyvax, The City of Blue Ridge, Georgia and a host of others. H. SAMUEL WALKER, PLS One of the founders of ASG, started his career in 1976 in the U. S. Army, and has more than 20 years of working knowledge of the surveying and geomatic design profession that gives him the vision to think outside of the box to give clients a solution to accomplish their goals. As with every investment venture there are risks and rewards. And with this understanding his focus is on the clients needs. Whether the investment is a home or a commercial subdivision, his approach to a project is with an open mind to accomplish a project’s completion. With this mindset, there is forethought to the limitations from stream buffers to non-existing utilities and how they will affect the project. A good example of this is the Cook Street Improvement Project. While working with the grading contractor and the city of Blue Ridge, there were several problems to solve in building a road that had existing utilities and other constraints that had to be taken into account in order to get the project done. His onsite construction experience afforded him the unique position of knowing not only the technical side of the project but also the practical side. On 3/24/2022 , I inter agreement with ALPHA Surveying Group. To survey our property for our new home to be built on. Work was supposed to start on May 6th according to contract. I called 2nd week in May, they put me off till first week of June, I called to check on status, No one pick up the phone, i left several messages, no one ever return my calls. asked for a refund. on 7/19/22 I received my refund. I finally got someone else to do the job, And we can start building. Alpha Survey has put the building of our home way behind schedule. I would not recommend them at all, very unprofessional, not returning calls, phone rings all the time no one picks up.
