 + 2 moreRidge provided these services in a professional and responsive manner. We bought our home in Morganton, while still living in Orlando. Ridge worked on our home before we moved in. We entrusted him with a key, and did not regret the decision. His work is top notch, he is very professional and trustworthy. During the process, he called me several times in Orlando to give updates, provide photos, and to communicate progress. His billing process is easy and accurate. Since I was not on site during the process, I trusted him to complete the job as we had discussed. He far exceeded my expectations. He made suggestions to change the manner in which he was completing the project to accommodate future plans I had told him about. In short, the work was completed as proposed, on time and on budget with his estimate. Everything exceeded what we expected. I would not hesitate to use him again, nor would I hesitate to recommend him to family and friends.
Description of Work: Screened in back porch, added recessed lighting in basement and installed light/exhaust/heater combo unit in basement bath.

 + 3 moreWONDERFULL!!! Hands down the best experience I've ever had with contractors or handy men/women!!! I'd strongly recommend them to anyone for anything. Punctual, responsible, clean, friendly, fast, price was reasonable, trustworthy and most of all skilled and creative. They went above and beyond my expectations. We were so pleased with the results of the room. They had ideas to share that were just what we needed and had not thought of. I've never, ever, NEVER worked with anyone like this. They showed up when they said they would. If they were going to be a couple minutes late, they'd contact us ahead of time to let us know. (and it was rare). I will never use anyone else for anything we need done around the house. I did not use my real address. I'm a private person. A+++++
Description of Work: Insulated a room, wall and ceiling, put up sheet rock, repaired ceiling, added locks to doors, added vintage light fixture and painted the entire room. OH- and got us connected with someone to hook up ac/heat for the room. There was more, but I can't think of it right now.

Description of Work: Ridge and Jo and Cliff were wonderful. We have a cabin we bought that needed some upgrades and painting. They were true to their estimates, arrived on time, and performed the work beautifully. They redid our decks, rescreened them and painted the entire exterior, fortified our top deck, secured the foundation, and did some smaller inside work. The subs that Ridge got to replace the AC and paint were just as efficient, with Ridge always personally checking on progress. We will use them again in a heartbeat!

They were prompt and worked with my budget. Communication was always available and they addressed all of our concerns no matter how petty. The work done is EXCATLY how I wanted and I'm so happy. Magee Service Group is Reliable, dependable, and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

 + 3 moreThe remodeling just happened, they're excellent. They're very honest, hard working. It's a couple and they've been here every weekdays for two months. I would recommend them.
Description of Work: Magee Service Group remodeled the kitchen, two bathrooms, painting and carpentry. The whole thing, the tile work, they're doing everything. They completely redid the kitchen, the cabinet, tile floors and painting. They supervised everything. They supervised things from Home Depot and I'm paying them just for labor, they did most of the labor.

Description of Work: Ridge and Jo remodeled the bathroom in our 1931 farmhouse and completed several other small projects for us. Their work is phenomenal! They do excellent work - we HIGHLY recommend them.

Description of Work: We purchased a vacation home in Blue Ridge, GA in 2007. The house needed a lot of updating and in 2009 we hired Ridge & Jo McGee to do the major part of the work. They added new counter tops in both bathrooms and the kitchen. Extended the counter to create an L-shaped kitchen counter, added tile backslash in both bathrooms as well as the kitchen and installed new sinks in the bathrooms and also the kitchen,. They created storage space where there was none and made beautiful closet doors. Jo & Ridge work as a team. We discussed every aspect of this improvement. They made incredible suggestions and everything ended up being beautiful. I am more pleased than I ever thought I could be. Pictures of the remodel, before and after, are on their website. We are now planning additional changes and George Handyman will be the ones to do those. I will always use them. They are not only reasonable, they are detailed. They always clean up after themselves and most important, they communicate.
