+ -1 moreIn this instance, Kellett & Son furnished the roofing material we selected. The crew arrived at the set time (actually a little before). They worked steadily (no continuous smoking breaks, etc.) and took a reasonable lunch. They really stayed with it. They did not quite finish the first day but were at the early the next morning to complete the job. Neighbors commented to us what a nice job they did and how good the roof looked (we agreed). Also (and this is a BIGGIE for a roofing job), they CLEANED UP and did not leave any roofing mess on the ground.
Description of Work: Our home in Douglasville, GA had extensive hail damage. This necessitated a new roof. The Kellett & Son price was reasonable and far below some of the "fly-by-night" contractors that knocked on our door (like almost half!) after the hail storm. I had seen some of the prior work of Kellett & Son Roofing so I knew it would be a quality installation. We opted to have them install a roof vent (not covered by insurance) and we upgraded the shingles we selected (also at our expense). Our price was reasonable, but you just can't go by price alone! You want to be sure it will be done RIGHT. Expensive roofing material installed incorrectly is a cheap roof that will not last! I understand Mr. Kellett learned the roofing trade from his father as a teenager. He continues to have the same high quality standards learned by his father's side. His estimates show in detail what is provided. Of course, there are times when the full extent of damage cannot be seen until after the job has begun. Mr. Kellett will explain what is needed and why and the cost to complete the job correctly.(We did not have this problem, but he said he would let us know if he found anything else that needed to be done.) He is honest and wants to do the job right the first time. But if you ever need to call him, HE IS LOCAL AND WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE FUTURE. Yes, I highly recommend Kellet & Son Roofing!!

+ -1 moreThey did a good job. They were $2,000.00 less than other quotes that we received. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very professional. They came out and found areas that had been done incorrectly in the past and they fixed that as well.
Description of Work: They put a new roof on our home.
