This company, simply put, is amazing. They went above and beyond their call of duty to accomodate us. They have always had amazing customer service, the drivers are always very kinds and respectful, and the owner(s), well to be quite honest they're quite lovely and a Godsend. Thank you so incredibly much!

We used North Metro for over 8 years in Roswell and in Woodstock. We never had an issue with the crews or office. If we did need to call, the office was always courteous, professional and prompt. We enjoy small family owned businesses and the customer service they provide. In the last several months, we did lose them as our collection provider due to a service route buy out. When we move to Ball Ground in 2016, we intend on switching our service back to North Metro!

Frequently missed pick-ups and told me there was no coat to add a 96 gallon recycling container. I received an extra $9.00 charge for the container on the next statement. When I called to inquire, I was told recycling costs had gone up and no other attempt to rectify the situation was made.

After three years of service we caught North Metro Waste going through our garbage (stealing it) in our driveway on our weekly scheduled trash pickup day. They would stop to pick up our garbage and instead of putting it in the back of their truck, they would take each bag, tear it open, look at everything inside then put it in the back of the truck. We called to cancel service only to go through eight days of total nonsense. We were lied to over and over again about when they would pick up our old canister. Even the delivery driver called and argued with my wife over a 'trash can'! To top things off, they stole (from our driveway) our new sanitation company's canister. At first, they denied it, then said it was an honest mistake. Come to find out this is the same company that 'stole'...does that word sound familiar?? our neighbor's Golden Retriever puppies 18 months ago while our neighbors were at home. Needless to say they had to bring the puppies back. This company should be held accountable for their actions and consumers need to be made aware about how this company operates. Their price is competitive and they only missed collections on a couple of occasions. Trying to contact someone in the office has never been that easy. They sold Cobb County routes to Advance Disposal Services this month. Neither they nor Advance Disposal Services informed us of the change: and North Metro certainly had the opportunity when they sent out the invoice for the June to September quarter. Unknown to us, our first collection, with Advance Disposal, was June 12th. As the recycling wasn't picked up I called North Metro the next morning. It took several attempts before my call was finally answered but routed to voice mail. They didn't bother to reply until the day before the next collection. At which time I was told the round had been sold. My caller ID showed the call as coming from North Metro Waste but the man on the phone gave me the impression he worked for Advance Disposal. Their communication and transfer to different company has been abysmal.

This company has gone from being the best garbage collectors to the worst. They claim to be a hometown, family-run, Christian based business, but they have no problems deceiving their customers. One day I noticed that they were putting all my recyclables into the trash truck. When I called to complain, I was told that they would never do this as they ?take recycling seriously?. The very next week they did the same thing. Week after that, they did it again. Last week, more of the same. If this company could work to regain their integrity, they?d be the best in the business. Unfortunately, they appear to only be concerned with greed.

I was told over the phone on their next pick up date, they'd pick up my trash and deliver two of their cans, one for trash and one for recycling. The woman on the phone told me to have it out at the curb by 6 AM. I told her that because we lived on a hill, my empty trash cans (after they were emptied) would get blown into the road and down into major traffic. We worked out a deal with my former trash collector to leave my cans at my fence, 20 feet away from the road. She said "yes, that was fine." My new cans were delivered, but my trash wasn't collected. They are open til 5:00 sharp and two days later I was told that my garbage wasn't at the curb for pick up. I reminded her of our 'deal'. She said the driver said it had to be out at the curb and I'd have to wait until next week for it to be collected. The next week I put it out by the curb, but MY RECYCLING WASN'T COLLECTED! I called and the lady didn't know why it wasn't. The driver had written a note, but she couldn't read it. She laughed. I wasn't amused. My third week with this company and everything was picked up. FINALLY! We'll see how it goes from here. I may be switching again.

Very customer friendly and accomodating.

The pricing for their work is a lot cheaper then many of the other companies. They do a great job. I use their services on a weekly bases. They come every Thursday and get the job done.

I have been using them for four or five years now. I found them through a mailer that they sent out and I have been pleased with their work. They never miss their schedule and work on holidays too. They are a family-oriented company and they are very nice.
