I obtained two quotations for the replacement of my driveway and accepted the one submitted by Ron Ward of Ward Bros Concrete. His quotation was $400 cheaper than the other man's. I explained that I needed a drain to keep the rain water from flooding my carport and he installed that at no additional cost to me. After removing the old driveway he pointed out that there were a lot more large tree roots than at first he thought but he used one of his machines to cut them back and dig them out - at no additional cost to me. The crew began to remove the old driveway at noon and had it loaded into a truck to haul away by 6 pm. Next morning the crew built forms and suspended the new drain (purchased from Lowe's) in preparation for the concrete. The concrete was poured and screaded by 6 pm. About 3 days later some of his men came to saw the expansion grooves into the concrete. The job has been completed about one month and so far there are no cracks or blow holes anywhere. I am very pleased with the work his company did and highly recommend him to my neighbors.
