My carpet was in good condition to begin with and had some coffee and other staining in 3 of the rooms. I had purchased two Groupon's for $79.00 for 10 rooms for a standard steam clean. When the tech came out to my new home, I was a bit concerned because there was only one person to do a very large job. The commercial vehicle was a older Jeep with no decals or advertisement and caused me to be a bit apprehensive. We did a walk through and the technician consulted with me about the deeper stains and said he could get out the stain and blend it with the carpet as a whole for an additional $105.00. I had the additional work done and very glad I did. Overall I was very pleased and my carpets looked almost new. As a new home owner gift the tech had added the disinfected and Scotch Guard at no charge.
Description of Work: I had purchased services through Groupon. I had purchased a new home and wanted multiple rooms steam cleaned before moving in. To ensure that additional rooms were covered I placed a call to Omega Carpet and Janitorial Services to ensure the Groupon covered the additional square feet needed. I had 10 rooms cleaned and 3 more rooms deep scrubed and added the disinfected and Scotch guard that was not part of the Groupon. I was very pleased with Omega's tech and the over all quality provided. I would recommend Omega to anyone that wants a great carpet cleaning any time of the year.

I purchased a Groupon that they offered in May for 12 house cleanings; that means we entered a contract for twelve cleanings for a price that they advertised and agreed on. They offer a two-hour window for their house cleaners to arrive, the first appointment they were two and a half hours PAST the designated arrival time (i.e. I waited for 4 1.2 hours and was late to pick up my daughter as a result). Frankly, a two-hour window for someone who is busy enough to hire a house cleaner is a complete disregard for customer time. The clean for the next couple of times was lovely, because of the lady who was running the show. I haven't seen her since the third clean. A new person called for the fourth cleaning, telling me only that she was on her way. An hour and a half later I called to find out what was going on and the owner had told her to turn around and not come because I had not called back. Reminder here: I was NEVER told that I needed to call them to get her here, only that she was on her way. This was an especially bad time because I was counting on them for their help that particular day (we had just had the house flea bombed and I did not want to bring my toddler back into all of those chemicals). After a long talk with the owner, during which I broke down in tears out of sheer stress and frustration, he FINALLY agreed to attempt to get someone to come out to help (he was unsuccessful but was able to get someone out the next day...the ONE kind thing that this company has done, albeit, it took tears and an insane rise in blood pressure.) At one point in that conversation, he told me that when working with people you never knew and that people change their minds all of the time (unprofessional, again, for him to state that to a customer and I do work with people, I’m a teacher, under NO circumstances do you EVER treat the customer, or speak to the customer the way that I have been spoken to and treated by this company). I should also mention that prior to speaking with the owner during this particular incident, I spoke with the receptionist who 1) accused me of abusing the Groupon that I had purchased (which I most definitely had NOT…I scheduled the twelve sessions over 24 weeks and anyone with a calendar and a brain should be able to figure that out, regardless, her tact was invisible when she brought up the issue) 2) was incredibly rude and unfriendly (I actually reminded her that I was her customer at one point as well as asked her if I had done anything to anger her over the course of the conversation) 3) has been rude, short and incredibly unprofessional in her demeanor ever since (tone). Today, the day before our next scheduled cleaning I received a short, rude phone call from the receptionist telling me that the owner decided he did not want to honor the remainder of our twelve session contract. The owner didn’t even have the nerve to call me himself to discuss. I’ve tried phoning him directly and he isn’t answering. I’m at a loss. I ALWAYS tip well. I am kind to the people who enter my home, and the people who I speak with. I try to make my side of the story known without being overly aggressive. I’ve felt bullied, manipulated and stressed. To be honest, I’ve felt like I’ve had to put on a pair of boxing gloves before getting on the phone with these people. Their cleaning services were never what I expected with the new person (the last two sessions that I have had). She never mopped the floors (which should be standard), did not clean the front rooms (even through there was plenty of time). I understand that my house is large and that it might take longer then the two-hour sessions. I NEVER complained when they didn’t get to things in their time frame, ever. I did them myself. The line was drawn when they would not do everything, or would stop before the two-hour agreed upon time frame was up.
Description of Work: The services I was under the impression I would be getting were a complete clean, or as much as they could do in a two hour time frame. I understand that if cleaning well, and deeply, it might not be possible to get to everything in my house and I was fine with that. But the floors were never mopped, the dusting was sporadic, and entire rooms were left undone when there was in fact time for them to finish in the two hour cleaning window.

Am sorry that the customer feels this way but she have thank us for our service and told us how happy she was all the way up until we decided not to complete the groupon session on housecleaning. We did offer to assist the customer in any form we could and to refund her money back. We try to please everyone but as we know that cant be done. We did apologize to the customer and tried to talk to her but she refused.
