Their office responded to my online inquiry via Angie's list within minutes. The person who called was very polite, professional, knowledgeable and schedule an appointment for the very next morning. The technician arrived on time and I received the same professional and knowledgeable service as over the phone the day before. The tech explained all he was doing, why it was necessary and offered options. My former HVAC serviceman retired so I had to find someone new and Wayne's Service All is it!!

What a breath of fresh forced air! Wayne's was prompt, attentive, and ultimately diagnosed and FIXED my heating issue for less than the cost of a diagnostic visit from other HVAC companies (Busby's & Sig Cox). My wife found WSA to be honest and they were able to solve our problem in the same amount of time it took another service's technician to call me and explain the problem. That's what I call efficiency and reliability. If you are a homeowner, especially an out-of-town homeowner/landlord, I highly recommend using Wayne's.

The company was great in getting a technician out to your location in a timely manner. The Tech was were knowledgeable. The one thing i limed tbe most was you are given 30 days from time the services were performed to pay your bill. The company also followed up with a courtesy call with in those 30 days to ensure you was still satisfied abd eveything was still working. They treated you like you indeed were family.

Both compressor and outdoor fan were bad as if we had a lightning strike. Waynes replaced unit with new one which cools betterthan original unit.

They did a great job and basically serviced (and even took the units apart) to ensure a complete inspection of the entire system. They found a couple of problems that would never have been seen with just a visual inspection and were extremely helpful in explaining their inspection reports. They even gave me their personal cell numbers to call if I had any questions, which I used, and they were so nice. We were very happy with their service.

My A/C quit after I went to bed on a Saturday night. I woke up Sunday morning to no A/C. I called around and could not find someone to come out on Sunday to repair the A/C. Then I called Wayne's Service All. The owner came out, straight from church, to evaluate the problem and determined that the compressor fan had gone bad. He sent a repairman out with a replacement fan and by mid-afternoon I had a working A/C unit. They were extremely professional, went out of their way to restore my A/C on a non-work day, and did not try to sell me something unnecessary. I would use them again without hesitation.

A different HVAC service provider who is also highly rated by Angie's list.( See my other review in HVAC category quoted me a price of $4000 to replace heat exchanger and $5500 to replace unit.......this other HVAC company did not provide written estimate) After being told my repair would be so expensive I had no idea what to do so my wife told me to get another estimate. I originally called Wayne to replace my unit with a used unit my neighbor offered to give me. Wayne asked to look at my old unit and I hesitated because I did not want to pay a second service charge. He offered to look at my unit for no charge so I said ok. He then looked at it and offered to fix for $1500. So we were overjoyed and said yes. The service man came out a few days later. and in two or three hours had our unit good as new. He was professional, polite and knowledgable in his craft. I still do not understand how a different HVAC service company which was recommended by Angie's list customers could be $2500 more expensive. I am certainly glad I called Wayne and will do so again in the future.

Wayne had to trouble shoot my unit twice to determine the problem. The reason was to keep costs low as possible. Even though that process did not prove fruitful, he continued and determined that the heat exchanger in my Goodman unit was bad. He placed an order for a new one at my request. and I knew and was aware that it would take several days to obtain one as they are not normally a shelf item.. That was about a week ago and today (Friday, December 6, 2013) one of his employees replaced the bad exchanger with a new one. As a matter of fact, I didn't even know that he was here until I started to smell the heating up of the new unit as I was at my computer. Went outside to see that his employee was closing up the unit and about ready to leave. Great service and I encourage anyone needing quality work to consider Waynes Service All. Fast and credible. I've used his services for years and he will be in/out so quick that you need to keep an eye out for him. He is strictly business and concerned about providing quick and positive service. Biddie

Wayne, contacted me after I left a message and stated he was near by and as soon he finish there he would come by. In less than two hours he showed up and in less than 15 minutes found the cause of the problem. At the moment, he didn't have the part but estimated that within two days he would come by and replace it and I didn't have to be here. He stated that he would leave the invoice and I could mail the payment. He was very professional and courteous. As promised, he came replace the damage part and since I haven't have any problem.
Description of Work: Wayne, show up, as promised, within a couple of hours. Found the source of the problems 15 minutes with one of my A/C units.

I looked at a number of Grade A service providers on Angie's List and decided to call Wayne's Service-All based on high quality reviews and also I like to support the self owned small business provider. I called Wayne's office just before 2:00 pm today and asked about getting a service call since my downstairs unit was not cooling properly. They said they would have someone there within a couple of hours and by 3:30 Daniel and Brad arrived, that's what I call quick service! They diagnosed the issue as low freon and added the appropriate amount. They then went inside to verify the cooling rate with thermo readings of the air flow, which is pretty standard practice. They then offered that since I had time remaining on the hour service call they would be happy to do a check on the upstairs unit and also washed the coils effectively performing a seasonal tune up. Daniel and Brad could have easily left after servicing the initial unit and I would have been pleased but offering to use the remaining time to service the second unit is in my opinion giving superior service and value to their customer. As an engineer I realize this was a small service call but by going the extra mile to provide exceptional service on small jobs it is a great indicator of how they would perform on bigger jobs. I will use them again and highly recommend Wayne's Service-All

This was quite without doubt the best experience I have had using Angie s List. On 7/19/13 I noticed that our air-conditioning was not working. There had been a severe storm the previous night and unknown to me lightning had apparently struck the system. I went to Angie s list and had several local providers to choose from. I contacted Band E Heating and Air. They sent promptly sent out a technician. Upon his arrival he did a check of the system both in and outdoors and told me he had discovered that the system had been damaged by some sort of electrical occurrence, lightning being the most likely source. He stated that the high voltage disconnect and the control board would have to be replaced, at a total estimated cost of $450.00. When I asked how long it would take to finish the job he told me that the parts would have to be ordered and the work couldn't possibly be completed before Wednesday-6 days away. As it was then 90 degrees inside our home the idea of enduring this for nearly a week was unacceptable. I asked the technician was there anything he could do, expedite the part order, check with local sources to obtain the part, etc. He assured me that noone would have the part on hand and couldn't get it any faster than that. When I asked when he would come back and finish the job he replied that since the next day was a weekend and nothing could be ordered, that I should call Band E Monday to have them order the part. He billed us {$55.00} for a service call and left. My wife and I decided that we had to try at least once more to get a better resolution. I saw Wayne's Service-All was highly rated and called him. I spoke directly to Mike, the technician, explained what had happened, and asked could he beat the Band E 6 day completion time, as well as the hefty cost. He asked several detailed questions and then confidently stated that not only did he feel that he could get the system running that same day, but at a much better cost. He promised to arrive in an hour or less-and he did. Upon his arrival he did a complete check of all elements of our HVAC and asked me to come outside so he could show me the problems. He agreed with the previous tech's diagnosis that the high voltage disconnect required replacement but that was the only agreement they had. He informed me that once he replaced the disconnect box that the control board was operating as it should and didn't need replacement. He asked had the previous tech checked the exchange unit in the attic. He had. Mike told me that a wire was left disconnected there. He then informed me that my thermostat was broken as well, something not even mentioned by the other tech. Mike replaced the thermostat with a temporary one until he could get my model shipped and installed. 20 minutes later we had AC again. When Mike first arrived I asked him to estimate what his total bill would be. He estimated a little over $200.00. When he finished working I offered to write a check and he declined, saying that I would be billed by mail! Several days later I received an invoice-for $117.00! I was dumbfounded. To receive such excellent, honest and professional service is sadly, almost unheard of now, at least in my experience. I will use no one else for my HVAC needs.

AC was not blowing cool air. The provider sent someone out the next day. They checked out the system and determined the condenser fan motor needed to be replaced. After the repair was finished, the condenser unit had a loud buzzing sound. The technician suggested putting brick on top of the grate, which did stop the buzzing. We had a problem occur with our other AC unit and had someone else look at that one. They looked at this unit as well since it was still very loud (compared to how it was before the repair) and pointed out that the motor that was replaced was actually the wrong size. The unit calls for a 1/8hp motor and they replaced it with a 1/3hp motor. I called Wayne Service All and the owner came out to check the work done. What I understood of his explanation was that this motor was 1) more economical (cheaper), 2) somehow uses less energy than the other motor and does not use the full power of the motor because the fan-blade size is smaller on this smaller AC unit so the higher HP is irrelevant, and 3) any alternative motor would be just as loud. He was still willing to change the motor if I wanted to but was confident that this was fixed properly. He did not believe changing the motor would effect the noise of the unit. I did choose not to have him change it out (I guess I'm willing to try trusting his explanation). Time will tell if this motor lasts or not. Also when I called to ask about the motor size issue, I asked about the cost. The motor they put in could be purchased online for $70. They billed me $150 for this part. I was told it is normal for repair companies to mark up the cost of parts. So essentially, if you consider the final cost, it cost $317 to replace a $70(retail) part, which took him maybe 30 minutes to assess the problem and do the repair. Bottom line, they were prompt, they did repair the AC unit, the owner was personally responsive to my concerns about the correctness of the repair, they seem overpriced.

Mr. Wayne came out and looked out. Recommended a particular part that we needed. An evaporator coil. With the coupon I got a good deal on it. Unfortunatley, a couple of his employee's came out to replace it. They were a little younger and possibly less experienced. Once the part was replaced it did not work well. Could not get the temp under 78 degress. Called back and they sent back a couple of different guys who checked it out. I knew that the unit would not shut off. I called back another time and Mr. Wayne came out himself and he was able to find the problem and fix the problem.

I definitely recommend Wayne's Service for expertise and courteous service. This was an excellent experience and I consider them my new heating and air condition service.
Description of Work: Our heating and air condition unit had been serviced twice in January 2012 by the vendor who originally installed the unit in July 2011. The furnace failed to come and/or would not hold the heat setting. I decided that enough was enough and called a different vendor. I turned to Angie's list for a service company. On January 16, 2012, I selected Wayne's Service All, Inc. Wayne's Service determined the real problem with the furnace and repaired it in less than ten minutes. Turns out that the unit's wires were installed incorrectly when I purchased it in July 2011. The wires were reconnected appropriately and the furnace is working just fine now.

Description of Work: Called the compnay listed on the system when it was installed and they never called back. The following day on a Saturday to check the Air Conditioning. They came out wthin an hour and spent about two hours, finding the leak and recharging the system. They even contacted to manufacturer of the system to file the warrenty claim.

I originally contacted Wayne's Service All because my air-conditioner had stopped working. I had already determined that the compressor on the outside unit needed replacing and was shopping around for best value. Mr. Joiner came out himself after hours to inspect the a/c unit for me and give me a quote on replacement. He fairly quoted a price to replace the compressor, but recommended a change out of the complete unit as an economical alternative. When notified that I wanted them to do the work, they came out and changed out the outside unit quickly and had the air-conditioner functioning again in an afternoon. Upon inspection of the unit, I realized that the water drain pipe was broken off and water was not draining from the a/c unit. I called Wayne's Service All back to address the broken pipe. They quickly returned and realized they had to inspect the inside unit to determine why the water was not draining properly. Inspection of the inside unit determined the drain pan had a leak that was misdirecting the water over the furnace. After testing the furnace, they determined the furnace was not working properly either and would require replacing. They called in to have a replacement furnace and evaporator coil sent over to my residence so I could have it all replaced at once and completely installed the furnace and evaporator coil that same afternoon. Overall I was extremely pleased with the work done by the company. My only negative comment concerns the amount of time that I had to wait for them to return to complete the clean-up and repair the trim after the installation services had been completed. They were unable to finish up the clean-up after they installed the furnace and had agreed to return to clean out the remaining area and permanently affix the insulation as well as repair the trim around the attic entry that had been broken when removing the older equipment. I had to call back twice to get them to come back and complete the area, but when they did return, they did an excellent job of completing out the service. Their work was professionally done and promptly completed. I was not at home when they completed the outside work on the condenser unit, but I was pleased with the way the team supervisor came out to inspect and assist when the technician encountered problems with reconfiguring the drain (this was before they realized the furnace would need replacing). They spent the time needed that day to thoroughly troubleshoot the problems and provided me with all the information and options I needed to make the most informed decision about how I wanted to proceed with the repairs.
Description of Work: On 7/20/2012 replaced air conditioning condenser unit and then returned on 7/27/2012 to replace evaporator coil and furnace.

He was very nice, except the only thing was, he didn't check upstairs, and we had a leak. The leak went into our bedroom, because of the overflow. The nice thing was, he came back a fixed the problem, and he didn't charge us for the labor, just the parts. He was very nice, and we thought that was very fair. He came back fairly quickly after we called him about the leak. Everybody makes mistakes, and he fixed the problem. It's fortunate we were able to catch the problem, and there wasn't really any damage. We would use Wayne's again.

I called Wayne Service-All for an appointment and the person that answered the phone informed me that she was going to contact Wayne and call me back. To my surprise, within 30 minutes, Wayne called me and stated that he was in the area doing a repair and that as soon as he finishes that job he will stop-by and check my A/C unit. Within a reasonable time, he showed up and after reviewing the system and unit, he found the cause of the problem right away and how much it will cost to repair. Since he did not have the part and quot;on-handand quot; he informed me that within a couple of days he would come back and replace it and that it was not necessary for me to be at home. When I asked about the payment, he informed me that he will sent the bill through the mail Wayne demonstrated knowledge and professionalism and quickly diagnosed the problem. He explained the problem and solution. I would do business again with Wayne's Service!
Description of Work: The A/C unit has stopped working before the end of the summer last year. Wanted to have it fix before the start of the warm weather and heavy season for A/C repairs.
