Arrived promptly and came back to complete the job a second day. Efficient 3 man crew.

I contacted Votz, based on reviews on this site a few weeks ahead of time and made an appointment on the morning of a day I had off. I described my situation as best I could over the phone. It is a problem I have had for a few years, squirrels had damaged the wiring to my front porch lights and turning them on would throw a breaker. The technicians, Richard and James, were scheduled to arrive between 8 and 11 on that morning. At 8 am, my phone rang and I gave specific directions to my home. They arrived about 8:30. After troubleshooting the problem, (85 dollars) it was concluded that there was no way to completely fix it without cutting a hole in my sheetrock because I had no access to the area in the ceiling. One of the light fixtures was right outside the box (lightswitch) on the inside, so the technician stated that he could fix that one to work and tie off the other one so that the bad area would not present a fire hazard. That solution was more in keeping with my budget, so that is what we did. Voltz usually charges 35 dollars per light fixture, but he only charged me 40 for the two because at this point one of them will not ever work. There is a 10% discount for Angie's list members, hence the 113 total. Richard and James were very courteous, polite and professional. They answered all my questions and provided the best solution to the problem that they could. They worked quickly and were done within an hour. I paid by check, but they do take credit cards. Richard even suggested a product to help keep squirrels away.

The tech listen to my issues over the phone an advise me that the problem I was describing was most like a issue outside of my home and recommendd that I call GA power first so that I don't waste money on a service call. After having GA power come out it was determined that the problem was outside. I will definitely recommend Volts to my family and friends and use them for any service call.

My house was struck by lightning. It tripped all the circuit breakers. Some of my outlets and lights would not come on after I reset the breakers. I called Voltz. The rep asked me if I had checked the switch on the outlet itself. I had not, did not know they had them. After I reset a few everything was back on. I really appreciate the knowledgeable service. I gave an A for punctuality because he answered the phone right away.

Called Voltz to schedule a service visit and an appointment was made for the following week (7 days out - not an emergency). As it was up in the attic and the summer temperatures had been in the 100 degree range, the service visit was scheduled for 8:00 - 8:30 am. The technicians called around 7:30 am to verify location/direction and to let us know they were on the way. I really appreciated their call. One of my pet peeves is a service person not letting you know if they are going to be late and/or not showing up at all at the designated time. Two technicians arrived on time and proceeded to the attic to assess the situation. My husband and I asked them to replace the fan and thermostat as it was original to the house (24 ? yrs old). They took the old fan out and went to pick up a new unit of similar size/function. They returned promptly and installed the new attic gable fan and thermostat. Both technicians were polite and courteous and answered all our questions. The bill was $ 237.25 and included labor and the purchase of the fan. The new unit appears to be functioning as it should, and is somewhat more quiet than the old unit. During the 95 + degree days, the attic gable fan, in our previous experience, seems essential to help out/augment the a/c unit, especially alleviating some of the humidity inside the house. We were pleased with our service experience and will call Voltz Electrical Service for any future electrical issues.

I thought the service, price, and guy that came out was great. I was very impressed and I recommend them to anybody. I haven't had any problems so far.

Voltz Electric was the best experience I have ever had with a contract company. They set the date, called to confirm and called prior to arrival, and arrived on time. They went over the expected work, and then got to work. They showed me everythig they did, and discussed any changes with me. We had a circuit breaker that repeatedly tripped and finally wouldn't reset. After trying to check the breaker myself and finding that it looked like a wiring problem, I checked Angie's list and found Voltz. I spoke to Richard, who was very professional on the phone and set up a time to come by the next morning. Richard called before our appointment time to let me know his previous job was running over, and that he might be about 20- 30 minutes later than expected. When he arrived, he was professional, courteous, and didn't mind my watching him work so that I could learn more about the problem. He then explained what he thought was going on with a wire in the fan, fixed something else he saw that he thought might potentially cause trouble later on, replaced the switch to the fan (he said it didn't seem to feel right when he switched it on/off. It was pretty old.), and replaced the circuit breaker because since it had been tripping, he didn't want it to be wearing out and, as a result, continue to trip or fail to trip if needed later on. He also let us know that he felt the electrical construction on our home had been well designed by someone who clearly knew what they were doing. This made me feel more secure about our home. Richard had another worker with him, James, that was also very polite and professional. Overall, it was exactly the kind of service call I was hoping for, and at $86.00, the price was very reasonable.

They are excellent. The pricing is good, they are extremely punctual. They always clean up.

We had discovered that a leg of a circuit had gone out with no trip of a breaker. Called Voltz, upon the recommendations from Angie's List. They arrived on time and quickly found the problem and made repairs.

Did a good job. Tested attic fan and determined that the motor needed replacement. Purchased new motor and installed it. Installed new outdoor GFI outlet per code. Efficient, prompt, courteous service.

We just bought a house that had an old intercom system and can lights that we wanted to remove. Voltz called a half hour before they were to arrive to let me know they were on the way, they showed up on time, got right to work, capped off the lines so we can remove the units, and were in and out in a short amount of time at a very reasonable price. They are licensed, bonded, and insured and they will be the electricians of choice at our house for future work we'll do.

I called Voltz on Monday afternoon and gave them a brief description of the work needed. They quoted me their $84/hr rate for troubleshooting associated with correcting the outlets. I agreed to the rate and we scheduled the work for Thursday. They called Thursday morning and arrived shortly thereafter. They were professional, informative, and worked very efficiently. The work took four hours and the material cost $194 ( the GFCI breakers were the expensive parts). I was pleased with their service.

Voltz Electric was wonderful. They were very professional, on time, and cleaned behind them. I would recommend them to anyone!

I was extremely pleased with the service. They listened to my needs, paid attention to detail, made good suggestions and completed the job the same day I called.

Everything was great. The job was done quickly, professionally, and thoroughly. The gentleman were a pleasure to work with.

I plugged in an electrical appliance on my kitchen island and noticed it wasn't heating. When looking at the outlet I noticed it was scorched. When I pulled out the drawer from the island I could see where the drawer was hitting the electrical wire (Romax?) Upon checking the breaker box I also saw one of he breaker was also blown. I found Voltz Electric in the local newspaper and called them. I was concerned that whoever came out would have great difficulty in replacing the wiring due to the granite top on the island. The electrician and his helper came on time and assessed the problem. They said whoever wired the island didn't wire it correctly, the romax should have been secured in place and two GFI outlets aren't necessary on the one island. They fixed the wiring, notched out the cabinet so the wired sits flat and won't be hit by the drawer opening and closing and replaced the one breaker. They cleaned everything up and gave us a 10% discount as first time customers. I would recommend them and will call them if I have any other problems. I found them to be very reasonable and responsible.
