Kris and Trisha came out to provide service and were very professional in fixing my garage door and recommended ways to properly maintain it. They were prompt, friendly and provided great service at a reasonable price. Will definitely recommend their services to all.

Description of Work: My springs broke during the middle of the night and my car was suck in the garage and I needed to leave my house by 6 in the morning. I called superior overhead garage doors at 2 in the morning and the technican arrived within an hour and fixed my door.

+ -1 moreHe ended up replacing a couple of components to the garage door for me, and also found a couple of additional items that needed to be done. He showed me what issues he saw and was able to fix it right away during the same service call instead of scheduling another visit. I appreciated him looking ahead and making sure my garage door was in good shape so I wont have any bigger issues to worry about in the near future. I live in a town home community and work on the HOA board. I have recommended him to the other units in the community, and I would recommend him strongly to anyone.

Advised us on different scenarios and I was very impressed . I did not purchase plan from Angie's list because I did not know it was there but I would have and I will definitely recommend this company.

+ -1 moreI am now waiting on a refund. I was told it would take a week.I am hopeful that I will get this refund. Refunded $415.69 Kept $514.72 saying it was a 'restocking fee' for a standard door that can be resold all over town. This is not appropriate business. Wish I never attempted to do business with this company.
Description of Work: Had a $99 Garage Door Tune-up and Roller Replacement package where they were to tune up and replace old ball bearing rollers and inspect and advise on springs, cables, center bearings, drums, torsion bar, jam and flag brackets, hinges, general panel condition, gear and sprocket assembly, weather seal, bottom rubber, and remotes. Told my door was in terrible shape and that I needed a new double insulated door and it would not be worth it to just fix old one (brand new in 2007). Talked into a $1600 door. Afterwards I felt that I was coerced. Had put down additional $800 for something I didn't want in first place. After a few days called him and he said it was on order. I called a different door person and he fixed it all and more for $130. I did call Superior Overhead door and reinforced that I wanted my money back. This man had handwritten in on the bottom "no refunds on deposits". Gave me back half the deposit, none of the $99 I paid for the roller repair he said he couldn't do. He kept $514.72 for doing NO WORK. He is extremely unprofessional and I feel like he took full advantage of a single mother. He misled me that my door was unfixable as it is working perfectly fine and looks impeccable. Do not trust him.

I live in California, so I didn't want to have to keep taking a care of service calls from afar all the time. I was in town for a week and wanted take care of this while I was in town. I called Kris on Tuesday morning and he showed up that afternoon. I was happy about that, because I had a limited time in town and he installed the door the following morning. When Kris showed up we talked about the door, and I appreciated his very down to earth approach about my situation. I felt that he wasn't really trying to sell me something, which he did, but that he understood what I wanted, and had all the answers I wanted to hear, so I felt good about the purchase. Overall, I would recommend using Superior Overhead Garage Door Service to anyone in the area.
Description of Work: I had an old rotten wood door that I was on fence about fixing or replacing and after talking to Kris about all my options, I decided that it made more sense to just replace, than to repair a 30 year old door anymore. He also checked out my my motor for me and told me that the motor would still work, but it was an old motor, that had no safety features, and he would give me a deal on new one if I wanted to switch motors.
