They did good work for me.

Security Fence was hired to replace 300 ft of fence for my backyard to keep my dogs secure. I foster dogs for a local rescue society and have a varying number and type at any time.The price was a little high, but still somewhat reasonable. The only reason I contracted this company was because they said they could complete the job the next monday(March 29 2010). I was expecting to take in more fosters later that week due to the MAsters being held in town and space availability. When I called mOnday to confirm a time, they could not make it out, they would come Tues. morning. Tues. morning they could not make it, they would come in the afternoon. They had not arrived/called by 430 pm. When I finally got ahold of the owner, he assured me they were on their way and would call me back with a eta. He then called to say they had burst a watermain at another job and couldnt make it to my job that day. He promised they would arrive no later than 830 Wed morning and would be done when I got home at 530. According to witnesses(another contractor there for another job,and my neighbor) they did not arrive until 10am, left at 11 for an hour, and left for the day at 330pm. The fence was half completed. The corner posts were bent out/warped, and they left a large amount of small metal pieces/debris that was dangerous to my dogs as well as my neighbors yard. one of my dogs was cut on some of the metal(a minor cut). I called the owner and he apologized and promised they would finish the job, fix the deiscrepencies, and cleanup the yard completely the next day.Thurs when I got home the fence was complete, but poorly done. the posts were still bent, the tension line was loose from the fence, and several panels of the fence were looser than needed. There was also still debris in my yard and they left my hose spread out in the yard for my dogs to chew. I spoke with the owner again and he again promised to fix everything and cleanup the yard the following day. Fri. I got home and the posts were fixed, but the loose panels and the tension wire were not. The owner was supposed to meet me at 6-630 to close out the contract and did not answer my calls until 830. We decided to close Sat at 530-6pm after work. Again he did not answer until after 8 and did not arrive until 9pm. I had checked around with other contractors, supply companies, locals, and small business owners to come up with a fair price considering all that had happened. I had an injured dog, a poorly done fence, had been unable to take in the other fosters, and had been jerked around for a week. I was advised to pay between 1500-2000. The owner not only would not negotiate with me, he manipulated and intimidated me into being on the defensive and being bullied into paying 2400. I am a young, single military female who lives alone and was cheated by what should have been a well established company. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPNAY unless you have a man to keep them in line apparently...
