Regina Wadsworth

It is April 9, 2015. We hired Regina to be a buyer's agent about 2 weeks ago. She did say that she was more of a seller's agent. Her assistant, Sandra, would be showing us the homes. Sandra was very prompt and patient with us and never made us feel rushed and found out the answers to any questions that couldn't be answered during the showing. We are still in the looking phase of buying and trying to narrow down just the type of house we really want. Since we have a preference, but are open to other possibilities, we have wanted to see a variety of potential homes. We did put an offer on a home that was accepted; but, after talking with the president of the homeowners association and really thinking harder about the purchase, we decided that it wasn't the right home and cancelled the contract. It seemed after that the enthusiasm for showing us places went down and we felt uncomfortable asking to see places we were interested in seeing and we were even discouraged from going to a few places. When we asked to see a place and were told no, we decided to cancel our buyer's contract for the benefit of all parties. We still feel good about having Regina handle the sale of a home, but think, perhaps, that we will be happier with a buyer's agent with more time to show us what is out there, even if it means looking at quite a few houses.

She helped us every step of the way. This was our first house and she answered every question we had. She took all of our wants/needs into consideration and helped us understand the market at the time. She was always professional and she always responded to emails, texts or phone calls in an extremely timely manner. My wife and I were surprised how fast she would respond sometimes. She was never pushy and never rushed us but was eager to help us find our perfect home. She wouldn't let us rush into any decision either. She showed us houses that she knew we wouldn't love just so we could get an idea of what was in the area and our price point for our wants. You will not be disappointed working with Regina. She loves being a realtor and you can tell from the first meeting with her.

The house has been on the market less than 2 weeks and is not in the best neighborhood. There is not likely to bidding war for a house here. But the house is in great shape and Regina certainly has done her part. My wife and I have confidence that if anyone can sell it, she can. Every time I call or text with a question, she answers quickly and is very patient. The materials she has distributed are very professional looking and show all of the house's many assets. She is planning to do an open house. She is doing everything you would expect a top-notch realtor to do. Believe me, our experience in the past has shown that this is not always the case with every realtor. This is a work in progress. Note: If Angie's List calls you asking for a verbal recommendation, please don't do it. Please take the time to type your own review. I responded to a call the day before yesterday and have been frantically trying to undo the two reviews I gave (one of them being this one). What was written for me by Angie's List made me sound like I had severe brain damage and was very unfair to two fine professionals. Thank heavens I figured out how to erase (I hope) the original phone reviews with my typed ones. So, beware!

She worked hard to make sure she understood what exactly I was looking for and that I knew what I was getting into. If she thought the house was something I might like, but not love, she would make sure I thought about it. She was always in contact with me. She was great for a first time buyer. Anytime I texted her she either called or emailed right back.
