MERRY'S TRASH & TREASURES

A few years ago, we purchased several pieces of furniture from Merry's Trash and Treasures. Furniture comes in a variety of qualities and this furniture was on the upper end of that spectrum. All of the furniture we purchased has held up nicely and have made wonderful additions to our home, with one exception. The chest of drawers we purchased started to have an issue with its finish. It was cracking and pealing in a few places and we really became a little upset with how it was starting to look. We stopped in one Saturday morning to Merry's to look around for more furniture and mentioned our problem with the piece to both Greg and Brad Merry. We've had this furniture for over 3 years and I was kind of expecting a "well, we can't really do much about that" or "I'm sorry that happened but it is 3 years old" type of answer. Instead what happened next was nothing short of amazing. They looked at me and said "We're going to fix this" "We'll make it right". I smiled and said "Ok, that'd be great". They took down our number, we shopped around and left. The next day, they called and said when can we come pick up the furniture. We set a date and time, they showed up exactly when they said they would, and took the furniture away. About a week later, they called back, said they've corrected the issue and wanted to know when they could deliver it. Again, we set a date and time, and they showed up exactly when they said they would. They carried it in to our house and put it back exactly where it was. IT LOOKS AMAZING. This is exactly how business is supposed to work and Merry's gets that! I didn't have to do anything. I didn't have to ask them when they were coming, make any follow-up phone calls, or beg them to get our furniture back before the holidays. They managed the entire process from beginning to end. All I had to do was speak up. Merry's has great furniture for all walks of life and the people there are dedicated to their customers and are some of the nicest people you will ever meet! If at all possible, I'll furnish my entire house from their store. They earned my business by having beautiful furniture, they kept my business by doing what is right. I highly recommend you shop with Merry's and while you're in there, don't forget to look up - they've got great lighting fixtures, paintings, and pictures that I always seem to miss because I'm too focused on the items on the floor.
