They were prompt and checked for a sewer line clog as well as reset my half bath toilet, which we discovered had a cracked ring which was causing a small leak.

The plumber, Dawn, came to our home very promptly after we called on the morning of 12/30/13 with a request for an estimate to replace our leaking 50 gallon electric hot water heater. Dawn came out and reviewed our situation and gave us 4 estimates, as I had asked about tankless hot water heaters as well as the tank type that we already had. Based on the infromation she provided, it made our decision fairly simple to stay with the same type we had, as we don't have natural gas and the propane tankless option was estimated to have a higher yearly cost and a much higher initial installation. I checked with a couple of other companies and found Meetze to be in the middle comparing only prices, however, we decided to use Meetze due to Dawn's very professional and courteous estimate at our home. She made no high pressure sales, but simply presented the different options and asked us to call her for any additional information. She and her assistant, Stanley, came out the next morning on New Year's Eve to do the installation. We had determined the day before that a new 50 gallon tank would NOT fit where the existing tank was because the diameters had changed over the years from 24" to 26" and the entry way under our house where the old heater was positioned was only 25". We had another entry under our house which was large enough, but didn't have the piping or electric run. She quickly looked at the possible spot and said, "No problem!". She ran piping and electricity to the new location and had everything finished up, including taking the old untit away in about 2 hours. She and Stanley were great! We would definitely do business with Meetze again.

The office staff were very kind and concerned, even though I had called on a Sunday evening, they had someone out to my house the next morning. They would have come out that night but I said that it was not an emergency. The plumber ran a video camera through my pipes outdoors and found the massive blockage was outside of my property on city property and told me to call the city to remove the large tree root from the city pipes. He did what he could do to clear my pipes so I could have immediate drainage and use my plumbing. He spent over an hour investigating and working. When he brought me the bill, it was only $99.00 and said that they were having a sale on video diagnosis of drainage pipes and that was it! He wrote up a description of the problem for me to give the city. The city responded immediately based on their recommendations, checked it out and found it to be true. The city brought in their tractor a couple of days later, dug up the pipes and removed the large tree root and reestablished a new connection to my house drainage pipes.

Replaced toilet, hooked new faucet up to pedestal sink. Cost for services was way too expensive for services rendered.

We had a rupture to our hot water heater. Called Meetze and they provided immediate assistance. Within 15 minutes I was speaking to a plumber on staff. The water heater was replaced. Total time for first call to finished work was less than 3 hours. These folks are great.

The dispatcher scheduled us for a 3 hour window of time for the work to be done. They showed up late at the tail end of the scheduled window but did call 30 minutes prior to arrival indicating they were en route. Upon arrival we discussed the work needed for exterior faucets (replace 3 and install 1 new one.) We also discussed some options for increasing hot water capacity. They charge 50 dollars just to make the trip out. They charged $260 each to replace each of the existing faucets and $400 to install the new one. While I felt the price was high, I needed the work done and I had already committed the initial 50 bucks so I agreed to have the work done. There were two workers on site, the plumber and an apprentice for 3 hours total. Estimating roughly $50 / hour for both of them for a total of $300, that leaves $900 for overhead and materials. Feels a bit excessive but judge for yourself. I would probably not choose them the next time I need plumbing service on this basis alone. Having said this, the quality of the work itself was good based on what I've seen so far. Hope this helps others!

Never was able to get an estimate.

I have used another plumbing company in the past and always felt taken advantage of. Not with Meetze. I felt they did everything they could to get the job done well and keep costs down. When cutting the holes they considered the cost of replacing the drywall having to go around pipes or not. When he repaired the shower instead of replacing the whole drain as he thought he would, he saw just the seal was the issue so saved me $100 there. They waived the service call fee because we had to get so much work done. He double checked his work, cleaned up really well after himself. I just am really happy with the service. I really expected this to be much more expensive and take much more time than it did. They set me up with a contractor they've used for 20 years to get the drywall repairs done.

We found Meetze on Angie's list. We had a minor sink leak that we could not identify. The person they sent was very professional and was able to identify and fix the problem within 20 minutes. They only charged the $99 service fee, which given how remote we are, was well worth it. I would use them again anytime.

Replaced PVC and did not charge me for part just service call. Excellent company.

Lee Hagins, Master Plumber, and John solved our problem of a sump pump that was pumping too frequently. After a careful inspection, Lee and John adjusted the sump pump in our crawl space and also gave us sensible options for our discharge problem. We are so relieved that we don't have to hear the sump pump come on every minute and a half. We have tried other plumbers but we have faith and confidence in Meetze. We will ask for Mr. Hagins and John next time we need plumbing work!

It went very well, everything was explained and plumber was very professional.

Josh: on time, needed to do hot attic work at 3:30 p.m.. Asked to return in cooler a.m., I said OK all done by 10 a.m. cleaned up.

Arrived within an hour of contacting and spent close to an hour carefully checking all of the current plumbing and water heater, and then writing up a quote detailing work.

My husband and I have only owned new construction until we fell in love with our newest home, which needed a few cosmetic upgrades. As we replaced all of the brass fixtures with oil rubbed bronze, we were inexperienced in replacing sink faucets so we called Meetze to help. We removed all of the old faucets so all they had to do was install the 3 new faucets for the bathrooms and the 1 for the kitchen. They originally quoted us $670 for install. I was shocked as this was way more than I paid for the faucets themselves. Needless to say we just had them install the kitchen faucet as it was a little more trickier than the others and we did the rest ourselves. As far as the service went, they were professional and their quality in work was top quality, so I do recommend them if you have deep pockets.

They were curteous and professional. The only negative was that she was expecting them between 11:00am and 1:00pm. and when she had heard nothing at 1:00 I called them and asked what was up. They apologized, said they would call me back when they called the plumber to see how much longer he would be and then the lady got "tied up" and forgot to call me back! I called again at 1:30 and she fell all over herself apologizing and the plumber showed up pretty quick after that and all was well. So I will still call them again a third time. Overall the two situations were positive. Everybody has a bad day once in a while and our first experience with them was top notch.

Set prices did not seem to equate to service required.

Meetze Plumbing Co Inc. are excellent. I've known them for many years. Their price is high but they do great work. I've known them and they're good people. They're reputable people. They know what they're doing. They fixed my faucet and did a really good job for me. They've been in business for a number of years. They're very reputable and all of their employees are licensed and bonded. They show up on time, do the job and stand behind their work. They are good folks.

Overall. we have been completely pleased.

The service person recommended replacement at a cost of $1,500 which I felt was much too high. I ended up going to Lowe's and purchasing a water heater ($350) and calling an independent contractor who installed it for $125. The service person was very professional and went over all of the options. I was considering a tankless system ($3300) based upon his sales pitch about the advantages but decided to check Consumer Reports and found their conclusion that the expense outweighed the advantages because of the amount of time that it would take to recoup the cost difference. The $49 was for the service call.

I was told by the technician who came to work on the problem that it would not be easy to pry the corroded pipe out of the tank and if he was not successful in doing that, the entire tank would have to be replaced. After about 30 minutes of working with it, he was able to get the pipe out and replaced with a new one. I was very relieved when I found out that my old tank had been saved! I will definitely call Meetze again. They came when I called, without my having an appointment, were very professional and helpful in giving me their best service.

I called on Friday and they were able to check my water heater first thing Monday morning. The office staff was very nice and accomodating. The service folks, Lee and Dawn, were very nice, punctual, professional. I could not have asked for better service. They checked the problem and the water heater was leaking from underneath. They quoted me the service and then began to remove the old water heater. They told me when they were cutting of electric and water supply. Delivery of the new water heater was quick and they were finished within a 3 hour time frame. Excellent work, could not have asked for better.

Worked very efficiently and we were up and running within an hour.
