Junk in the Box

I called Junk in the Box on Friday, November 6 and was pleased to be able to make an appointment for today, Saturday, November 7. They were prompt and called a few times to notify of/confirm the estimated arrival time. Johnathan, one of the workers, reviewed the items and gave an estimate of cost. After I agreed, he and the other young man (sorry, I did not get his name) proceeded to carefully remove the items at warp speed. They worked fast and were very professional as well as personable. The company provides great customer service received from Lisa who took the call, and the service workers. The items removed included several printers, a shredder, old sewing machine, 32-inch monitors, a compressor, heater, and more. I am very pleased with their service and plan to use them again.

Terrible. Junk in the box shorted me 8 hours. They picked the dumpster up early. When we called they stated that they had an emergency and didn’t realize how many dumpsters they had loaned out so they took ours early. I responded and let them know that we still need our dumpster and they first offered 10 dollars off. I said no way we still have debris we need to remove. I received a call back and then nice woman on the phone said the owner would send a crew to remove the rest of our trash. I thought that was a great compromise, however when they worker showed up, he had a full a dumpster that wouldn’t hold the rest of our trash. He then informed me that our previous dumpster was too full. I asked what was the limit the worker told me that we were allowed two feet over the rim. I showed them our security cameras and photos that proved our dumpster wasn’t full when they picked it up and the worker said oh well maybe the were wrong. He then informed me that the rest of our load was too big for him to pick up and that the owner asked him if he could get more money from us. Additionally, the worker offered (in accordance with the owner) a team to come and pick everything up at full price. After that I said this is too much. I’m a disabled veteran and my husband is active duty Air Force, we don’t have a lot of time to wait for them to get their mess together. We were charged 225 for 48 hours and then we were treated horribly. I’ve used the company so many times but if this is how they treat customers (and service members to boot) I cannot not in good conscience recommend this company. Especially with so much military in the area.

There were able to get here same day. It was great that we didn't have it sitting in the driveway for days. Guys were fast and cleaned up like it never even happened.

I was moving from Georgia to Texas and as is usually the case had a lot of odds and ends at the end of the move that were simply not worth taking. These guys came out and loaded everything up and hauled it off. They were neat and left my back patio quite clean. I would use again if I were in the area. Prompt - and fair price.

I set up the appointment via the website and Josh called promptly back to set up an appointment. On the day of the appointment there was a little hiccup with the time, but once that got settled, Josh came by, gave an estimate and was able to pick up everything I needed right there on the spot. I had quite a bit of stuff (enough to fill half a garage), but Josh and his co-worker took care of it with no problem! They really came through and were very nice and professional. I definitely would use them again! Highly recommend!

We were cleaning out our rental property and some of our own stuff. Setting up the service was very easy and they were prompt on both the drop off and pick up. They took everything we wanted to get rid of, including a toilet, old paint in closed cans, furniture, scrap lumber and other discarded household items. For the price, I'm not sure how we would have gotten rid of so many different items so easily. Great service!

We were tearing out the front landscaping and pruning trees. We had massive amounts of yard waste that need to be taken away. Junk in the Box is an excellent service for the Do-It-Yourself people needing a way to dispose of yare waste, construction materials, etc. at a very reasonable price. We have a lot of work to do and will be using them again.
