I consulted Angie's list, noted their high rating and called Hutto to repair our machine. They gave us a date and time period when we could expect them. They were hours late for the appointment, causing us to cancel other appointments in order to be there when they arrived. When they arrived, they were not able to complete the repair, telling us they would have to order another part. However, they expected payment in full for the partial repair. We told them we would not be able to have them complete the repair the next week, as we would be out of town. They told me they would call the following week and tell me when they could finish the repair. We heard nothing from them that week. I finally called them and asked about completing the repair. The person answering the phone knew nothing of the promise to complete the repair, and could not tell me when it could be completed. After a couple more calls back and forth I finally got a commitment for the repair men to complete the repair. They didn't make it at all the first time and were, once again, hours late when they finally made it. They finally fixed the ice machine and it seems to be working. I would NEVER call them for service again.

My air conditioner stopped so I called Hutto and they promptly called back. I made an appointment and they fixed it. All this was just a couple of days (maybe 3?). Super professional. They even carried different parts with them so they wouldn't have to leave and come back.

They charged me for the estimate and came ot to look at it and found that there was nothing wrong with it. He shouldn't have charged me for a service he didn't do. I didn't appreciate that. He didn't do anything so I payed for something I didn't recieve.

I called Monday morning, around 7 am asking for a free estiment om a washing machine that I thought was leaking from the bottom. I called back around 10 am spoke to the receptionest, she told me it would be Tuesday before any one could come out. When the Repairmen arrived, The machine was not the problem. The drainage in the Apartment was the problem. it cost me $65.00, for no service.

Set up appointment for service the following day but I had to cancel. They were very accomodating and rescheduled for the following day. They arrived on time although I asked them to call before they arrived and they didn't. Great job with repairs, fast, and professional.

Went wonderfully. Initially someone came out to see what the problem was and then determined what parts were needed. When the repair person returned to fix the appliances, he was friendly and professional and cleaned up after the repairs which did not take long at all. Very pleased and everything works very well now. The only small glitch was, on the first day, I was given a window of time when they'd come and they got hung up with another job and didn't make it. I would have liked a phone call letting me know about the hold-up. The next visit the repairman came right on time and the rest of the experience was so positive, I felt like it made up for the glitch in communication. Will definitely use them again.

We had suspected that the problem was the thermal fuse, which was a fairly easy repair. But they also helped me by vacuuming the inside of the dryer (which was covered with lint), and by moving the vent tube into a better position.

I called on a Monday stating I had a previous service call by another company which replaced the thermocouple. The failed repair pointed to a gas valve needing replacement. By Thursday after calling each day to get a status we had reached a point where they would order a valve and install Monday. I called the manufacturer finding out they keep the valve in stock and could ship overnight. My work is too demanding to take on the responsibility to status/plan the work. i stopped the repair and called another contractor.

I got their name from Angie’s List. They charged me $108.95 for their service. That was with tax and everything. I called them and they came really soon. If need be, then I would use their services again.

They showed up on time, installed all new rigid duct work and even insulated it all for us for free! When they finished you could not even tell that someone had been here working! We were extremely pleased with them..only wish we had found them sooner!

They came out to repair my water heater and replace the thermostat. I had it go out the day before and they make a way to get to me quick. was impressed with their professional attitude and knowledge. they were very helpful and I would use them again

Good, professional encounter. I will call Hutto next time an appliance goes bad.

I called them on a Monday, and they had a new outside air condition unit set up and running that Friday(20May11). I will definitely do a contract with them.

Very friendly, proffessional repairmen. Wash machine was working intermittently so they had to make several trips. They were anxious to get it right for me.

Unsatisfactory

I called on Wednesday and they had appointments available Thursday, but I asked them to come out on Friday due to my work schedule. They said between 4-5 p.m. and arrived around 4:15 [my only complaint here is they didn't call first, but that's a minor point]. Larry came right in and got to work on the inside unit while his assistant [my only other minor complaint is that the assistant never introduced himself nor did Larry tell me his name] went to work cleaning the unit outside. Larry checked the connections, rinsed the filter for me, and answered all of my many questions thoroughly and never once did he make me feel as though I were bothering him. He then went to each vent in the house and checked the air pressure from the vents, explaining the reason behind a weaker air pressure from one room (too many vents for the main unit to handle due to an additional room being added to the house) and what I could do to fix it (close the vents and tape something like heavy duty paper plates over them) so the air could be kept to the more used rooms with better vents. He also explained what type of filter I could get that would work best with the pet dander and pet hair. All told, he was here about thirty minutes and had I not been home when they did their work, I wouldn't have known anyone was in the house. They closed my side gate when they were done working in the back and left everything in the house as it was when they arrived, even when they had to move some things around to get to the air vents. I was extremely pleased and have asked to receive information about signing a contract, where they will come out every Spring and Fall to perform the necessary maintenance.

Wonderful. My washer wasn't spinning or draining the water. I called Hutto and spoke to TJ. He told me a repairman was in my area and he would see if he could catch him to come by right away. He said he would call me right back. Within about 5 minutes he had called me back to let me know the repairman would be able to come in about 15 min. Within that time Thomas was at my house. TJ had even let me know what the truck looked like and that the repairman would be in uniform. Thomas came in and was very professional and friendly. He asked me about the problem and had assessed it and knew what he could do to fix it within a couple of minutes. He even gave me a couple of options to fix it. He could bypass the switch at no added cost or waiting for a replacement or he could order the switch. I decided to let him bypass the switch since no kids are operating the washer. He fixed it within a couple of minutes. Payment was very easy too as they had plenty of options for payment. I would definitely use this company again. I made sure to get a business card.

The first service was done in a timely, professional manner.

Hutto arrived when promised. The technician diagnosed the freezer problem quickly and corrected the problem. When scheduling the appointment, I asked the receptionist if the refrigerator tech also worked on AC. Because the same person was able to provide both kinds of services, I was able to minimize time away from work and reduce costs. The tech even shared tips with me that will help me extend the life of the AC units and save on future servicing costs.

Our refrigerator quit working. We called Larry Hutto in the morning. That afternoon he and his son came to our home and immediately diagnosed and repaired the problem. We were concerned that we might need to purchase a new refrigerator. We're so glad we called Mr Hutto. The service was prompt, professional and priced right.
