Jason did an excellent job with installing the flooring.

The job came out well. The problem was fixed, but the leak was not caused by what we first expected.

Do Not Order Carpet from HOME DEPOT .... they are great with selling merchandise in store but do a miserable job contracting out services. Below is a quick recount of my experience. Carpet install no show. Advertised 72 hour carpet issue. My experience with home depot flooring was and still is a disaster from the moment I walked in. Not knowing how to proceed, but knowing I wanted to purchase carpet, I approached the flooring agent. He did not look up until I asked for help, I explained I wanted to set up a "home measure". He said I needed to pick out carpet, any carpet, and I could let them know later what I really wanted. He never left his seat to explain anything - only setup measure. The measure went fine, guys were extremely nice and knowledgeable. The next problem was when I went back back in to order. The first agent helped me for about 5 min. until he looked down at his watch and left (It was the end of his shift). I found another agent to help me, he was super nice and we picked out carpet and ordered. When I requested an install date of August 22nd, he proceeded to tell me the installers would call me to set up. That would be fine except they could not give me a date because the carpet had to be ordered. So, I decided to change carpet and go with a "72 hour installed carpet". When the installers called about this carpet, they told me they could not schedule for the 22nd but had the 23rd open. I agreed. They called to confirm on the 22nd. They called to cancel on the 23rd. Meanwhile, down on the farm, my moving company is steaming for my home with a move in set for the 24th and my wife is due to have our baby the first of the month. Bottom line, this is a really poor way to conduct business and I expected more from Home Depot / homedepot.com

The guy was very nice and did a wonderful job. Such a great experience from start to finish!

Since this is a rental property and I'm not always available, I generally have to get other people to do things. I tried Lowes, but they wanted almost as much as the microwave cost to put a new one in. Home Depot did it for half the cost, and the turn around time was great. They showed up on time, removed the old microwave, and installed the new one without any issues. In the future I'll only be going to Home Depot. Oh, and they also give a 10% military discount, which helps out a lot!

My experience with the quote was not good. They were not able to keep a meeting we set up to design our cabinets. I did not feel confident that they would be able to deliver a product.

Bought several items. Personnel in various areas were extremely helpful. Bathroom was well kept and clean.

The process was just fine. They were very helpful.

The salesperson at the store seemed knowledgeable, took all of our information and explained how we needed extra padding under the flooring we chose even though it had backing. He also told us that the installers would take up and put the baseboard back in place. Both were very wrong. The measuring people did not include the cost of removing the current baseboard and replacing it with new baseboard in their quote. The delivery people did not show up much less call when they decided not to deliver our flooring. And, I took off work to be here during their stated delivery window. The installers were wonderful! I can't tell you how professional, courteous and prompt they were. They did exactly as they said they would do exactly when they said they would. We are extremely pleased with the installers. The assistant store manager did everything he could to make everything right. We ended up sending the extra unneeded padding back for credit. Since it was HD's fault for the baseboard fiasco they ate the cost of installation. It is also our understanding that the salesperson is no longer working there. We ended up getting a goodwill credit after everything was installed and all extra materials were credited. I will continue to buy products from HD, but I will never use them as a contractor.

HOME DEPOT will probably do some work for us, but they haven't done it yet. They quoted us on the work, but they haven't come out yet. They quoted us on the service two weeks ago. The quote was for $500. They did put on a pretty good presentation, they had a fancy measuring thing. He got perfect measurements. It was actually pretty impressive. It's this laser thing. He got all the doorways. How wide the doorways were, where they were in relation to each other, it was really cool. The tool went wireless through his tablet, he had a program on his tablet, I guess interpreted all his measurements and drew a floor plan.

I like their warranty and brand names.

They have excellent employees who are professional and knowledgeable. Overall, they are a good store and were very understanding when we wanted to return stain that we had purchased.

I purchased cabinets for my kitchen and the "designer" on hand based the layout on measurements that Home Depot took. The measurements ended up being WAY off, therefore the cabinet that came in did not fit the kitchen at all. Home Depot's assistant manager pretty much told me "too bad." According to him, their measurements (which I paid $60 for) are not guaranteed unless they perform the installation. Corporate office did nothing. Then I contacted the BBB of course that's when corporate decided to take action. The general manager was nice, but by the time I got him, I was in tears because the store staff along with the corporate office said there was absolutely nothing they could do to help. I will never shop there again. Employees are rude and apparently they do not stand by their services.

They had the flooring, but not the transition pieces. When I was ready to pay for it, I asked them if the transition pieces would be there when I needed it and they said yes. They weren't. I had to pay for an appointment where they refused to put the flooring in because there was a hump in the floor. My subcontractor, Larry, ended up doing it. It was not fun.
