First of all, we had a lot of trouble contacting them and getting them to set up an appointment. We never did have a definitive time; he said he'd call when he was on his way. We were told that we had to pay in cash, so I had to go to the bank to get the money. I asked for a receipt. They said they would send it to my email. It is now two months later and a still do not have the receipt. All they did was find the metal stakes that were already in position and hang a pink tie on three sides. They didn't even have to get their surveying equipment out. On the back right, the stake was missing and they had to triangulate the distance from the other stakes. They charged $50 more to add the stake in the back.

It went great! I had called a couple local surveyor companies from the phone book, one never answered and the other answered with a recorded message stating they were not taking on new business. I eventually called H.Lawson Graham and spoke immediately with a human being, a nice woman, and before I hung up I was given an estimate and a promise to come out to the property. It was not a problem that I was nearly two counties away. The next day I received a courtesy call that they were on their way. Mike and Daniel were my surveyors. Extremely professional and precise. I have an uneven, extremely wooded property and they didn't get finished the first day. They returned as soon as they could and finished up the last marks. It was clear that it was more important to get it right than to just get it done, which I appreciate so much. Once completed they took me out and showed me where my points were and answered all of my questions. I knew they were rolling on to another job yet they were very patient with me and went the extra mile. Overall, a great experience.
