John and Chad arrived on time and provided excellent and professional service. They were very careful, precise and answered all of our questions. They hid the wires better than the Geek Squad did when we purchased our Den TV last year. Well Done!
Description of Work: Install TV in Den and relocate TV in Den to Master Bedroom.

I bought a new computer printer and ink in October. Today I went back to get more black ink. When I got home the printer gave a message that it would not accept the ink. I took the ink and the printer to the store. I stood in line for about 15 minutes with other customers while most of the staff were going into a training session. I was asked to fill out a form about the problem which was never looked at. Someone then took the printer and re-inserted the ink cartridges. It was then moved and connected to a computer. The young woman who took the computer asked me when it was bought and I told her 7 months previously. 30 minutes later a young man came up to me and said that there was nothing that the store could do about it. That I needed to contact the manufacturer. I asked to speak to the Store Manager. After another five minutes or so a young woman came up to me. I asked if she was the store manager and she said, "I am the manager on duty". She told me that as I had not bought the store's extended warranty that there was nothing they could do. I asked about the ink as I had bought it lest than 3 hours previously. She said that as it was opened that there was nothing that could be done about it either. I asked again if she was the store manager and this time she said she was. I asked her why she had not said so before. I asked for her name and was told her first but was told that she did not give out her full name. This may be store policy; however, if someone is a store manager I would think he/she would need to give out his/her name. I worked in public service as a manager for over 40 years. I feel that if there was nothing that the store could do, I should have been told that immediately rather than after being kept waiting well over a half hour to determine that it did not work. It did not take me nearly that long to determine that it did not work. Also, at first I was told that something would be done to remedy the situation and then I was told that the store could not do anything. I asked if the training session was about customer service and was told that it was not; that it was about how the company operates. I went to another store and bought ink cartridges and they worked, went back to BB and spoke with someone else who claimed to be the manager. They gave me a refund. The problem has been resolved but at first they told me that they could not refund my purchase because the packages were opened.
Description of Work: I bought a computer printer and a few months later, ink for the printer.

Geek Squad was very prompt in contacting me to set up a time for the installation. They were very professional in their attitude and work. They explained everything throughly. After they left I forgot how to do something, I called them and they talked me through it.
Description of Work: I purchased an HDTV and some components from Best Buy and purchased an installation contract with Geek Squad.
