 + -1 moreHe did fine in the repair and was a seemingly nice guy, but later got into trouble with the law due to not fixing people's TV that were brought into his shop. I think he is out of business now. That part has failed again in 2015. Description of Work: paid service fee his son and his girlfriend arrived at my home after one scheduled appointment they did not show for. was told part would be in in 2 weeks gave them 3 when did not hear from them started calling was given excuse was waiting on email from manufacture and or when call was transferred to sons voicemail and or return message was that was being hot ticket to be a priority after several more months of calling still no response it is now 2014 they are in it for the service fee only and no customer service at all on the receipt says they call back w/I 72 hrs after service call they do not....had someone else to come and repair tv in one hour

Description of Work: He said I needed a new control board for my Vizio 47 inch TV. He would return 3-5 business days with the part. Never heard from them again. Called about 10 times, left messages, no response. Went to his shop in Martinez, said had trouble getting the part. I called Vizio myself and the part was available. Called again and left a message, no response again. It has been 21/2 months since he came to my house. Very irresponsible!

Description of Work: They attempted to repair my two year old LED HDTV. After a storm several electronics in my house did not work. My TV could no longer receive input via HDMI, but the screen still worked fine.

 + 0 moreThe first instances went great, but when I took the VCR back this week for an issue apparently arising out of the first service, they wouldn't take American Express, even though all their literature (and their front door) said they did. Since it was an expense report repair, I had to put it on AMEX and, when I couldn't, I left. Their place isn't much to look at, but they DO make house calls.
Description of Work: Came to our home to repair a 32" TV that was too heavy to take to them. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it on-the-spot, even moving the TV to another room for us. A year or so later I took a professional VCR deck to them for repair of a power supply. They had the machine for quite awhile, but I'm told it was because they were waiting on the manufacturer for a part. They fixed it, though.
